“Came in tonight for a meal and there was a wait so we asked if we could sit at the bar. We were told that there is no dining at the bar but we could sit and have a drink. So we waited but after about a half hour, we saw a large tray walked into the bar and two people were served food. I approached the hostess who said no one was allowed to eat at the bar but yet people were. This is horrible. We’ve been coming here for 20+ years but this was 100% not cool.“

“We just happened to stop by a nearby Goodwill and stopped to take a look at the menu. Decided to try 2 of the lunch specials. They were both delicious! “My go to for take out food. Even when busy, the food is ready in 30 minutes or less. The portions are generous especially for the prices in comparison to everything else out there. I have ordered from them numerous times in the food is consistent. Is it find dining, no. But it is very good take out Chinese food.

My only gripe is that they do not have a website where their menu is easily accessible for take out orders. The Google photos are ones taken from people's cell phone and are difficult to see. As such, I attached some photos that a higher resolution and more clear in hopes that it could help people out. Naturally, the prices may change but at least an interested customer could see what items they have on her menu to call in an order. Trust me, you will not be let down.“

“I typically from here through door dash. So the only rating I can give is on the food. I'm a creature of habit and get the same exact thing every time. Beef and broccoli we pfr, egg roll and crab Rangoon. Everything is very tasty. Eggrolls are a bit bigger than what you get elsewhere which I love. Rangoons are pretty standard. They're a little skimpy with the beef. The only thing I'm kind of iffy about is the pfr.... There's a different taste that I can't put my finger on. Chinese 5 spice maybe? You can definitely taste the clove which I don't hate.

“I'm from out of town and I discovered Ocean Buffet on Google Maps and I gave it a try on Thursday August 6, 2026. They had a good selection of my favorites which I was pleased. Plenty of seafood selections like shrimp and white fish. Lots of chicken: chicken this and chicken that. All very tasty. Chocolate ice cream for desert too. Ocean Buffet is a good deal when visiting Allentown. Stop in today.“

“The crab rangoons are on the sweeter side but are great. The shrimp toast was less shrimp flavor and more of a curry flavor but was still delicious. The steamed shrimp dumplings are made with a slightly thick and transparent wrapping which were cooked just right and served with a dumpling sauce. The beef lo mein was soft, flavorful, with tender beef. The Szechuan Beef was tender and savory, not sweet, however it wasn’t spicy. The wontons in the soup was made with a thick wrapper which I don’t personally like but the broth was a nice. Overall I would order from here again people were very nice and the food was great.“

“Lui's house is an Alkentown staple its been around a long time taking care of the west end of Allentown. I always get the boneless spare ribs. They are saucy and very juicy and not dried out like other places. They have really good sushomi there too. I was recently in there and the girl was so nice thank you for great service. Go try their barbecue boneless spare ribs for dinner combination for about 15 dollars.“

“We tried this place for the first time and the food was very good. I ordered the fried scallops and vegi fried rice and my husband got wings and rice. The broccoli in the rice was tender and the rice was fluffy. I do not like totally raw or very under cooked broccoli with my rice so I was a very pleased. The fried scallops were really good and even though they are sold as an appetizer, you get 10 so they are filling.The lady who was assisting us was very kind and we will definitely be going back! The location is small, so it is more of an order and take home or have delivered kind of place but they do have one small area with a bar top and a couple bar stools to sit while you wait“

“ive been looking for good Chinese food and they did great. Everything was flavorful and tasted fresh. We got beef teriyaki sticks, boneless spare ribs, golden fried chicken fingers, crab rangoon, veg low mein and egg rolls. Nicely seasoned and rich flavors. The meat was decent, although I did think the pork tasted dry. The filling for the crab rangoons was nice, wish there were more for the order. However, the chicken fingers actually came more as very small fried nuggets, and the meat inside was virtually a tiny morsel. I would still order here again. Best Ive had in the area.“

“The food was excellent we got wonton soup and two combo dishes the basil chicken and general tsos. It was some of the best Chinese take out I have had and extremely affordable. The staff was very friendly too. I saw previous reviews and believe they may have changed management or something because we were very surprised how good it was for the price. It’s our new go- to spot and I definitely recommend!“
