“Was very good meal. Had a cheesesteak with works and mushrooms and it was very good. Better than most. Fries were hot and crisp. My friend who gets burgers everywhere we go had a TK burger deluxe I think it was and loved it. He also had onion rings and said they were very good too. Definitely worth the stop !“
“Always looking forward to the absolute best French Onion soup I've ever had! Amazing robust flavor! The server is always friendly & helpful. Don't let the small strip mall location fool you, this place is fulfilling every taste bud on your bucket list. Don't forget to take home some yummy deserts.“
“We took the motorcycle out for a nice "long way" ride today. Live in Northeast Philly. Picked this place thru a random Google search. 80 miles each way. Almost 5 hours of riding. Loved it. As far as Minisink goes, we'll definitely come back. I hate flashy, prefer simple comfortable environments. That's why i loved it here. Nestled on the creek bed. Just felt like a nice place with a nice crowd. Food was great. French onion soup, wings, burger and Roast Beef w/cheddar. All tasted simply homemade. You know, damn good. We'll be up again.Parking: PLENTY of parking. Huge lot across the way. We rode our bike up. Plenty parking for bikes too. Just pull up to the front.“
“We had teddys for lunch and must say the cheese steak was one of the best you can get. I got a cheese steak before with their wiz and really wasn't really impressed, but this time I got it with american cheese and it changed everything. It was packed and not alot of seating can be tight, but if your the pocono area I think they have the best cheese steak.“
“We stayed here for a weekend to celebrate my wife's birthday. We were not disappointed. The place is historic and old as dirt. But they've done a wonderful job preserving this great venue. Hardly a bad seat in the house. For the 2 nights we were here, the music was top notch. The food is remarkably yummy, the service is great and the people and vibe is fantastic. Our room was cozy and the bathroom updated. The surrounding area makes for a nice place to wander. If you're a big jazz fan or clueless, this is simply an enjoyable experience.“
“A small hidden gem, just right outside the downtown Stroudsburg area. This place is fantastic.. I have visited many times and every time it has not disappointed at all. The food was delicious, streak was cooked perfectly.. the various wings and sauces are amazing from mild to hot and everything in between, the pizza was crispy! as well as the stromboli...! and the specials are worth trying every time. I do want to emphasize that the drink selection as amazing as well. Try a cocktail.. and u will not be disappointed will go back anytime i need something different from downtown...“
“Come up from NC to visit with family and this is one of the must stop places to go for a great breakfast or lunch...the Chef and waitress keep the place hopping...and the added chance of watching a small plane take off or a glider just adds to the atmosphere...You will NOT be disappointed....Enjoy!!“
“I grew up going to Lewis's Drive-In because it was close to my childhood home so I have been a long time customer. I was always impressed at the selection of ice cream flavors, and the service. I can say that the renovation of Lewis's knocked my socks off. The entire shop looks terrific. I love the design of the playground. It is completely constructed to fit precisely in the area. The picnic tables are well done , and there is a lot of seating room. It is like I never even remembered what the old Lewis's looked like before renovation.i also always liked the menu of salty food, and the sandwiches. I ordered some salty food and it was tasty. I would come back, and maybe bring some friends this summer!!Kid-friendliness: A whole playground“
“This is a nice place for good down-home food. It's hard to find a place that makes homemade food.I went with a group of people , some have been here before, and rest were first-timers . Everyone enjoyed their meals, and even had too much!“
“The food was incredible. Well trained, friendly, and knowledgeable staff who didn't rush you but were really available for any needs in a packed environment that still had enough room to enjoy the experience without being pushed or bumped into. Portions were more than generous for the price. Well worth the trip. I reserved a spot at the bar for me & my wife and would happily do it again. A truly great place.“
“Traveling through Jersey, looking for a place for lunch. Found Uncle Buck's. The nice Young lady says find a seat. Comes over takes our drink order, the first thing you notice this is filled with local regulars. You step back in time. It's such a wonderful atmosphere, having people talking and asking how the family, as first timers you get the friendly look from all the regulars and everyone goes back to business. Ordered a turkey bacon club and a roast beef club. You again travel back, a fully packed sandwich of roast beef, bacon (perfectly cooked) lettuce and mayonnaise on toasted white bread. The turkey club was just as packed full. Something you don't get in some of the bigger places. Top everything off with a root beer soda and they give you a small bag of chips. Prices were on point. Nothing fancy and to wait for service is not a problem, because I would also spent time with my locals that frequent this place for a good number of years. You can sit and listen to the local people and their stories. Great diner, great food and great people. I can't wait to go for breakfast. Give them a try...“
“We go there fairly often, whether for lunch on a Saturday, or maybe at night for dinner and live music. Food is always good, and so is the service. Wings are excellent too!Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchairs can enter through the front door.“
“First time in the Hutch. Was very happy to see the improvements from previous Hutch existence. Reasonably priced beverages in great friendly atmosphere. Game room attached with pool table, quiot boards, and corn hole. Nice bar area and overall very clean.“
“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Sarah Street Grill, and I must say, the experience exceeded my expectations. One of the highlights of my visit was indulging in their sushi, which was nothing short of delicious. Each bite was a delightful blend of fresh ingredients and expert craftsmanship, leaving me craving more.During my time at Sarah Street Grill, I also learned an interesting tidbit about the origin of the restaurant's name. A teacher mentioned to me that "Sarah" was the daughter of Stroudsburg, which is the combination of three names of the city in Pennsylvania. This charming anecdote added an extra layer of significance to my dining experience, making it feel even more special and rooted in the local community. In addition, I had the pleasure of toasting to a husband and wife who are expecting a new addition to their family! It was heartwarming to hear that his wife is about three months pregnant, and I couldn't help but feel a sense of joy and celebration in the air. This news further enriched my experience at Sarah Street Grill, making it an unforgettable evening filled with delicious food, warm ambiance, and the shared excitement of new beginnings.I must also give a shout out to Krista, my server, who made excellent suggestions on the drinks. Her attentive service and friendly demeanor truly enhanced my dining experience, and I'm grateful for her expertise and hospitality. Cheers to Krista and the entire team at Sarah Street Grill for an unforgettable evening!“
“I came here for lunch and was very satisfied. I ordered the ten pieces of boneless wings with atomic sauce meal. It came with a fountain drink and a side. I took mashed potatoes for unknown reasons. The store is clean, well lite, and has decent music. It is located in a shopping plaza with many other reasons to be in the area. I dined in and completely enjoyed the experience. The bathroom was clean and unisex.Parking: TightWheelchair accessibility: Not easy in“
“We've been to Riverside Bar & Grill a couple of times during the week. The atmosphere is low key unless football or an event is going on. There's one excellent gentleman that waits and bartends in an attentive, professional, and personable manner. The food is higher-end quality bar food: burgers, clams, pierogies, etc. There's also salad and a very good stuffed Portobello mushroom appetizer. The staff seem friendly and it's a nice location being right on the river. Also, the building itself looks neat with 100+ year old exposed beams.Dietary restrictions: I asked for no onions or peppers, and there were no onions or peppers in my food.Wheelchair accessibility: Small step up, but bar, restaurant and bathroom are on the first floor. They may have a ramp entrance that I didn't notice“
“This place is so good. Been here many many times and they never disappoint. The female bartender was friendly and welcoming as always- with that being said I ordered the winter white cosmo and boy was it delicious, festive and top notch ! Love love loveKid-friendliness: Cute nook in the back perfect for families with kids.“
“My wife I are out of town and waiting for our room to be ready on a mini vacation. This place was tucked in off the main roads to be quiet but close enough to be wonderful. Decent amount of parking. Walking in on our first time you can choose the upstairs dining area or downstairs tavern. It was a touch windy to sit out on the two patios they have but would be great during a warm spring day, summer time or early fall to eat, drink, talk next to the small creek. Both levels have a full bar and draft beer from Shawnee Craft with bottles of mainstream beer. We chose the spacious downstairs tavern, we were greeted by Todd the bartender and presented both food and drink menus. The food the cooks made is wonderful. Wood fired salmon with crisp vegetables was so good that my wife cleared her plate. The burger and fries I got was juicy and fresh the fries were crisp. Todd knows his drinks and is very astute in bourbon. On our way out we talked to Jamie the manager on duty and she talked to us about some of the history and general information of the venue. All the people were very polite, and extremely friendly. We will definitely be going back when we’re in the area again!!!“
“Sweet Creams Cafe is truly a gem for great ice cream and a casual tasty meal! A word of advice, order the homemade lemonade. It’s so delicious, not overly sweet, and you can taste the freshness. My absolute favorite order though is the chicken Caesar salad with homemade dressing. It’s what salad dreams are made of! Perfectly chopped, perfectly seasoned, and overall just so delicious! I couldn’t recommend this place more for a great lunch in the heart of Stroudsburg.“
“Of all the places you can eat in this area & Poconos, make sure you make your way here! Trust me.? This was my favorite restaurant . The first time was for dinner & everything was so delicious that we came back for brunch another day.? the ambiance & atmosphere is beautiful. Great decor.? our waitress was amazing. Always had a smile on? our favorite dish was the jerk chicken Mac & cheese! It’s made perfectly. Got it 2X!? the Sage cornbread was delicious! Loved the strawberry butter.? Aprils steak salad was great. Very filling & flavorful? The espresso martini was alright.?I preferred the dinner menu over the brunch.? the avocado toast was nice, yet simple...?I love you a waffle A lot was alright. Honestly, it needed more flavor. So we asked the waitress to give us syrup & butter for that.? the flower tea pot was pleasant?candle on the wind: it was alright. I tasted a bit of a syrup and was hoping it was more authentic...Overall, I definitely recommend dinner. It’s a wonderful place to enjoy a great meal in a very nice environmentVegetarian options: Many Options availableDietary restrictions: Options availableParking: Metered parking. After certain hours it’s freeKid-friendliness: Family friendly. Nice environment, there’s something for everyone.“
“While the food was good, two important comments. One is that we were annoyed by small flies during our meal indoors. So that's something that should be addressed. Secondly, the server did not point out to me that the gratuity had been included on our bill. (6 people) While I understand this is my responsibility, and I'm glad I caught it by requesting a copy of the itemized check, an honest server would point it out and make sure you are aware.“
“3/17/23 third time here.I came here with my group (both previous times as well). We had a good time and the food was good. Very friendly staff and i need to return sooner, such a hidden gem.I had seafood bisque, hot pretzels, Sheppard's pie and a chocolate Bundt cake for dessert. All good. Will return to try other dishes.“
“We love the Willowtree! Food is absolutely delicious and you can tell Chef put thought and care into his menu. There was nothing we didn’t like! Service is top notch with attention to detail and efficiency adding to our wonderful meal. The view off the deck is beautiful and adds to an amazing ambiance. We will definitely be back!“
“Outstanding Customer Service !This place has an amazing warm atmosphere!Every Staff Member I had an opportunity to speak with was very polite and engaging !The food came out great but I was Extremely surprised with the Quality of the French Onion Soup !If you are in town, u won't be disappointed!I recommend this restaurant ? !“
“I used to lifeguard at Land of Make Believe when I was in high school and college. This was my go to breakfast sandwich spot. Very good bagels and the coffee was good too. It's been a few years though, I'm definitely going to have to go back soon“
“Our first time eating here last night before we bowled. Wow, our food was absolutely delicious !!! The salads were fresh and crisp, my pasta was top notch and the burger was huge and delicious . Alyssa our waitress was helpful and friendly. We will be back :)“
“My husband, mom. and I went to dinner at Wander Inn Bar. Expecting typical bar food, but we were nicely surprised by the menu options. Better yet were the portion sizes and taste. Some of the items we had were meatloaf and mashed potatoes, a cheesesteak quesadilla, and cream of brussel sprout soup. All delicious. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff.Parking: Small parking lot behind bar or across the street in store parking lotWheelchair accessibility: Not wheelchair accessible“
“I really enjoyed the service but, what I experienced was an awkward moment where the chef came from the kitchen and berated the bartender loudly and disrespectively. I was with my children. And they heard the chef loudly put down the bartender over specials.“
“If I could give 10 stars for each category I absolutely would. Ate here 3 out of 6 days we were on vacation. The BEST BBQ brisket/macaroni and cheese and greens you're gonna find on the East coast. Stop sleeping on Mad Apples. This place is amazing, the chefs are superb and the atmosphere is everything you want in a laid back vacation spot. Chef Shaina please come to Philly, we will appreciate you here.“
“They pick up the phone every time to take your order. Some places don't once it gets close to closing time. Their steak sandwiches are the bomb and fairly priced. I recently ordered a pepperoni calzone from them and I wasn't expecting what I got. Great tasting and humongous! Biggest calzone I've ever seen. My wife and I enjoyed every bite. Even had some for lunch today.“
“Classic diner! We ordered burgers with a gyro quesadilla for an appetizer. Service was fast and attentive, and the food was superb. Definitely made passing through the highlight of our trip!Parking: Appears to be space for about 15 cars?Kid-friendliness: Happy kids in the diner!“
“I never got her name, but this waitress that served me and my friends was one of the most beautiful women I've ever seen in my life. I made her an origami tulip out of paper. She looks like a beautiful princess ❤️ (oh, and the food is good)“
“Always Great! It's always a little chilly so I remember to wear a sweater but the food is so good that it never really matters. Scrapple is always good and fried just right. And I love the macaroni salad. All the dinner menu items are fresh, tasty and generous. All Diner foods can't be beat but Beseckers is our "Go To Place"!“
“Love the Stroudsburg location anytime opening to 3 pm. The food is great when served up by RUSS, the chief cook and man behind the fresh meal presentation. We stopped by today around 5 pm and we noticed the vast difference in food. Our baked potato was browned from yesterday's batch reheated and carbed(dense) through. The asparagus arrived steamed in this reddish sauce, was it pulled from another plate? And Julie added a bunch of prices that were not related to our 55 menu. Thanks to Steve for editing the numbers for a better total.Although a few hiccups, this franchise serves decent foid for reasonable prices.BTW: slice of pie & a drink/$5.49. Can't beat it. ??“
“We had a taste for oxtail and decided to see if our other spot was still in business. With our google search this came up. I decided to read the reviews. The person who comes from Allentown gave us the courage to try this spot. We were concerned that at 3:45 pm the oxtail would be gone. To our surprise they were well stocked and bustling. The food was excellent. We chose 2 xl orders of oxtails with various sides: cabbage, greens, plantains, rice and peas. Oddly enough the cabbage was a little crunchy, but boy was it tasty. This is our new spot. I think the value is good for the price. The pic below is the food before we crushed. The second pic is after we crushed the first meal.“
“So I never been to derailed since it had opened but this was a good spot to check out our bartender Raquel was professional and friendly She made me and my guest feel very at ease. Above n beyond customer service where it was as if we were friends and not customers I appreciate Raquel and can’t stop talking about the exceptional service“
“Food is amazing, I'm always pleased with the service and flavor, lots of quality control. I can always expect quality carribean cuisine when visiting. As the name say " just good food". That is what you'll get. Price Is very affordable. Energy is always good. I love the mother and daughter team. It's always great to work closely with family. Shout out to the chef in the kitchen who's behind the curtain. Keep doing yall thing. I'm raising kids on this food right here.“
“Fun environment, friendly staff that make you feel at-home. Very much a small town bowling alley vibe, but in a great wayTheres a bar and restaurant attached, haven't gotten the food but it seems convenientThe bowling itself is rather modern, theres a touch screen scoreboard and you can even text chat with the other lanes!“
“Great food, great service, great atmosphere! We had tiramisu, berry merengue and coffee and no complaints, only wish I had a bigger stomach to finish mine in one sitting. The shop was cozy and inviting, the employee who helped us was cheerful and timely. Great experience! We’ll be stopping in again if we come back to the “
“We were looking for a place to go for Easter that wasn’t terribly expensive and we could make reservations for 8. Siamsa was having a buffet for $19.95 for adults and $13.95 for kids. For $20/person you shouldn’t expect much, but it was fantastic! Staff was super nice; food was excellent! Waffle & omelette stations, fresh fruit & pastries, hot foods including creamed chipped beef and all the regular breakfast foods you’d expect but so delicious! We’ll definitely go back for Mother’s Day!“
“Chloe greeted us for Brunch and seated us at a quaint table with a view! Lovely brunch with Walter serving omelettes to order; Charlie kept the coffee coming, THE executive chef, Herb, stopping by to say hello☀️We had dinner the night before, and Herb had made steaks that were sumptuous! Such a beautiful homey atmosphere with the signature Kirkwood kindness❤️ Thank you, Family???“
“The food was amazing, priced right. Debbie our server was super friendly and very informative about the history of the lodge. So much history and so beautifully kept. The body Mary was on point and the steak was delicious. Will definitely be back.“
“Been here a bunch of times, food is always on point and as far as service goes we almost always get Kendra as a server and she's the biggest reason we always return, attentive, polite and just makes the meal more enjoyable. She is also great with my daughter which is an even bigger plus !“
“Great restaurant! We stopped here on the way to NY city and we loved it! You walk in and you see a fridge with the raw ribeye steaks in it! You pick the one you want and than you sit at your table to view the rest of the menu! Our server Isabella was really nice and attentive! Atmosphere is just as you would except, very western!“
“Good food and service. Everytime I went I always had a pleasant experience. I know that my daughter hates seeing the dead animal heads on the wall .. lol but I enjoy eating here. Also, if I'm not mistaken. I believe they only take cash BUT there is an ATM on site, only problem is the extra fees you get charged.“
“We came in tonight on a Thursday not realizing it was wing night and probably one of the busiest nights. The tables were full but they made sure to clean them as fast a possible to get us seated quick. Our server was wonderful and extremely fast even with how busy they were. The wings were probably the best we've had in the entire area. The owner Carl was beyond friendly and worked very hard to make sure everyone was happy and having a good time. Carl was great with our little boy and made his whole night. We will definitely be coming back!“
