“I heard a lot about Jules@market. When the house jazz band was scheduled we took the opportunity to check it out. The ambiance was great. A subtitled film noir projected against one wall while the jazz trio played against the opposite wall. We loved that. There’s an open kitchen design which really works in an otherwise tight space. One small minus is that it could be vented better. I came home smelling like food. Having said that, the food was exceptionally good. I read some reviews that spoke about small portions. My response is- if you want tonnage, eat fast food or at a chain restaurant. Jules@market is not that. Everything was fresh and on point. One drawback- most restaurants that offer sparkling bottled water also offer flat. I was surprised that Aqua Panna wasn’t available but Pelligrino was available. We don’t drink tap water so I was forced to drink carbonated water which isn’t the greatest for my stomach. Had I known I would have brought my own. Now the service- the staff was super friendly. I left over 20% because of this. But, to put it bluntly they need training. The food is great, the prices are high, the ambiance is amazing. The service should match but it doesn’t. I’m being specific in this review because I love that Bristol is changing and growing and want this restaurant to really really succeed. So here are my comments:1) when people put utensils together to the side it indicates they are finished and the plate can be removed. When it is open and food remains don’t ask to take the plate. 2) Remove all dirty dishes promptly- out bread dishes and used butter stayed on the table the entire meal 3) clear the table before bringing dessert. Looking at dirty dishes while eating the most perfect key lime pie detracts from the experience. 4) timing could be better. We waited 25 minutes for our appetizers and then waited again for a side after being served our main courses at separate times. Have someone follow the server and put the entire course down together. 5) Not once were our water glasses refilled by staff. We poured the Pelligrino ourselves 6) Never bring the plastic bus bins onto the floor to clear a table. That’s for diners, not nice restaurants. Use a tray to remove dishes if need be.I eat at high end restaurants and the service makes the night. That’s why we tip and don’t get take out, we like to relax and have a pleasant experience. I’d love to come back and have the amazing food ( worth every Penny) and have the service be more on point.The food is perfect, fresh, tasty, excellent presentation. The staff couldn’t be friendlier- really lovely people. The ambiance is great, quaint and inviting. I gave a five star because I think the service just needs a little tweak.UPDATE: After posting my review I was contacted by a man saying he was the general manager. I’m not sure how he got my phone number but I wish he would not have called. He was positively berating me about how my review was damaging, he had 15 people to keep on payroll, his family was from Bristol, and I just wrote the review to benefit myself. I could barely respond. He was erratic and attacking. It was off putting considering my teenage son was in the car as he wouldn’t let up and was on speaker. At first I tried speaking with him. I felt my review was good, fair, and spoke very highly about everything except the service- which others have critiqued similarly here on google review. After five minutes of him venting I was still trying to make things right and asked if I could make a suggestion. His response was very rude. He said,” if you make it quick.” At that point I realized that whatever is going on in his life- he decided to take it out on me. I was done. I said,” Never mind. Have a good day.”I later heard that the jazz house band who I was seen talking to was fired and told that I complained about the music. That’s absurd and a lie. They were fired as some sort of weird retribution or maybe they can’t afford to pay them anymore and used me as a scapegoat. Either way this restaurant is not managed properly.“
“We used JustFood to cater our wedding at Rose Bank Winery and are so happy we did because they made the experience as stress free as possible. They cater many weddings at Rose Bank and are very knowledgeable about the venue. Working with Rob and team was a pleasure and they exceeded our expectations. They sat down with us to create our own personal, custom menu and even adapted some of our favorite recipes into our wedding appetizers and entrees. Our guests were very complimentary of the food with the short rib and mac and cheese being the highlight. Rob and team spent a lot of time with us over numerous planning and menu tasting sessions in the months leading up to our wedding to make sure the setup, cocktail hour, dinner and dessert went smoothly. The team also went above and beyond to help us move our decorations to the venue the day before our event and took care of setting up the room and decorations to take as much stress out of the day as possible. Rob also coordinated with the florist, DJ and photographer for setup on the day of the wedding to make sure the day followed our planned timeline. They provided full service, from event planning through to the final catering for both our modified pandemic ceremony and twice-postponed wedding, both at Bartram’s Garden in October 2020 and October 2022, respectively.Our wedding was originally scheduled for October 2020, but COVID forced us to convert the original date to a tiny ceremony, while our wedding proper was postponed twice. Kate Conaway allowed us to host the pandemic ceremony at Bartram’s at no extra charge, setting up the space and ensuring our event was lovely and safe, despite the painful impact of the pandemic. She was kind, flexible, helpful, and accommodating. She, and then Kelly Mahoney, who took over as wedding event coordinator in 2021, made what were an extraordinarily frustrating and painful few years of waiting more bearable and productive.We finally had our big wedding in October 2022. Kelly was incredible. She was responsive, thoughtful, thorough, informative,and so easy to work with. She guided us through the lead-up to the day and the event itself perfectly. Kelly and the whole Jamie Hollander team helped us create the perfect wedding environment, and brought to fruition the wedding we had long envisioned. The catering and bartending staff were outstanding–so warm, friendly, and welcoming. Many of our guests commented on how wonderful the staff were. The venue was breathtaking, the reception tent looked spectacular, and the most complicated portions of our day went off seamlessly. The food was truly exceptional–by far the best wedding food either of us have ever had. “I have ordered take out from Melody restaurant for many years now, for a variety of holidays and celebrations. Every single time, the food was incredible beyond words! All my guests have complimented the food every single time. Always very fresh. The dishes are always so comforting and homey. On top of the food being delicious, they are also so well presented that I just put the plate straight onto the table. You can definitely tell that it’s all made with love. Will definitely be ordering from them in the future, highly recommend the same!“
“Where to start? Unfortunately, I'm writing this review late (6 months after getting married). But in return for writing it late we have gotten so much feedback from all of our friends and family who attended our wedding. To this day people still bring up our wedding saying it was fantastic, the aesthetic, decorations, food, drinks, music, everything. Falls Manor venue was a dream come true. When my husband (Matt) and I started looking at venues we both agreed on one thing. How the heck were we going to afford all of this? Between the venue, DJ, photographer, videographer, etc. We looked at venues in NJ (where we live currently) and almost everything started at $200 dollars per plate per person with a minimum of 200 or more people. And although we always loved the idea of having a wedding and a party to celebrate and have fun with all of our friends and families, we couldn't justify spending hundreds of thousands of dollars on a 1 day event. Then we found Falls Manor. They were literally a dream come true. The price was right, it included everything from the food, drinks, planning tools and more. They gave us options to choose for enhancements to add to our package. Some examples were 1 free dance lesson at the dance studio, a sparkler send off, and their treasure chest. Their treasure chest was and is the best thing for a venue to offer! It contains every decoration you can think of from table centerpieces to signage for the cocktail hour area. So Matt and I didn't need to spend any extra money on decorations that we would never use again. We probably saved at least a couple thousand dollars by not having to worry about that and the best part is the team at Falls Manor sets up everything for you so all you have to do is show up. They are all so organized and friendly. I can't tell you how many times I emailed Brian or Sonya, but I'm sure it was enough to get annoying at times. But every single time I emailed them they answered within a day they made everything so easy from the day we booked them to the day we got married and always answered all my questions that I had. The food was also phenomenal and not just cocktail hour. Most people when they talk about food from venues is that the cocktail hour was great but the dinner service was okay. We had been to a lot of weddings in 2023 and Falls Manor had the best food out of all of them cocktail hour, dinner and dessert. Almost all of the guests agreed as well. Most people told us that at other weddings they'd been to that year the food was not hot or it was dried out and that Falls Manor was the only one they had gone to that had neither. Which is one of the most important things for people is the food. It makes me so happy to hear that they do events for certain holidays like Valentine's Day and also have baby showers now because I would 110% go back in a heartbeat. If you are looking for a venue that is gorgeous and not going to cost you an arm and a leg per person this is the venue for you. I wish I could go back in time and relive the day over and over for how smoothly everything went and how good all the food, drinks, music, etc. was. “Had a wonderful time celebrating my friends birthday at this establishment. There was also another celebration going on, so the rent rooms for special occasions. The food was so good. The staff brought out complimentary tomato bread which was delish. The service was wonderful, and the seating was nice. Now the food....it was so hard to choose all the choices read good. I decided on the Saporita, so good !!! It's also BYOB which is always nice. I definitely recommend this place.“
“Attended a Wedding on Friday night what a absolutely gorgeous place. The appetizers were delicious and I never saw so many especially the shrimp scampi. The dinner buffet was so good such a great selection. The prime rib was excellent. Finally I can't say enough about the amazing desserts. So incredibly delicious and so many to choose from. I would definitely recommend that you have your next affair at this venue.“

The apricot glazed chicken was particulary good as was the matzoh ball soup and the vegetable soup....the roasted potatoes were outstanding!
