Most Philly people say GINO's or PAT's Steaks r thee best steak sandwiches in Philly. But.... I say PHILLIPS STEAKS in South Philly on Passyunk Ave has THEE BEST STEAK SANDWICHES IN THIS CITY. & THEY NOW HAVE THE ORIGINAL "FLORIDA STYLE PIZZA" "INSIDE OUTPIZZA" " YUMMY. if u never had an inside out pizza. Go 2 Phillips & get 1. There only $550. FOREAL they should cost much more. There that good. SO BAK 2 a Philly cheese steak from Phillips Steaks.... U gotta order like a real...read full review
Unpopular opinion I liked everything but the sandwich it's ok not terrible (way better than Pat's or Geno's) but not my cup of tea but the service was bomb and even people waiting were cool ?

Average at best. Maybe I should have asked specifically but the steak wasn't chopped up. Maybe that's their signature style, but it wasn't seasoned very well. Classic case of riding on a name that was good 20 years ago but not maintaining the standards that established its past success. And the steak was not cut. Just my pet peeve. That didn't factor in to my rating. Won't be patronizing this establishment again.
