“We found this place through a youtube video and we were not disappointed the lady at the counter was super sweet. The mac and cheese was really good. The oxtails omg!! So tender the corn bread was the best I've gotten from any restaurant. They even gave me corn bread for my son's to try and they were not disappointed we will definitely be back again. Worth the 45min drive!“

“This is hands down my favorite soul food spot in the tristate area! I come here often, and the food never misses — it’s always hot, fresh, and full of flavor. The staff treats you like family, and the atmosphere is so warm and welcoming. If I could eat here every day, I absolutely would!

Just look at my picture — the proof is in the plate! The portion sizes are generous (I always leave with leftovers), and the way everything is plated shows real care. You can truly feel the love in every bite.

“This was my first experience with soul food, and I was warmly greeted by the staff upon arrival with my friends. I ordered the Kai burger, fries, and cornbread. The Kai burger was reminiscent of a cheesesteak, and the cornbread was moist and flavorful.“

“Hole in the wall. Not about service. Its cheap fish fry. Not English style but Soul Food style. Sometimes can be a little too fishy, but overall 8/10 times its OK. $10 gets you a huge portion. Recommend: flounder and fry's. If you ask for any variations they can be touchy unless you make it clear you're willing to pay for any difference. Absolutely no diet drinks here.“

“First to start the restaurant is very clean. From the tables to the employees taking care of your food. Hospitality is there greet you as you walk in and even when you leave. Also you get a lot of food for the price. I love the whiting when I do come by and the spicy sauce is amazing to put on the food. Overall I give Delicious Dishes a 10/10

Kid-friendliness: It’s a family style restaurant so kids are welcome. No cursing or anyone being rowdy. Very polite to each other and the guest.

“I ordered a PB&J French toast. It comes with wings and sauce of your choice. I chose the honey buffalo sauce. The perfect combo of sweet and savory. Then my sweet tooth decided to kick in when I heard about their cupcakes. I bought a strawberry crunch cake cupcake. 10/10 would recommend!“

“I came here last year nice place good food. I again with my family a few days ago, the same little old Haitian lady remembered us, and we went all out. Ordered some good food I would recommend the fried pork (griot) and black bean sauce. Bought a bunch of patties and grapefruit jam and some homemade drinks.
