“I just held a 40th birthday party at Lock 29. Everything was great. The space was perfect, everyone raved about the food and cake (some people said it was the best cake they’ve ever had!), The servers were awesome, they made sure everyone had what they needed and did a great job keeping things organized and clean throughout! I would recommend parties here to any of my friends and family! Everything was exactly what I wanted!!“

The food was good but it was the service that truly made the experience memorable. Our bartender Shannon, couldn’t have been more accommodating! She was super friendly, charismatic and her attentiveness was remarkable! From remembering what we had to drink, to bringing us refills without us having to ask, to going above and beyond to make sure our kids were happy and content. Numerous guests acknowledged how great Shannon's service was. Great venue! Great food! Outstanding service! “My 2nd trip here. Both times I was very happy with the food. The sweet potato fries were quite the surprise, definitely not what one would expect. My chicken tenders BLT was very tasty.

The room is small not sure it hits the cozy vibe.

My only real complaint is that it bothers me when I go to a place to sit, relax, maybe have a coffee or cocktail ( no alcohol here) and the staff is wearing a political statement on their shirts. I go out to stay away from politics.

Still, the staff is very friendly and attentive. They do a good job when it's busy.“

“Giovanni’s is one of our go tos for family dinners out. The food is always excellent with generous portions. We recently went for a birthday where we had 10 people and had a great experience with our server Tosh who kept up with all our requests and making sure everyone had a great experience especially our birthday boy. My only caution is the restaurant can be cold so if you’re like me you might want to bring a sweater. If you’re like my husband you will be in heaven.“

“Excellent food whenever I go. Everything seems fresh. I had turkey club which had great turkey and was fresh, the turkey seemed not to be cold cuts and wet, but more like real turkey. The fries are decent but most likely frozen so nothing special I'd get again.

The chicken tenders are good but too much breading in my opinion.

“Was pleasantly surprised by this terrific diner. The atmosphere is very friendly and the big portions are delicious. Great selection of fresh desserts, made both on the premises and Shady Maple in Lancaster. Salad bar had a huge fresh variety of salad toppings. Katie, our server, was a delight. Staff is very attentive, anticipating needs. I will definitely be back; I saw quite a few things on the menu I would like to try. I got the Bab’s Fries, which are fries topped with cut up chicken and their house “Baba’s Sauce.” The fries were good quality, the chicken was very flavorful- I got the no heat cause it was already close to 100° outside and I didn’t need any more heat that day (lol), and I was expecting the chicken may not be heavily seasoned without the hot chicken seasoning but I was wrong! The chicken tasted like it had been marinated and seasoned, and the exterior coating was top notch! I’ve had Asad’s too- which is also good but I think this is much better and much more flavorful! The Baba’s Sauce was also very tasty! I will definitely be back to try more! Glad I made a last second decision to give this spot a try!“
