“To me personally best cheese steak I've had so far! Many options to choose from on toppings and cheese, mine was around $17 but you get your money's worth - it's BIG. There are other things besides cheese steak and pretty sure they have drinks and beer. Order in the right window, when your order is ready they display your name on the screen and announce it on Mike/speaker and you pick up in the left window. It's CASH ONLY and there are no seats inside, some tables outside. We parked on the street and walked over, no designated parking lot. Staff was very nice. Highly recommend and definitely coming back!“

“I was never a big fan of cheesesteaks until I had one from Bobs! It was the absolute best. I tell everyone from out of town to go here over any other place they’ve heard about! I even travelled to Maryland with one for my dad and 4 hours later, it was still just as good!!!! My dad couldn’t stop talking about it. If you haven’t already I definitely recommend you go ahead and get a steak. You won’t regret it!“

“We traveled to Hershey, Pennsylvania for the Labor Day Week/Weekend from North Carolina. We tried a couple other cheese-steaks, by far Sonny’s Cheese Steaks were the best! Hope to one day make the 8 1/2 hour trip again! Fries were good too wit wiz!“

While most restaurants may not be as good as they used to be, it is the opposite for Tony & Nick's. They started at a very high level and seemed to exceed it.“

“When it comes to Philly cheesesteaks, I only knew the big names — Geno's Steaks and Pat's King of Steaks. When my cousin visited from the West Coast, one of my coworkers recommended we try Ishkabibble's too. We ended up tasting all three on the same day for a proper comparison, and Ishkabibble's came out on top.
The cheesesteak here was genuinely the best of the bunch — great flavor, quality ingredients, and clearly made with care. It was only later that I found out it's actually been featured on one of the Netflix shows, which honestly didn't surprise me at all.
If you're doing a Philly cheesesteak tour, don't skip this spot — it might just steal the show from the more famous names.“

“One word, Fantastic! Also huge with terrific ingredients and roll. Went with the cheese with onions which did not disappoint. Huge line and crowd but process was efficient and sandwich arrived faster than expected.

Tons of options here with something for everyone. Went on a Sunday afternoon with some places closed but still plenty of options for any taste. Fun place but crowded. Fortunately atmosphere is chill and venue is worth exploring and definitely worth a trip! Am guessing a lot of locals come here for all the great options.“

As I traveled here, I didn’t know what to expect because I don’t know of any good , cheap food spots in this exact area right off the Blvd. Ain’t the best part of Philadelphia but there is security cameras inside & the 2 staff members were nice . I ate half of the platter first & gave my stomach some time to decide if it agreed. The cheesesteak was hot & I asked for crispy fries & they were .
For the food you get , the prices are CHEAP. Like 2019 cheap. Leave a TIP the place is ?in the rough.“

“I had family in from Connecticut. Our plan was to do DiLasandro's but...you can't eat inside and it's a 45 minute wait. We went across the street to Chuby's. We were not disappointed! The cheesesteaks and chicken cheesesteaks were great! And...the fries...the best I've had in a long time...crispy and delicious! If you insist on DiLasandro's...waiting 45 minutes and then going somewhere to eat it...I understand. However, if you want to sit down...and have fries with ZERO wait for a table...(DiLasandro's only has bags of chips) go for it. But...to me...I'd give Chubby's a 4!!!“

“After a long bus ride, I found myself hungry and distraught. I only had fifteen minutes to find dinner, and the closest Dunkin had already closed. Out of the corner of my eye, a red Philly Steak and Pizzeria sign glimmered ethereally, like an angel who departed from heaven to bless the churning city. Pizza would be convenient and filling, I thought to myself as I turned to cross the street and headed toward the restaurant. A kind gentleman greeted me as I entered through the talk glass doors and ordered a slice of pepperoni. This request prompted him to remove a slice from the display and slide it smoothly into the cavernous oven beside him. Its warmth brushed by me as he closed the oven door.

I watched the cars drive and people mosey by; all engulfed in the rush and clamor of the city street.

Pepperoni! The gentleman suddenly called, as I turned to see the warm slice lying gracefully on a paper plate and napkins that he held.

Thank you so much! I said, as I hurriedly grabbed the plate and headed to the door. Of course. Have a great night! He replied as I exited and headed straight back to Jefferson station.

As I waited for my train, I savoured the delicate slice I held—the wholesome crust layered with delicate tomato sauce and exquisite cheese—adorned with perfectly seasoned pepperoni on top. I finished the slice as my train came, and boarded with a full belly and a smile.“
