We also thought about how circles are cut into triangles and would love for that shape to be considered in the naming of the shop.“

Cheesesteaks are perfectly made with great flavor, perfect seeded roll and the cheesesteak sandwich is n a perfect size and certainly not tiny. Great portions.“

Well spiced and the bake on the pie was great. My wife got a paneer pie and the texture was perfect. Drinks (soda/water) are very expensive, just a heads up.“

“Pizza was very good! Ordered a large “Vinny” and it was ready after about 20 min. We ordered walk-in, so the wait time was a little longer considering there were only 2 employees, and we brought many customers. The cashier was very helpful and patient when the group was attempting to use visa gift cards to pay for orders. My only problem is that two orders within the group were made incorrectly. One, a small pizza with half cheese and half pepperoni, was made entirely with pepperoni. The other, a large pizza, was made as a small. These inconveniences were handled very well by the staff who offered to remake the pizzas, but the added wait almost made it not worth it. Overall good experience and great pizza!“

“I just attended my niece's graduation party there. AMAZING PIZZA !!!! They put out a variety of pizzas on a buffet table. A crispy crust (I went right for the corner pieces) with cheese down 1st. I enjoyed them all, but my favorites were the sausage, the pepperoni, the white pie with onions pork belly and sprouts and the spinach and ricotta. Can't wait to go back !!!“

“It is rare for a brewpub to have vegan food, and I echo what others here have said about the quality and options. Owners are vegan and seemingly intend this to be sort of a vegan place with meat options without making it obvious, lol. Most pizzas can be made vegan, and the mushroom one comes drizzled with a black garlic aioli made with vegan mayo (I asked). Their flagship West Coast IPA is to die for. And the roasted broccoli appetizer was divine. Definitely a place to return to many times. The building is a former horse stable attached to a market, and we mistakenly went into the market first, but the pub is actually between the hotel and the market. Plenty of outside seating, not so much inside, so make a reservation. We went for lunch when it was not as busy. Very friendly cool staff. There is even a beignet sundae dessert with soy vanilla ice cream available. Free parking lot. What a beautiful Philadelphia town. Updated from previous review on 2026-07-31“

“I’ve been coming here since 1964 and it’s still just as good! Hands down- best pizza in Philadelphia! The brothers/brothers in law have retired, but one of the sons is carrying the legacy forward. All they sell is pizza and soda, and only beef and beef pepperoni toppings. It’s no frills, but worth the ride I make every so often from Chestnut Hill. I only wished they took credit cards and stayed open later, but I understand. If you’re a pizza snob like me, do yourself a favor and try King of Pizza?“

“We have found our new favorite spot! Sat outside in CHBC’s fantastic beer garden on a beautiful Saturday early evening. The Biergarten was spacious and had a great vibe and very friendly servers. Don’t forget to bring your canine best friend to this dog friendly spot. While we didn't bring a dog of our own, we loved interacting with everyone else's four-legged friends.

The food, service, and drink selection are all impressive and on point. As someone who only consumes plant-based meals, I was thrilled to find so many amazing vegan options on the menu. The vegan cheesesteak, falafel burger, and chickpea tinga nachos are all delicious and highly recommended, but they also have equally delicious options for carnivores that looked really good. We cannot wait to come back and try the pizza next time.

For drinks, I ordered non-alcoholic beer, but as a beer enthusiast at a brewery, I couldn't help but notice the impressive body, clarity, and color of the house beers being served around us. “This place has been up the street from my house for a few years, but we’ve never ordered from them. I was in the mood for Italian (which I never order out for because I am Italian , and it never tastes like homemade), but what a surprise! My husband and I split a Chicken Cutlet Maria…OMG! It was fabulous! We also ordered the breaded eggplant appetizer….it was out of this world! I’m writing this a week later on a Saturday afternoon, and I’m already wanting to order from them again for dinner tonight! All I can say is PERFECTO!!!😍“
