“Absolutely the Best Chinese food I’ve had in a long time. The food was amazing. Huge portions and the service was great. The only thing off was the place is set up like it’s Covid still and the seating was all blocked off. Two stars taken away for that on atmosphere. The staff was really friendly and asked twice to make sure I ordered the right thing. Definitely recommend.“
“Parking: Their parking lot is typically as full as the restaurant, if it's packed then so is the restaurant. That said, I've never had to wait.Kid-friendliness: They are very friendly in general specially with kidsWheelchair accessibility: All single level, easy to get in and out, with handicap parking, and large curb ramp spots. Sometimes the doors are heavy to pull“
“One of the best restaurants I've ever been to, everytime I go I know il be leaving with a happy stomach and smile on my face, best sushi anywhere around, always so fresh and beautiful and their regular entrees are amazing as well! The rainbow roll is so good and my partner is obsessed with the seven stars around the moon dish, will always recommend this restaurant :)“
“Great gem for Sushi, Asian cuisine. The food is prepared fresh when ordered. The fried tofu with vegetables is phenomenal, flavors that mingle with a superb brown sauce. The service is excellent with attentive and friendly servers. Plenty of menu options for any conisieru.Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian food entrees and items on the menu.Parking: Large well maintained parking lot.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheel chair accessible parking spots close to the entrance with wheel chair accessible aisles and seating.“
“Didn't have a bad meal here for many years, but it was a bit lacking today. They forgot a wonton soup and we tried the calamari appetizer. It was dark brown like it was overdone, but they were really limp and rubbery.Hopefully this was just a one off bad experience. As I said, I've had good experiences until today.“
“Best Chinese food in the area AND it’s friggin local. C’mon. This place does great work on their food and service and if I had enough money I’d go there all the time. For now, it’s a treat! Portions are on point and the flavor is there. The inside is quite clean and has a restroom for customers.Parking: Behind the restaurant. At least 5-7 spotsKid-friendliness: Kids are allowed, but nothing to play with (I.e. just tables and chair for dining in.Wheelchair accessibility: It’s flat enough for a wheelchair to get inside the door.“
“Great sushi spot close to Oakmont! Huge menu and the food is always great quality. They also have bubble tea!! It's a really big place so perfect for the whole family and larger parties. Everyone who works here is always really friendly too! Highly recommended“
“Food was really tasty ?. Enough items for the buffet. I expected a better sushi collection but I was already so full with it's tasty platter, I can't complain. One thing I should mention that the dessert items could be better. I am not into desserts, so good for me... Overall, I liked it.“
“Absolutely delicious!! Excellent food. Prepared perfectly. We had the egg roll (shrimp & pork filling), California rolls, shrimp dumpling, shanghai soup dumplings and shrimp lo mein. Everything was fresh and flavorful. The service is impeccably professional and kind.“
“It’s good, but I’ve had better… the hot and sour soup was hardy and flavorful. The Basil Chicken is good, but greasy. The Amazing Chicken and General Tsao’s Chicken are good and flavorful, but a bit overbreaded and greasy. Overall, not bad“
“They were very quick to take my order and prepare my food. I just stopped by on a whim to get takeout. Lunch was little under $8 and very tasty. More reasonable than fast food and much more tasty. I will definitely be back to try other things. I got Sheshaun pork, fried rice and it comes with an egg roll.“
“This is one of the best Chinese Restaurants in the Pittsburgh area. Their homemade dumplings are tender, delicious and juicy. I've had at least ten different entrees and every one of them were delicious. My favorite that I order on a regular basis is their General Tso's Chicken, white meat and extra spicy with shrimp fried rice. I highly recommend trying this hidden gem.“
“This is my first time visiting a small town and I had the pleasure of dining at this local Chinese restaurant, and I must say it exceeded all my expectations. My friends and I ordered a wide selection of dishes and each and every one of the dishes were amazing. There was just the right amount of favors and they were all VERY delicious. The portion sizes were also very generous and the prices were reasonable for the quality and quantity of food provided. The service was outstanding. The staff was knowledgeable about the menu and made excellent recommendations.I speak for both me and my friends and we would 100% recommend this to anyone!“
“Definitely my favorite food in the area! I went to Asian cafe for years and then they changed their recipes and I switched to Hunan 2 years ago and I'm never going back. I always get their hot and sour soup, wonton soup, pork lo mein, and general tso's chicken and they never disappoint. I've also had their beef and broccoli a couple times which is always tender and flavorful. I go here about once a month and always have the best service. The women is always super nice and even gives us table duck sauce because she knows it's our favorite. 10/10 can't recommend this place enough!“
“My family and I have been going to the Dragons for years. Best Chinese food. Their wonton soup is delicious and great to pick up your spirits especially when feeling under the weather. Their appetizers are great and often enough to eat as an entree. Food ready quickly and accurately. Food was always hot and great value.“
“I've ordered from Hunan Cafe twice now and say that the food is excellent. I've been extremely impressed with the fresh ingredients, flavors, and quality of the food. Nothing is greasy or overcooked. The Singapore style noodles are very good, and the chicken corn soup is the best I've ever had.“
“A lot of times the cleanliness of an establishments bathroom plays a part in my review as before I get seated a lot of times my daughter and I go to wash our hands before dinner. This usually sets my tone as to what I'll be expecting in that visit. I am happy to say, the restrooms are probably cleaner than mine at home. Staff was very attentive, organized and friendly. Seems most of their business is take out so she was busy. I being alone and waiting for soccer practice to be over, decided to eat in. I got the tofu with bean curd. An order of spring rolls (not much filling in them but there are two!). My personal preference in Asian restaurants is to have fresh mustard but this place being they have large take out has the watery mustard which is a bummer. The tofu was slightly wok fried so that was nice. Not an over abundance of sauce, just right. Plenty of tofu but could use a tad bit more vegetables. Bottled water, pop and iced tea are the drink options. Overall good food for the price. I can see why they are busy. Only thing I wished they did not have would be styrofoam plates and plastic forks and spoons. I'd wish they'd have something a bit more eco friendly. The girl whom was busy at the front did come over to table check me which is a huge bonus. Nice. We will definitely be back.“
“Budget friendly Chinese! Prices look deceivingly high but when you compare to Jade Garden, you are saving $4 an entree. We ordered Kung Pao chicken, vegetable lo mein and it came with fried rice. Our menu said our entree was spicy but I didn’t feel the heat, next time I may ask if they can make it spicier. The portions were huge and this yielded us about 4-5 meals total ($6 a plate). Definitely adding them to our weekly menu because it’s cheaper to order here than buy groceries ? excited to try the full menu!“
“It's a nice place to eat. The food is good and it's a decent price for the food. The service needs work. The hostess in particular. Though I don't speak their language that does not mean I don't understand body language, attitude and temper. I think she believes since we don't understand her that no one will figure out how mean she is. We just ignore her. I do highly recommend the food.“
“The egg drop soup is really good. I may have caught them on a not so good day. I bought the sweet n sour chicken with fried rice. The rice was not good this time. It was dry and not done all the way.The chicken, however, was hot and fresh.Next time I go, I'll just stick to the lo mein.“
“The best hole in the wall Chinese place in the area. We’ve been getting them for over 8 years and never been disappointed. The portions vs price are HUGE for what you pay. Always have leftovers for lunch the next day. Dumplings are delicious and soft, but crispy edges. Chicken and broccoli is the dish I recommend. Shrimp fried rice is always very good as well. Two orders of 8 dumplings, an order of cheese rangoons, a large chicken broccoli with rice (lasted two meals), and a general tsos with rice (lasted two meals). Was $45. Fed four people for multiple days!“
“My family has been eating Chinese food from here my entire life. They are a staple of new Kensington. They have earned their title by consistently serving of delicious, perfectly flavored and cooked food. My favorites are the general chicken and hot and sour soup. They also have great lo mein. The owners are so friendly and helpful when you come in! Their services all is really fast too. There is no dining and there is a card minimum of $10. Highly recommend trying them out if you ever get a chance!“
