I took one star away on the atmosphere, only reason, if you’re looking for a restaurant atmosphere, this isn’t, this is all about cheese steaks.“

“I’m in town one night for a business ordeal, and I needed some dinner. I really wanted wings, and not from a franchise. Hello wings came up upon a gps search for “wings”, and upon seeing the reviews and trying myself I’m certainly happy! I had to rate a 4 because, 1. The wing prices are strange. A 6 piece is 9.99 but a 10 piece is 16.99? I would guess the 10 piece be at 14.99 for equivalent pricing at the 6 piece. 2. I couldn’t get just a 6-inch sub. Had to get a footlong. I love close to Altoona, so being this close to Philly, I wasn’t going to pass up a chance for a cheesesteak. I got the Gangnam style wings (sweet w/less heat) and Philly cheesesteak. Those wings DID NOT miss! Juicy, flavorful, and breaded fine! And the hoagie, packed extremely well! Do yourselves a favor, and stop in if you’re hungry!“

“This place was pretty good. Wide selection of options. When we ordered our food, we could immediately sit down, and it took only five minutes of waiting for our food to be at our table. The food was very hot and very fresh, and tasted like your very first burger.“

It’s hard to find really good home cooked meals that have a fast food type setup. They have it down. “Firstly, Benny is an absolute gem of a person. My husband & I were town for work. I had an issue with the computer taking my order even though they had already closed. I had read the reviews, with 1 from just 2 weeks ago. It didn't make sense that they had just closed up for good. I stopped by today just to double-check and was pleased to meet Benny. He was super apologetic and set about figuring out what happened. He offered us brisket sandwiches to make up for the issue and we chatted while waiting. The brisket was really great and I know we will be back. We definitely want to try more of the menu and look forward to it. We highly recommend checking out BB Kitchen & Grill!“

“Rays makes the absolute best cheesesteaks and hoagies. LOADED with meat and all fresh ingredients. When we lived locally, we would order take out from Rays weekly. We moved to Virginia last year & can't find a sandwich even close to comparable. Rays is our first stop whenever we visit the Lansdale area.“

“Wonderful lunch today at Bruno‘s! We sat outside, enjoyed a chicken salad, wrap, a grilled cheese with bacon, and a cheeseburger, with ice cream served in parfait dishes for dessert. Everything was fresh, tasty, and served quickly and with a smile. Perfect experience all around.“

“I get a large Buffalo Chicken Stomboli every time I go as I love the Buffalo sauce. I've attached pictures of my last 3 orders. I ordered the same large Stromboli and a side of blue cheese in the 3 different side sauce sizes available. Light comes with 1, Extra comes with 2 and XXtra comes with 3. I did try ordering it on the apollos website with blue cheese clicked but without a size and no sauce was given. This seems like a unique issue with food that already comes with side sauces as the system defaults to it being checked but the store does not have it on the receipt unless a sauce size is choosen.“

“This was a neighborhood staples when I was growing up. So much so that it would be my last stop before leaving Philly when I came home for a visit. The food is still good, but the family-feel of the place is not the same. It seems they are trying different combination of staff, but the group there on my most recent "felt right." They seem to be a part of the fabric of the community.

The prices have been raised and are exorbitant. I know I can find a steak or hoagie just as good in Philly for several dollars less. I was disappointed to see one of the cooks rubbing his hair and his beard as I entered the store and was going to handle food before washing his hands until I said something to another staff member. She received my critique gracefully and handled the situation discreetly.
