I'm the Chef at the Fountain Springs Country Inn & was the Chef at the Gallery Restaurant in Pottsville for many years I'm also the owner of Pop's Original Screamer's in Ashland. I would just like to say the food was outstanding & our server was exceptional (top notch). Highly recommend the Brick house 5 stars. thanks for a great evening.”

“Counter service pizza joint with sandwiches and all other sort of yumminess. There's about 10 tables in the back room for seating you just order at the counter and then sit down and they'll call you when your food is ready.

We ordered boom boom shrimp and a large neapolitan pizza. The food came out quickly and was hot and well prepared. The boom boom shrimp was really tasty.

Pizza is standard fare with fresh soft dough in the neopolitan style. Well priced. Three of us ate for $40 including tip.”

The food is consistently great, the drinks are delicious, and the whole place just feels comfortable and easy. Deer Lake Pub is hands down my favorite restaurant in all of Schuylkill County.”

“Best attitude in customer and very service oriented people. Always ready to give you assistance. The egg sandwiches on Saturday morning are the best ever. I especially like the bagel one with bacon and my husband likes the English muffin one with sausage. They also have the best custard filled, chocolate covered eclairs I have ever tasted. Their coffee beans are also best coffee ever. We have tried coffee beans in other places but this coffee tastes great. And that's that.”

My youngest son has already declared the Galaxy drink his new favorite! My oldest enjoyed looking through the record selection and found a few albums to take home. Great atmosphere, friendly people, and excellent customer service. We'll definitely be back.”
