We were visiting from out of town and stumbled upon this gem! The food was delicious and the staff was kind, inviting and friendly! Our waitress has friends and family from our area back home so it was nice to have that connection with her! Highly recommend and we will be back for sure next time we visit the Philadelphia area!
We loved the venue!!! Recommend!
whenever I am in Chestnut Hill I always say that I am going to try this restaurant. Well today I did and It did not disappoint OMG…. The restaurant is quaint and cute. Cake is a charming restaurant located in the Chestnut Hill neighborhood, offering a delightful brunch experience. The menu features filling yet not overly heavy options, such as the giant breakfast burrito and the lox and bagel, which are praised for their generous portions and fresh ingredients. The restaurant's eclectic atmosphere, great service, and delectable desserts contribute to an overall wonderful Sunday brunch outing. Visitors have also enjoyed bakery and pastry items, with baked goods that are very good and made with helpful staff. The cakes are especially popular; one customer ordered a lemon cake with lemon curd filling and vanilla buttercream icing for a special occasion, and everyone loved it. The dense, lemony cake was not too sweet, and the decoration looked gorgeous. The staff and hosts are attentive and friendly, making guests feel welcomed and eager to return. Reservations are recommended to avoid long waits, but the experience is well worth it.
