“The servers here are great. Both ladies that took care of us were very friendly and made great suggestions. The food is great and they have a huge selection. Highly recommend. One thing to note is the steep stairs you have to climb to get to the main entrance. This may be difficult for a handicap person.“

“Open for breakfast and lunch. The diner can get very busy starting mid-morning, especially on the weekend. Food is always hot, flavorful, and tasty. Reasonable prices. Service is prompt, and the staff are friendly. The Freedom Square Diner is one of my favorite spots to grab a bite, especially breakfast.“

“I was pleasantly surprised. My husband got two of the specials - beef vegetable soup (which tasted very close to my home made beef vegetable soup) and the DK mushroom Swiss burger. I had the battered onion rings and western burger. So much food, I took home left overs. And it was absolutely delicious.The service was great, friendly and personable.The restaurant was very cute, small and clean.I didn't enter the bar, but I might go back to check that out.“

Everyone knows Burrell Inn is the best.It's connected to a bar so you get some cigarette smell, but still worth it.This last time we ate outside in the little courtyard. It's cozy out there and fun. “Always love Bob's. I've never been to the other locations, but the Tarentum location has never been a disappointment. Staff is always friendly & helpful. I always get the chicken salad (not Bob's way). In fact, this is one of my favorite chicken salads! I do not like celery, or anything else that crunches when you bite it, so I love that the 'crunchies' are chopped tiny, so they don't really crunch when I eat it. My husband has tried several (all Bob's way), and all have been good.“

“It was very consistent great food and service at one point.. but the last handful of times, the food has tasted old. Had my husband get me a cup of chicken noodle soup today as I am feeling ill. There was barely any chicken, NO vegetables in it whatsoever and full of old strange tasting noodles. The fries also left a very odd aftertaste too. Not sure why in the world they have crinkle fries... Gross!“

“Took my 4 year old granddaughter there for her birthday because she wanted chicken noodle soup. Even though the soup was great, there weren't the typical big noodles that kids like. When the waitress came and I told her that, she brought a Togo container where she fished out all the big noodles. My granddaughter was so happy. Every seat had a good view of a tv with the football game on. Staff was friendly, and they even had some free pizza at halftime (during the steeler game) which was also delicious.“
