“First let me start out by saying it’s very rare that I leave restaurant reviews of any kind. So if I do, you know it was above and beyond the norm. My friend and I were on a motorcycle ride and had planned to stop here, neither of us having been here before. We walked in today around 12:20ish and were quickly seated right next to the ridiculously cozy fireplace. I took one look at the brunch menu and then the specials menu and I was in love. I was torn between the chicken n waffles, biscuits and gravy and the crabby patty smash burger. So many amazing choices. The crabby patty was absolutely amazing, messy, but worth it. Our waitress was on top of everything, very nice, funny and attentive. The dining area has a very warm and cozy vibe. It wasn’t particularly busy when we were there, so will have to go back during dinner rush to see if the service is still excellent. This place is a hidden gem and has some truly wonderful dishes. I will definitely be going back as often as I can to try the whole menu.“

I ordered a hot latte and my daughter ordered an Iced latte, both were amazing!!! MUCH BETTER THAN Sta**ucks!!! I ordered the Homemade sausage gravy and biscuits. They were extremely good and would definitely order again.
My daughter ordered the pancakes, very light and fluffy 10 out of 10 as far as pancakes go.
No doubt that I would definitely go back for breakfast again.“

“My in-laws Jeannette and John Smoll used to go there at least monthly back in the early 90’s. They got to know the owners and became good friends, so much so that my wife and I were married at Christ Luthern Church a few doors away just so we could all walk over to the Springtown Inn afterwards for our reception dinner. The food and atmosphere were just perfect. We completely forgot to get a cake so they baked one right on the spot. There’s much more to the story, but they made our wedding day a most cherished memory. In fact, today is our 34th wedding anniversary, July 27, 1991. We don’t live in the area so I was very happy to see that you are still in business after all these years. I hope we can get back there one day!“

From a photographer's perspective, this place is an absolute gem.The getting ready shots were a dream to capture inside the property. The rooms upstairs provided the perfect amount of natural light, allowing me to create those airy and light portraits that we all adore. Downstairs, the groom's getting ready area ensured that Cassandra and Rafael didn't accidentally catch a glimpse of each other before the ceremony – a thoughtful detail that I greatly appreciated.The ceremony took place outside. Surrounded by rolling hills and trees, this setting offered me a plethora of angles to capture the heartfelt moments. If a countryside wedding is your vision, then this venue should be your top pick.One thing to note, though, is the summer heat and humidity. As a suggestion, if you're considering this property for your big day during the hotter months, I highly recommend scheduling your couple's shoot after 6 pm to take advantage of the cooler temperatures and avoid the harsh sun. I took pictures around 4 pm which was also ok, but golden hour and sunset lighting just hit different.The reception hall is nothing short of perfection. With its generous space, it comfortably accommodated around 100 guests. The fries were actually the best part, those were really good. But the service was excellent. Mark was our waiter and he was great. He split our sandwich and fries and put it on 2 separate plates, without being asked to do so, which was very nice of him. He was friendly and attentive. I will say as someone who often comes to peddlars village, of you come on the weekend, especially during a special event weekend, this place is usually packed. Come early or during a weekday for a quieter atmosphere and no wait.“
