The food at this establishment was exceptionally well seasoned and absolutely delightful. The prices were quite reasonable, making it a great value for money. “New local halal food spot located on Cottman Ave near Castor Ave by the Sunoco gas station. Reasonably priced fresh food platters with a variety of tasty choices to choose from some as low as $5! $5 is a great price for those on a budget. I got the Mac and cheese/ fried chicken combo and the sauce it comes with is so yummy! It was pretty good. Also got the fish over rice with the garlic sauce it comes with a small salad as well. Fish was lightly breaded and cooked well. I will visit this spot again for sure to try out the other menu items!“

But the past several times I returned -- 5 ***** The staff is very good well informed on how they would want to be treated at the good old chic fil A, or anywhere. It means a lot to the customer. We're ALL customers somewhere. We all share that piece, that understanding. It's full circle. 🐥 fries are back to being much better, and the service on point and the food still great otherwise the chicken sandwiches and sauces and condiments the whole thing. They tasted more instant this time too. I appreciate the biscuit being softer and not hard as a brick as per their usual. “I can not recommend this chicken enough. I had been carefully plotting where I was going to eat my lunch on Monday 5/12 in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic. I had heard Krispy Krunchy was good - but I didn't know it was this good. I ordered the chicken sandwich. The roll - warm, flavorful existed in perfect symbiosis with the breading on the chicken - which reminded me of my grandmother's southern fried chicken, each little twist of breading an explosion of flavor and spice. Inside, the chicken tasted like it had just been shot this morning, clearly fresh and not frozen. And the buffalo sauce -tangy and hot, and certainly better than Popeye's. The gem was something else though - the honey butter biscuit which coexisted in unison with the perfect sandwich and fresh french fries. A tip: dip the biscuit in the honey mustard - which is the best honey mustard I've ever had. This was such a good lunch that I'm considering coming back tomorrow. And the next day. Whether you're a hungry Villanova student, or a family of five, I can not recommend this enough.“
