We always order their pirogies because they are the best in the area we love them as well as the pizza. The price is very affordable and wait time is the fastest around as well. We love the Sicilian pizza most and also often order pepperoni, bacon, ham and plain cheese. They are always friendly asking how we are and making sure we are happy with our purchases. They are also amazing when it comes to delivery. We’ve had it delivered to our home and a few parks in town while playing outside. I’ve never waited more than 20/25 mins for my food. It’s 45 mins to an hour on average everywhere else for delivery.“

Growing up in west New York and coming off a recent trip to Italy, I didn’t assume this pizza would be much.My assumption was dead wrong. The crust is thin and crispy on the edges while firm enough to hold the slice together throughout. The cheese is melted and blended with the toppings very well. “Sal's is a family tradition to us, so we make the hour ride and go every year in February for our late family members birthday. This year the service was awful. Each one of us got our meal at a different time, we didn't get silverware to eat with, no one came back and asked if we needed anything. The food was just alright. Stuffed shells were lacking ricotta, pizza sauce was bland, soup tasted like from a package.I just don't think our tradition will continue at Sal's. ?“

The location is so beautiful, filled with antiques, art and old world charm. We have visited several times and it is truly a magical experience. “Tried Pizza Chef for dinner last night. It's housed in a very unassuming building so you have to know it's there to find it. We were greeted by a very friendly waitress who told us to sit anywhere we wanted, we picked a table and sat. The waitress came immediately and brought menus and ice water. I liked her already. I saw there was Chicken Francese on the menu so I asked if the chef could make it with Veal instead and she said certainly. Salads and rolls came first. The salads were large and very fresh. The rolls were nice and warm. Then the entree. Very large portions of veal on top of angel hair pasta with a perfectly seasoned white wine lemon butter sauce. So good! I'll be back to try the Chicken Francese soon.“

“We don't go here often but when we do they always serve up solid, consistent diner food. On our last visit we were with a large group and got a variety of things. The burgers were really tasty and my mother was a huge fan of the fries which were crispy on the outside and mushy on the inside. Server was very attentive. My only complaint is we were seated by the kitchen and they have bins there for dishes which made the spot very noisy. Definitely a worthy stop if you are in the neighborhood.“

The veggie Stromboli was THE BEST I EVER HAD and this quickly rose to the top of my list for take out Thursdays for my family!My kids enjoyed the red sauce on their pasta! The garlic knots were 9/10!I want to also mention 2 other important things that stood out to me. Firstly the food was fast and hot :) the other is the restaurant was SO CLEAN! Like hospital clean. I’m from NY, big pizza guy, love a good crisp in my crust, and a pizza that doesn’t flop. I came back here on a date, and y’all…that food was so good. The hands making the dough are the hands of a pizzaola, who understands the science of such a seemingly simple thing to make.The crust is perfectly balanced, chewy and crisp, bubbles airy, unlike the majority of pizza places that take short cuts and don't use quality ingredients,,and often keep oven temps too low to make a good pie.The tomatoes must be San Marzano, as they should be, for that fresh and fruity sauce - and not too much - against the perfectly stringy and chewy mozz, creating that perfect harmony of artistry. From the soup to unlimited salad & garlic bread sticks to every dish we ordered, it was scrumptious. Their chefs are consistent in the quality & delicious tastes of their food. My only objection (a small one) was that they do not take reservations but do have a call ahead waiting list - if you arrive within 30 minutes of calling. Also, their (bar) drinks are limited. Attempted to order an "old fashion" with rye, but they only had bourbon. All in all, it was a delicious meal with great service. I WOULD HAVE GIVEN 5 STARS BUT FOR THE LACK OF DINNER RESERVATION.Parking: Plenty of free parking in their adjacent large parking lot.Kid-friendliness: Kids go there with their family to celebrate their birthdays.Wheelchair accessibility: Wide entrance doors and plenty of table space to accommodate wheelchair patrons.“

“Great food and service here today (March 30). We had the lunch special of stuffed shells which came with bread and the small house steak sandwich with a full separate side of onion rings. The onion ring portion was large. Everything was great tasting and well priced. Our server was fabulous.“
