“He had the opportunity to sit in the lovely garden part of the tavern. The food was delicious. I had a steak and the delicious French onion soup. My husband really enjoyed his corn chowder. Even my granddaughter enjoyed the cheesesteak, eggrolls, and she got fish and chips. We left the restaurant full and completed our experience with the valet parking. Thank you Matthew for your service you were top-notch.“

“Atmosphere/Ambience/Attention to detail: Welcoming & beautiful. Linen tablecloths and napkins are classy. Popovers served at the beginning of one’s meal…Classic & Classy. House Manager monitoring the floor speaks of days gone by…unfortunately. A “Fine Dining” establishment should necessarily have such a person present. Food: Good to Very Good. Service: Exceptional on 5/8/25 (Carey ?). Noise Level: Deafening due to vaulted ceiling and tables being so close together. Lacks privacy. You’re part of your neighbor’s conversation whether you want to be…or not. Overall: By far one of, if not The Best Restaurant in the area. If only they could work on the acoustics. “My husband and I just tried The Iron Oven for the first time. It will definitely not be our last. We went for brunch and enjoyed everything we ordered down to my Drinks. Very reasonable prices and good size portions. The staff is very friendly and sweet. Our waitress Gianna was wonderful and she alone would have had us returning. Even the gentleman who brought out our food was super friendly. Highly recommend their brunch and cannot wait to go back for dinner soon. Great food, good prices, great staff and good vibe.“

“I attended a work holiday dinner here. I've never been here before. Everything was very good. I didn't care for my veggies. Some a little overcooked, and my Brussel sprouts were hard. My filet was delicious and cooked to perfection with a delicious little sauce. My mashed potatoes were also very good. The service was exceptional, and drinks were very generous. I can't comment on the price/value since I never saw the bill, but I would definitely recommend!!“

“We are here all the time. You'll know, because the waitstaff knows my son always orders the barbecue chicken. It's a favorite place of ours. I've had almost every item on both the main and the special menus. The food is very good. The staff is friendly. In all the years we've come, there was only 1 mistake. Way to go everybody!“

“We used Tina to cater my uncles surprise 70th birthday party. The brisket was delicious and is a must try! The potato salad was so creamy and seasoned perfectly. The crispy chicken was tender and juicy on the inside and crunchy on the outside. The pierogies, pear salad and cabbage were also super tasty, all the guests were complimenting the food. Jesse who came to set up was pleasant, efficient and friendly, we will definitely be using Tina for our future catering needs!“

“I don't want to bash a business especially since my feedback is specific to me being a vegetarian but last night's dinner was a disappointment (the only time I've been disappointed at Bowman's). We typically grab lunch or dinner a few times a year at Bowman's. We stopped for dinner last night and it seemed like there were less vegetarian options than the last time I was there. I ordered a veggie burger substitution for the $20 burger and was charged $24. It seems silly to charge an extra 20% considering the most expensive part of a burger is the actual beef burger. I'll check the menu every so often if there's any new vegetarian entrees but in the meantime, it's going to be a while before we go back to Bowman's which is a bummer because we've always liked it. Go elsewhere if there's a vegetarian in your group.“

The past two times we were there we had sat at the bar, the bartender Emma was SO nice and attentive! “We had dinner here for the first time on Sat, 11/12/22–what a wonderful experience! The staff was friendly and very helpful. We had muscles for our appetizer that were fresh and very tasty. We each had different entrees, one the salmon dish and the other chicken—both were amazing, with each of us saying we’d order our meal again or try the other one next time. Then dessert: one had the s’mores dessert and the other the chocolate bread pudding—we didn’t think we’d have room, but we made room, because both were excellent! Plus the chef said he’d be changing the menu every week—we can’t wait to go back!“

My mom and I also had the Lava Cake for dessert. It’s huge and very rich, so keep that in mind when ordering after dinner. My dad had the brownie bite and it was the cutest little dessert but he said it was the perfect size after eating dinner.“
