“When I first tried Dave's, it was amazing!! Sadly, the quality of the finished product began to decline, many times the food would be room Temperature and the chicken was dry. The great mix of classic rock, yacht rock, pop, and old school Motown started evolving into urban, hip-hop, rap, and even hardcore with explicit lyrics. However, it appears that upper management has literally cleaned house, and trained an entirely new team and manager, creating a wonderful, culturally diverse crew. The music reverted to the mix it was always meant to be, and the food was back to excellent! Perfectly cooked, crisp on the outside and moist on the inside, and still hot when you arrive to pick up your order! Great job, and a great place to take out from or eat in. Once again. I thoroughly enjoyed my dinner tonight and commend them on taking the difficult steps to turn this location around, heading back in the right direction!! “I can’t even lie — Hot Clux got one of the best chicken sandwiches in the city. I’ve been there multiple times and they stay consistent every visit, no matter which location you pull up to.

My go-to is the Loaded Dirty Bird Special. That joint is seriously one of the best things on the whole menu — packed with flavor, filling, and just hits every time. If you don’t know what to order your first time, start there. Trust.

They also got great drinks to pair with your meal, and the quality of the food is always on point. Never had a sloppy or disappointing order from them.

“I tried their lamb over rice and fried chicken with fries they all tasted fantastic. The fried chicken had so much flavor with the skin really crispy and flavorful. Lamb over rice was very good too. Prices were very reasonable with a lot of food. Customer service is well and people were very friendly. If in Philadelphia, this is a must try.“

“Good food in an unexpected location, pre-covid inside the facility was always clean. Nice staff, the food portion sizes for platters are small but the food tastes good. I believe the food taste better when it first opened maybe they have a few new chefs. Desserts are great!“
