“My husband and I went to Almost Home last evening on the way home from Pittsburgh to Altoona. I love white pizza and let me tell you….the white pizza with bacon and onions is phenomenal! The crust was perfect, the cheese was outstanding and the toppings were abundant.“

“Requires reservations! The dining area is beautiful and small but spread apart far enough you have privacy, it's a very cozy environment. The food was amazing! Very fresh, the is fine dining, the servers were very nice and helpful! The owners were great! I can't stop thinking about the food. It was seriously so good. It was our first night out after our daughter was born in July 2022. We were exhausted parents of two looking to have a nice dinner. To my surprise, this was also the location of my proposal. They brought out champagne and this place will forever be my favorite place. I may not stay in Pennsylvania forever but it'll always be my favorite restaurant“

“We ate here when we were passing through. To say we were pleasantly surprised is an understatement. The food was fantastic and our waitress was amazing. We clearly wandered in just as some kind of major event was kicking off. In spite of that, the service was swift and accurate, and the manager/owner even wandered by to make sure our meal as good (it was). Everything from the appetizer to dessert was great. Unfortunately, we aren't likely to be back in that area, but if we are, we're eating here again.“

“Dave and his family have taken such great care of this building. It's no longer smoking which I am okay with as a former smoker, but the original vintage ashtrays are still in pristine condition in the bathrooms brings back the nostalgia of my 20s ??? thanks again “

“Had to take my dog to the Ebinsburg hospital for surgery, which is about and hour and a half away from home. We were recommended to go here for breakfast. The parking lot was full when we got there and just then you knew it must be good food. We both got the 2x2x2 breakfast and it was very good. The food was cooked perfectly and had that home cook feel to it. We didn't have to wait long and the service was great, prices definitely reasonable. If I'm ever back up this way again, I'll be sure to stop back in again. Highly recommend!“

“Great place to eat, shoot pool, and enjoy trivia night. I had the jalapeno burger which was worth it, and the stromboli looked good and was massive, all for a great price. I also tried the fresh made pastries, which I believe were ginger with cream on the inside, very moist and sweet. The beer selection was decent, with plenty of IPAs to choose from.“

“It's so hard to pick a favorite menu item. My go-to is ALWAYS the twisted Hawaiian aloha pizza. I've never had a pizza that good before. The chicken philly(forget what they call it) is out of this world. Today we tried the Buffalo chicken breadsticks and OMG game changer!!! So good! The staff is great and the owner is so super nice! My 6 yr old is obsessed with the kids pizza - comes with fries and a Kool Aid drink. He loves having his "own meal". Thanks guys, keep it up!“

“This is a very small and a little run-down place, but my husband and I loved it. We have only gone two times so far, but did not have a bad experience either time. The first time was just my husband and I. The waitress recommended the Buffalo chicken fries, so we got them. We each got a burger (which they get locally), and since they come Ala cart, we figured why not. These fries came out on a huge platter smothered in chicken, cheese, and so much gooey goodness. They were AWESOME! We could not finish since we also ordered breaded mushrooms and cheese curds as well. No idea there would be so many fries. They are very good reheated too...surprising for fries. The burgers were also excellent. Fresh made patties, not frozen. This place is definitely a hidden gem. We took my son this past weekend, and he loved it as well.“

“First time here, and the food was good. The specials sounded great. Got the steak tips over mashed potatoes and noodles, and it's pretty good for a bar. The drink menu was also nice. It looked like they had a full bar, so you could order whatever mix drink you'd like. The only downside was when using the bathroom, there is no toilet stall door, and the main door doesn't lock, so if you gotta go number two, be ready to say hello to new friends. Other than that, this place is huge and could host a nice party, or dj, or live bands, a very cool atmosphere.“

“One of the best Strombolis in Central PA if not the best. I get the Italian Stromboli every time I'm there and it never disappoints. Really big for a "small" and great price. A small will easily feed 2 people. Take out or eat in its always awesome Boli!“

“You can't judge a book by it's cover. This isn't the nicest, biggest, fanciest building on the block but man do they have some good sammiches. I stumbled across their menu while searching for an eatery for our visit to Johnstown and this menu had a group, and a budget friendly menu. If I didn't have GPS on I would have passed this place, we never expected this little establishment to serve such great food. Between four of us, and two visits, there wasn't a menu item we didn't like.“
