“The minute you walk in you know this pizzareia is different than others. Chris, the owners offers a warm funny welcome and you immediately feel like you are standing in your best friends kitchen. He told me he makes the “best pizza” and I took the challenge! I wasn’t even there to eat but meet someone in the parking lot. He offered for me to come in afterward and try a free slice. Instead I ordered two pies to take back to Delaware. While they were in the oven Chris was explaining all kind of things about the art of making pizza. Not to put it piping hot in the box or to leave the full pizza boxes on the top of the oven- tricks only someone who really knew their craft would care about. It was such a fun afternoon, and to think I only stopped in to grab a drink and get change. Oh, the pizza… the best! The crust is to die for- crispy and crunchy not doughy like a garlic knot. The sauce tasted authentic, not sweet like you find at our hometown Grottos. Delicious pizza- rivals NYC slices. A definite pizzeria for the connoisseurs out there and even those that just want damn good pizza! 🍕“

“This place is amazing, from the atmosphere of die hard Eagles fans to the nicest bartenders around. Really enjoyed the location and the fact that it had tvs all around the downstairs for different games. The food was amazing, first Philly Cheese Steak and it was really good, and well worth the price“

“Came here to say how wonderful the man is who owns this shop. He needs a boost too, as business has been slow. As many of the local convenience store owners have told me, I’m fairly certain he’s having trouble competing with places like Wawa. We as a community need to go support him if we want him to stick around.

He makes all his food himself. He stocks the shelves. He cleans the whole store. He does not hire for these tasks- rather he feels it’s his responsibility as a business owner to strive for excellence. He always remembers me and asks how my client is doing. Incredible cook, kind hearted man, and a local, high quality, family run business.

His wife passed last year I believe, and despite his grief his business never shut down. He has been here over 30 years. Can we as a community do anything to support this local business owner?! I don’t want to see such a loved convenience spot get beat out by another corporation.“

“First time here and we will definitely be back! The lemon pepper dry rub wings were amazing. Fries were not the greasy double fried fries. They were potato fries and were very tasty with the old bay. My husband and I each got chicken cheesesteaks. I had the buffalo chicken cheesesteak and my husband had the chipotle cheesesteak. Both were excellent. I really liked the rolls they use and they even toasted them. Give them a try!“

“Middletown is the quintessential small-town family pizzeria. Their food is consistently delicious, cooked perfectly, and delivered quickly. In my opinion, they make the best pan pizza in all of Media - always heavy on the cheese and melted just the right amount; no burnt crusts or browned cheese from these guys. In addition to their cheese pizza, their cheesesteaks on the Amoroso rolls and bacon cheese fries are phenomenal. Moreover, they beat everyone with their prices. High quality and high value; no other pizzeria around this area comes close to matching them. Highly recommend.“
