“We didn’t have food. Stopped for a drink before a Penguins game. Our bartender Lindsay was top notch. She gave us an education on mixology. We concocted an old fashioned with High West Campfire bourbon and molasses bitters that came out as the best old fashioned I ever had. Always great experience here but Lindsay made it perfect.“

“City Winery Pittsburg is a cool place. Prices were high but we weren’t surprised. We did a wine flight, a glass of ros’e and hummus with pita for $59…The hummus was good but came with four small, burnt triangles of pita bread. We ate the four pieces and still had 3/4 of hummus left. We had to ask for more bread and it took 25 minutes for it to come out! They finally brought us four more burnt pieces- luckily they didn’t charge us extra for them. The wines were okay- nothing I’d go out of my way for. The bartender was very nice but overall it was not worth the money in my opinion. I would recommend people try it out in hopes they have a better experience. Just don’t order the hummus… or at least bring your own pita!“

“I have some interesting compulsions. The staff let me sweep leaves that were bothering me during an EDM show. That's some next level customer satisfaction.

Beyond that, the venue is amazing. Excellent acoustics, great layout, multiple bars for beverage needs(if that's your thing), as well as a kitchen tucked in the back.“

“Where can I begin… the food was delicious! Friendly service and real conversation. My family and I are from Indiana visiting for the weekend and we wanted to try Grandma B’s. Went on Saturday morning and it was so impressive we said “We’re coming back tomorrow before we leave!” Only to return Sunday morning and they had standing room only! Sadly my party and I were just going to head back to Indiana, hungry when they called us back in and said”We’re going to make room for you all up top.” They proceeded to prepare another area upstairs to accommodate our party! “We went to G’s for our anniversary and it was an absolutely delightful experience. Great quiet and cozy atmosphere, stellar service, and incredible food and drinks. Every dish was full of flavor and the textures were all beautifully done. Even the bread basket was amazing with maple butter. It felt like a 5 star dining experience for a reasonable person. “We had 7 people. Made reservations 2 wks prior. Food was delicious. One person got chicken parm, specifically answered "no" when asked if she wanted noodles. The meal came with noodles under her chicken. Also, there was an issue with their check. Waitress never brought the slip that gets signed from using credit card. She insisted she gave it, didn't understand they needed the part the customer actually signs. Not sure what the issue was but waitress realized she never actually rang it up which is why they didn't get the slip. So those 2, although they did like the food, weren't real happy with the service. Waitress spoke in double time. So fast it was hard to understand what she was saying. Seemed kind of moody so not sure if it was just a bad day for her, or if she's always this way. But the food was delicious!“

“Stumbled upon Albero Verde, when looking for a fine dining restaurant for our Anniversary that wasn't $50-100/ plate and was more accessible than downtown Pittsburgh....Albero Verde, did NOT disappoint. The owner and Chef, Anthony Pupo, introduced himself while delivering a small, unique tasting of a wonton with a twist. This small but mighty restaurant provided top notch service, an intimate dining experience, good music, the option of BYOB, and the FOOD was too die for. The wonderful waitress suggested that we split the Wedge salad, and I appreciated the suggestion as 1 was plenty for 2 people...but when she brought it out, they had plated it on 2 seperate plates for us, taking away the hassle of dividing the dish ourselves at the table. We then had the Octopus and Beans and Greens appetizers.... both delicious. For our main course, we had the Fran and Fudge (named after the Chef's grandparents) a HEALTHY sized bone in porkchop with brie and goat cheese pierogi and the Scallop and Langoustine Spaghetti... both excellent! For dessert we had the Pomegranate Semifreddo, a refreshing frozen yogurt and a mini chocolate cannoli. We will absolutely be back! Thank you, Chef, for a lovely and tasty evening.“

“MY friend and I went there on Saturday to celebrate our birthdays..Our server Adam was simply amazing. He patiently waited for us to decide on our drink order and went as far as to let us try the drink to see if we liked it, which we didn’t but he took it off our bill and then brought us a birthday card and wished us a happy birthday. The food was very delicious. But our main complaint comes down to Adam !! He was so fantastic and such a kind person . They truly have a rare gem in him as an employee! I hope they appreciate him because he is what makes it a truly wonderful experience there. We will definitely go back there and if we are lucky Adam will be our server.!!!“

“I do not recommend this place. My boyfriend and I sat at the bar last night and were never even acknowledged. We stayed for 10-15 and after no acknowledgement from the bartender or service we left. Rhonda and Chon at the hot chocolate stand were quite the opposite of our experience inside. They were both so helpful and accommodating.“

I used to live here about 8 years ago and moved away for that time period, but as soon as I moved back in 2023, I had to get some of their wings!The wings are just as incredible as before and their flavors are insane! The menu might look a bit intimidating with all of the crazy fun flavors, but trust me, you won't get a bad one from them! They are all so unique and different.Do yourself a favor and go to BSB's to try some of their wing flavors! Their subs are also fantastic!“

“I had an amazing blackened salmon salad tonight with one of the best dressings I’ve ever had, hands down! The honey lemon vinaigrette is perfection, don’t pass it up when you go! I’m pumped to come back and try more of it all.
