“Was it worth walking all of Kensington to reach here at Circles and Squares? Hell yea. Would do it again...maybe. ONE of the best pizzas Ive ever had. The east coast does it the best honestly. We talked to the owner and was the dopest dude. It is a city of brotherly love. The crisp was perfect and the cheese was flawless. Cant say anything negative about it. He even brought us out some wings which were fuego. You have to come here. Dont walk through Kensington though.“

“We loved the delicious pizza! My favorite is the funghi. My boyfriend loved the hot honey pepperoni. The little pepperoni and the whipped ricotta were perfect on that pizza. And I loved that there was lots of fresh basil. The cheesesteak was good. We love a seeded roll and well seasoned ribeye. However, the one drawback for me is that they don't have long hot peppers! Verona is still an excellent spot. If I absolutely need a long hot pepper cheesesteak, I'll go to Del Rossi's in Philly. The staff at Verona were super friendly and nice and patient with us while we figured out what we wanted. We will definitely be back! Thank you“

“Uptown vibes vegan pizza was good,
The crust was square deep dish chicago style, very good sauce. tons of cheese didn’t really taste the kale nevertheless, spot on! little on the expensive side.
Thai cauliflower wings , perfectly done, tender on the inside crispy tempura batter on the outside very good sauce
Spicy crab fries need work no crab flavor, kale was there but lacking flavor, plenty of cheese on fries, cheese was cold and the fries were little bit dry and cold.
The Fries are overpriced, thicker cut fries would be better.
The blueberry lemonade and a cucumber, mint lemonade a perfect combo with the pizza
This is a very nice place for takeout. The decor is right on with the whole mission. I read a chapter of the book while I was there Muhammad is inspiring.
I think it’s admirable the way they give back to the community. Hope that they will get some sit down seating in the future currently it has barstool and counter seating, would love to see some outdoor seating. Overall a nice experience, reason for four star atmosphere was a little bit loud hard to talk to my friend.
And as far as the food goes a little bit pricey overall, that’s just a personal opinion if it works for them that’s all that matters definitely will be back.“

“The cashier was absolutely wonderful and made the entire experience so much better. From the moment I walked in, they were friendly, welcoming, and very professional. They took the time to answer my questions, were patient while I decided what to order, and kept such a positive attitude the whole time. “I’ve been coming here since 1964 and it’s still just as good! Hands down- best pizza in Philadelphia! The brothers/brothers in law have retired, but one of the sons is carrying the legacy forward. All they sell is pizza and soda, and only beef and beef pepperoni toppings. It’s no frills, but worth the ride I make every so often from Chestnut Hill. I only wished they took credit cards and stayed open later, but I understand. If you’re a pizza snob like me, do yourself a favor and try King of Pizza?“

“I met Marcello and Kiley the week before and New Hope and they invited us to come and have dinner this weekend. We went on Friday and had the back room basically to ourselves there was 10 of us. The food service was outstanding! Came and spoke with us several times, the chef came out, and said hello, our waitress Heather was absolutely incredible so efficient, and yet so loving! we were spoiled rotten! Everyone took home so much food because the portions were enormous. The prices were totally reasonable. “Their pizza is delicious, always get a white pie with spinach and mushrooms. Unfortunately their sandwiches are not as consistent. Just ordered three Panini sandwiches. Two veggies and one bruschetta. The bruschetta was as ordered and very good. We only received one veggie Panini and got some other grilled chicken with lettuce and tomato?? Also the veggie Panini on their menu and online says grilled eggplant, instead it was two large fried pieces of eggplant on each half. Very generous sandwich but couldn’t eat most of it because of the fried eggplant.😫“

The pizza was solid: plenty of cheese, good sauce, and a nice balance overall. Staff was friendly. I’ll consider trying one of their sandwiches next time I stop by, they look good. “So my dad was born in 1959. He grew up in north wales, I did not. I was born and raised in southern delaware. My dad would bring me up to north wales as a child when he was a single parent and he would ride me all around and show me all types of things. One of the mandatory stops though was always Tony’s pizza, not only was the pizza/food absolutely amazing, you could tell they had been doing it right for a long time, but my dad had not lived in pa for nearly 2 decades and he could walk into this place and they would not only recognize him, they would come from behind the counters, hug/hand shake with him, sometimes even sit down and chat with us for a moment at our table. This is a down to earth, family oriented, pizza joint that does what they do best… FOOD & HOSPITALITY!!! Thanks for always making my dad’s day when we would walk into your shop. The portion size was generous, but the salmon was a bit overcooked. The cocktails are varied and absolutely delicious and clearly made with care. The servers have been friendly and attentive.
