“After getting food poisoning from Great Wall, I found Rice House. They have the absolute most incredible and fresh food. I highly recommend getting their coconut chicken, honey chicken, sweet-and-sour chicken, egg rolls, their duck sauce is the best. Their portions are very generous and they have lunch specials up until 3 PM every day. My daughter and I absolutely love this restaurant and the owners are so sweet. “I have lived in 4 towns and tried many Chinese takeout. This place is literally the best Chinese food I've ever had. I drive 30 miles for their sesame chicken with wonton soup. Great deal and the wonton are the size of your fist and you get two. They also delivered to me in 12in of snow in 2014. I felt terrible for asking but they saved me when I had no food for days. You will not regret it.“

“The general tso's sauce IS the best! I get the general tso's tofu (don't knock it till ya try it) and it's great every single time. Their tofu(or whatever)+ broccoli (brown sauce) is really good as well. I don't usually get the fried rice but I recall it being decent. Not a sit in restaurant and it isn't the most welcoming store front as another person as mentioned, but the food is fast and delicious and I have never had a single issue.

General tsos was nice and crispy and the pork fried rice was flavorful. The lo mein could use some extra sauce but the foundation was there.

Don’t really count on eating at the place. You can but there isn’t much seating and the open kitchen can be quite warm in the summer. The food holds up to go and thats what I recommend.

“Nice little spot for chinese food. Take out only which isn't an issue as I usually order ahead of time just before I get off work so I can pick it up without a wait. There's a parking lot too so you won't have to worry about stopping for too long in the street if for some reason you get there before your food is ready.“

“This is pretty much the only place i eat at this mall. For me the price is very reasonable and usually they have something i always enjoy. The spicy fried tofu (w/Veggies & Lo Main) is always great and my go-to when I want a filling snack.
I wish I could give bonus stars simply for the wonderful woman working the register today (9/1/24, roguhly 1 pm). She was amazingly friendly! While I patiently waited for my meal I noticed every customer who came into here (including myself!) was acknowledged and greeted, she made sure to ask if orders were correct double checking and all, and would always find something to compliment or have that moment of a quick impression/connection and making someone's day that much better. Not one person left without a smile. Someone like that is a very rare gift in the food industry. I wish I could give her a proper shout-out, but I never got her name!“

“I have now visited Great China a handful of times and I have to say this is now my go-to Chinese place in West Chester. The pricing is unbeatable and the quality of the food is great! I have order the lunch special shrimp in lobster sauce, chicken and broccoli and the shrimp dumplings on various occasions and every time it is delicious! The egg rolls are great too! The employees are always friendly and prompt. I cant say enough good things! Highly recommend.“

“You will find some of the best vegan food on the East Coast at this restaurant. Sue is an extraordinary cook and makes the best ginger salad dressing you will ever taste. The buffet is served on Friday evenings, and Saturdays & Sundays for lunch and dinner. The selection is huge with many original dishes and will take many tastings to discover all the delicacies. For approximately $27 per person it is a bargain. It includes salads, soups and a multitude of appetizers and main courses as well as a dessert and you can order vegan ice cream as an additional item. If any dish is picked through or run out mention it to the servers and they will get the kitchen to refill. A slightly more expensive buffet is served on special holidays and occasions and has an assortment of very special dishes added to the regular buffet. They have buy one, get one general tso’s chicken on the uber eats app at least once a month and a teriyaki chicken special everyday. The teriyaki chicken i daydream about. The portion sizes are amazing and they give you a lot of meat and not just a bunch of broccoli with a little bit of meat. Definitely go! Don’t hesitate.“

Not too busy at that moment, and not much noise from the outside. The seats and tables were not sparkling clean, but clean enough that I wasn't grossed out. I'm a bit of a germophobe so I wiped my seat before sitting. Now the owner and her staff are absolutely incredible human beings and make you want to go back. The food is just a plus that it is five star in all directions. “My go-to dishes to base my chinese take-out is always an order of fried dumplings, beef chow fun, and some type of general tso's. Also got an order of cheese wontons and sweet and sour chicken. Everything I'd say is priced reasonably well compared to the local chinese takeouts near me and where I've gone in the past, would say the food may be 4.5 instead of 5 but I'll round up.

Not sure why others have said the people are mean/rude, they were friendly with me.

Overall I really enjoyed the food, price is very affordable, wait time to get the food was very quick, would switch to Chicken instead of Tofu next time. Definitely wouldn't mind coming back again when in the area.

Dumplings - Good flavor, nice chew, sauce was a little salty but balanced well with the dumplings

Beef Chow Fun - Noodles a bit overcooked but the flavor was there, beef was nice and tender, not backfilled with a ton of veggies like other places

General Tso's Tofu - Tofu was fried too long and made it kind of hard, sauce was okay, gave more broccoli than other places

Cheese Wontons - Nice crunch and pretty good flavor, sweet and sour dip from the chicken went well with it

Sweet and Sour Chicken - Chicken was tender and not dry, batter was crispy even after the drive home (30 mins)
