“We were passing through New Stanton, and had dinner at La Tavola. We sat at the bar, and had incredible service from Sandy, the bartender. The food was incredible. We had the artichoke appetizer, a Caesar salad, and the Veal Picatta and the special, which was a Swordfish with lump crabmeat. Also, the Crème Brûlée. All was incredible, and Chef Lou came out and chatted with us. A very special gem of a restaurant, which we would highly recommend!!“

Extremely pleasant, friendly staff- fairly certain they were the owners. Had leftovers to bring home for later. Looking forward to our next meal to to see what is new on the menu. “Was there for a funeral gathering. From the moment we walked in to the moment we left, the service was top notch. The food from the appetizer’s to the buffet served lunch was delicious. They served an array of desserts that should have satisfied everyone. I had coconut cream pie which was the best I’ve ever had. We had a wonderful experience at Rizzo’s and I would recommend them for this type of gathering.“

“It was to be a special occasion, my brother's and my birthday celebration. I searched hard for a deep-dish pizza in the area and drove from Monessen. The pizza we had today wasn't Deep dish as advertised; it was high-rise or thick crust. I wrote on the Facebook page's messenger and told them we will be there at what time and on what day for Deep-dish pizza. I was told they still have it. Are waiter never told us that their Deep Dish is a thick-crust pizza? The pizza was good; we didn't ask for a refund. We hope the restaurant will reword its pizza menu. It's just misleading me, and my brother would have gotten something different if it wasn't for Deep Dish. Besides that, the restaurant is amazing. I heard it was my first time there.“

The chicken piccata was amazing—so tender and flavorful. The pasta and meatballs were also a huge hit with our guests. Everything was prepared beautifully and arrived fresh and hot, making hosting so much easier. La Vita’s truly helped elevate the whole event with their delicious food. Highly recommend them for any catered occasion, or dining in —you won’t be disappointed!“

The food was a bit above average & the service in the bar area with Zackie was much less than to be expected for a restaurant of this caliber. Not sure if she hasn't been trained properly or just not cut out to be a server. As anyone that is a "Foodie" would know, great service can compensate for many short comings. “The Village in Mount Pleasant has been our favorite restaurant for at least 25 years. When you arrive, you feel like you're in a LOCAL establishment, and the service confirms that feeling. We are vegetarian and never have an issue finding meat-free meals, and if we're not doing their wonderful pizzas, we go for the gnocchi or pasta dishes with marinara. YUM!! Drink and food prices are very reasonable, and the staff is mostly local family and friends. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!“

“We just had my daughter’s wedding shower here and everything was absolutely perfect from the room and table set up, the food, the mimosa bar and the friendly staff. The guests had a choice of stuffed ricotta shells with meatballs or chicken parmesan and both dishes were delicious! Claps to the chef. They also offer gluten free, vegan and child meals. The venue is reasonably priced, spacious, clean and in a convenient location with plenty of parking. A big thank you to the owners and staff for their hard work and assistance in making my daughter’s wedding shower a very special and elegant event.“

“After hearing good things about Brick House, we stopped in for lunch today. Had a very good waitress, a lot to choose from on their menu. We got wedding soup, spaghetti with meatballs & calzone. Everything was hot & very good. Large portions esp spaghetti which was lunch size. Only reason for 4 *’s is price of our drinks. I think $3.95 is a little high. We did get refills but most places are $3-3.29. Will be back to try the pizza.“
