“Just went today. Very delicious food, I typically don’t like hibachi vegetables, but the flavor/sauces made me love the hibachi vegetables from here. I got the steak hibachi with noodles instead of rice- 10/10, very delicious. I also got the miso soup, which with this weather, was very comforting.

My boyfriend got sushi. He got the Dancing Eel sushi, and gave it a 8.5/10, and said it was very presentable and delicious.

The service was so nice, we were asked a few times how we were and what we needed, so that’s always amazing service! A family with children were here before us, and we watched their service and it was impressive. Everyone was so nice as well!“

“If you want to enter a whimsical world populated by dragons, unicorns and good sushi then go to Maya sushi! Their dragon roll is not only fresh and tasty (delicious rice) it’s served with a dragon statuette. I think we can all agree that eating sushi and looking at an adorable dragon is better than eating sushi and staring at no adorable dragons. And if you disagree then I’m sorry you have no happiness in your life.“

Not sure what type of crab is used, fairly certain it was not lump crab meat? We will try a different seafood entree or sandwich on our next visit & hope for better.“

“We got back from Japan a week ago and were missing the amazing food. Thankfully, my husband found Yukiyama. Wow! It was super authentic and we loved it. We ordered way too much food not thinking the portions would be Americanized. No matter. I'm happy to have leftovers for lunch this week. We loved the gyoza (dumplings). They were so soft, delicate and flavorful. They didn't need the sauce but the sauce was terrific. The pictures of their sushi looked good so I wanted to try it. The tuna roll was delicious and only $6. My husband loved his chashu (pork that tastes just like bacon) ramen. There were tons of noodles, huge pieces of pork and mushrooms. He really enjoyed it and was in the mood for ramen since we loved it so much in Japan. I got the chicken katsu (basically a cut up fried chicken cutlet or breast). It was so crispy, tender and flavorful. The portion was giant. It came with white rice, miso soup and the sweet and delicious katsu sauce that I love. We wi definitely be back to try other things when we come back out to Squirrel Hill. The man who brought out the food was so sweet. We miss Japan and found an amazing new spot.“

“It took me years to try this place which is sad because their sushi is amazing. I love the prices, the menu definitely has options but it isn’t overwhelming. I came in around 9:30 after craving sushi all day and the staff was friendly and quick to help out. They make the sushi right in front of you. It’s fresh even right before closing. They have a water machine while you wait for your food which isn’t much of a wait at all. The condiments bar was clean, the entire store was very clean. The decor is very cool and welcoming. I will have to come back.“

“I bought a mug from Burlington made by TMD. Not every product is perfect. It did say wash in cold water. Mine started chipping after I washed in warm water. I left my review with the chipped mug. They contacted me. Unfortunately I could not get a refund. But they stayed true to their customer. I really loved that mug. $5 pretty good price for it. “This was a nice very reasonably priced small sushi establishment. Parking however was a nightmare, so if possible walk to this location. The staff was very friendly and gave me a good recommendation. I had the Eye of the Tiger Roll and it was great. It was spicy but I like it that way and in my personal opinion if you’re not crying a little bit then it’s not spicy enough. Haha. Hopefully this helped with your selection. Overall, I would definitely recommend to come here for lunch.“

“I’ve been going here since this place was called Sushi Fuku back in 2017 and I gotta say I realllyyy miss it. Since Atarashis takeover I have not noticed any improvements, in fact the food got significantly more expensive and the service got much slower. You used to be able to order your food in line and watch them prepare it in front of you, with the ability to customize. Now, you order on a screen with limited ability to customize and often wait 10-15 mins for your food. The containers in which the food is served changed from small, cardboard like containers to large, plastic ones, which feels very wasteful. The quality of the food is good and I still come here a lot, but I will never forget the old Sushi Fuku“

“I recently ate at Kiku and the sushi was the best I have ever eaten. The sushi was fresh and delicious, as it has been every time I have eaten there. It is definitely the best sushi in the area. You can taste the true flavor of the fish without sauces or spices. At Kiku you will enjoy an authentic sushi experience that won't disappoint.“

“Umami is a vibe! The artwork, music, and service come together to create an incredible atmosphere. I’ve been there twice for dinner and absolutely loved the takoyaki (fried octopus balls, they were perfectly cooked. The gyudon (beef rice bowl) was just okay, but the rayu cucumbers were delightful and had the perfect crunch! It’s a great spot for a date night, especially with their shareable plates. You should definitely make a reservation before going!“

“Overall I would say this place is really good!! We did go back when it was first opening up, so I think there was some learning curves.. I am eager to get back and try it again!
Our waitress was very nice! Everything was explained to us very well.
We ordered appetizers- spring rolls and gyoza, both were very good!
When they came out, we ordered our first sushi, it took over 45 minutes for our first sushi to come out.
We ordered the yellowtail jalapeño and the dynamite roll.
Being honest, I didn’t care for the yellowtail jalapeño roll. The raw jalapeño over took the whole thing- that’s just my opinion though.
HOWEVER the dynamite roll, AMAZING.
Definitely the star of the show and I feel like I could have eaten 100 of them.
Unfortunately that’s all we got with our AYCE though because of how long everything was taking.
But my food was so good. So I highly recommend!

“The restaurant side of Golden Gai has finally opened, and it didn’t disappoint! Their takeout sushi was hit or miss (it got markedly better over time) but they clearly took the time to fine-tune the restaurant before opening, and I’m glad they did. The sushi (the golden roll) and small plates (spicy cucumbers, grilled chicken, and miso cod) were phenomenal. The drinks were on point also. Reservations are hard to come by, but if you’re okay with booking a few weeks out or eating a little later it’s not too hard to get one.“

“Taipei is by far the best sushi and Chinese restaurant in the Fox Chapel area. The servers are courteous and the specialty sushi rolls are noticeabley larger and tastier than Jimmy Wan's. In my opinion, Taipei also offers a better selection than Jimmy Wan's. We also appreciate Taipei's complimentary fried wontons served before each meal and orange slices provided at the end of service. This family-friendly restaurant always make us feel at home.“

We ordered the Singapore noodle combination, egg soup, Rangoon, shrimp egg rolls, beef and broccoli with fried rice and sweet and sour chicken with steamed white rice. The shrimp egg rolls are good just don’t count the shrimp (haha) but still it was delicious! The server was on point the chef made our dinner with care the staff was just amazing we also ate inside at a clean table covered with white linen. “Zen Asian Diner’s food is FANTASTIC! I waited through my whole pregnancy to have sushi and we ordered from here. IT WAS AMAZING! In the last week, I have had their sushi or sashimi three times! Their menu has a great variety of different Asian foods. My husband really enjoys their General Tso’s Chicken saying that it is way better than other places’. I did a pick up order on Door Dash & it was almost 12 at night I was at work, so I was lucky they were open so late. But I def am ordering again asap & I would recommend to anyone interested!“

“I have been dining here since at least about 2013 and I honestly enjoy my experience each and every time. Ten years later, and now a vegan, I order the “hot pepper tofu”, a variation of a go-to chicken dish that reminds why I continue to make the trek or pilgrimage to this day. Savory onions, heat from jalapeños, and sweet while comfortably searing chili sauce all come together for what I would probably have down for breakfast through dinner.
