“Benihanas has always been our family’s go to restaurant for special occasions or just to have a large meal.“

“The staff was absolutely lovely from the hostess to the server. The atmosphere was intimate, the decor throughout was very cool. The menu is very fairly priced and the food was incredible. I brought a friend here last night that was visiting from out of town, she can be a hard critic but she left happy. Thank you for such a wonderful experience! I will be back!“

“Toyosu offers attractive, delicious sushi, sashimi, and poke, with a focus on take-out customers—if you opt to eat at one of the few tables available, you will still receive and consume your food in plastic containers. However, you probably won’t mind because you’ll be too busy devouring crisply presented morsels of fish, prepared by aces with big-league experience.“

“I like their poke, it's my usual, and I would like to try their other items eventually. Their bulgogi is not my favorite as I find it blander and drier than what I like. I find that their website is not easy to use and their customer service is not great. They seem to argue or get easily frustrated. I like to get their lunch deal but it hasn't worked multiple times and they don't seem to like to honor the deal when I can't get it to work - they begrudgingly do. I'm not sure if the issue is because I have an iphone and use safari.

While waiting for my food today- I saw 3 other set of customers come in. The first came to pick up food and it sounded like one of the shop owners(?) (the woman) was rude to someone picking up telling them that they should come on time - they they've been waiting 15 minutes. The next person asked if they could drink their boba inside (they had other food with them) and they said no because there is no outside food. I understand the rule, but it seems odd to me when I've never seen the place anywhere near full. This is just my opinion, but I think having people visible in the place would be good for business. I don't think I've ever seen more than 4 people inside. I'd like them to stay in business and remain in the neighborhood but I'm uneasy about how it's not really a pleasant place to wait for my food in. I wish they would be more open and prioritize more positive experiences.“

“The best softshell cranio I’ve ever had, even better than mine, and that’s just the beginning. Never had a bad meal here. And the crepe cakes are perfect to take home for a late dessert (or next morning’s breakfast) after some time to digest.“

“My friends and I enjoyed a great meal at Takumi. The cocktails were creative and tasty and the sushi was fresh, beautifully plated and delicious. This would have been a five star experience for me had it not been for the poor service. No one came to ask us if we wanted to order a drink while we waited for the last member of our party and it took a good 10 minutes for anyone to take our drink order after that person did arrive. We ordered apps at the same time since we had been waiting. Apps came out super fast, but no one came to check on us or take our dinner order. In hindsight, we probably should have ordered our dinner at the same time as the drinks and apps. After finishing our apps and still waiting for our server, we finally flagged down another server to find her so we could order. While she did come back to check on us once after food was delivered, we spent most of the rest of our dinner having to flag her or another server down every time we needed something, including the check. I'll definitely give Takumi another chance because the food was so good, and hope for better service next time.“

“You’ ever show up to a restaurant 10 minutes before they close? You feel bad, But after a fundraising event where maybe the food wasn’t quite as good as it could’ve been, we were starving! We stopped by on our way back to our hotel, Moments before their closing time at 11 o’clock, we walk through the door and we’re welcome. “My family and I had an incredible dining experience tonight at Umai. We had a special, Kinmedai aka Golden Eye Snapper that was so fresh and tasty, out of this world good! We also had a treat with broiled tuna cheek that was also outstanding. Otoro was so velvety and rich, spicy hotate, sweet ebi, unagi, fried crabs, incredible sushi rolls, savory Akadashi (my son ordered a second it was so good) and everything else we ordered tonight was just incredible. Thanks so much to Rae and his wonderful staff for one of the best meals I've ever had - the best sushi in this area for sure and such friendly excellent service to accompany it! 🙂 Thanks for such wonderful hospitality and all the extra goodies Rae. “My daughter said that she was looking to have sushi for lunch today, so we decided to give Herosame in Ardmore a try. Wow, this is one of the best sushi meals we've had in the Philly area and definitely on the Main Line. I called in our takeout order and the server who took our order was very friendly and polite as was the server who brought us our order while we waited in the vestibule. We ordered the Lunch Shrimp Teriyaki Bento Box and the Lunch Triple Roll Combo. Wow! I thought they had accidentally give us another person's order as the bags were quite heavy. Both lunch specials could easily be split over two meals or at least a meal and a leftovers snack. The Lunch Shrimp Teriyaki Bento Box included a small house salad, a pint of Miso Soup, 2 Shumai, a California Roll, 6 large Teriyaki Shrimp and a pint of steamed white rice. The salad was a crisp and refreshing spring mix with thinly shredded carrots and a halved grape tomato with a delicious dressing. The Miso soup was very rich and tasty. The Shumai were delicious with a nice crisp exterior, but soft, tender and enjoyable meat inside. The California Roll was huge and stuffed with super fresh crab stick and vegetables topped off with tobiko. The Teriyaki Shrimp were just a hair overcooked, but still delicious. The Three Roll Lunch Combo featured a choice of three rolls from a list of twenty different rolls so my daughter picked the Shrimp Avocado Roll, Tempura Roll and Philly Roll. All three rolls, just like my Bento Box's California Roll were huge with the Shrimp Tempura Rolls being gigantic. One piece of the tempura roll was at least twice the size of other sushi rolls I've had. Each roll was stuffed with the traditional meats and veggie fillings. Everything was so fresh and delicious! Herosame will definitely be on our family's list for future Japanese lunches and dinners!“

“We had been wanting to try this place for a while and finally did. It's a cute little place, the service is very good, and the food is good, but the portions are very small for the most part. I ordered a miso soup, a seaweed salad, a tuna roll, a salmon roll, and a mochi ice cream and I still was not very full afterwards. You get just a little bit of seaweed salad for $5.95. The rolls are tiny. You get one small mochi cut in half for $2.50. I might order a set dinner next time or more likely go somewhere else where I can get more food for my money.“

“I have been coming to Nagomi pretty frequently for about a year now and I really enjoy it. The staff is very kind and attentive. I love their rolls very much. I think the portions are good and the flavors of their speciality rolls work well together. I also enjoy their kitchen items and their miso soup is always delicious. I also think that they are very reasonably priced. I am very glad to have found this place and have brought my friends and family here :)“

“I have been a fan of their ramen for a while. I don't know if they had a change in management or just added more items. The new things, like the Takoyaki are really good and their other items have improved flavors. I highly recommend them.“

“Favorite sushi place! We came from out of state because we love this restaurant so much. We've come many times, usually dine-in but also once to go. The sushi is very fresh and tasty, and reasonably priced. We especially enjoy the sweetheart roll, Godzilla roll, rose roll, and new rainbow roll! Pleasant staff and lovely atmosphere, as well. Can't recommend enough!

“The variety of food and service at Poke It Up was very good. Honestly wish I'd tried it sooner! There are different varieties of poke bowls to select from or you can make your own. The fish was very fresh and came with a healthy portion of rice. The veggies and sauce complimented the meal and the serving size (for me) was quite large so easily came for two meals. Definitely recommend!“

“It was my first time eating at Osaka Hibachi and I was very pleased with both the meal and service.
I ordered the chicken and salmon hibachi and both meats were tender.
The vegetables were cooked perfectly.
The rice was also cooked well.
My only con was the teriyaki/ hibachi sauce was a tad bit salty. Other than that- great experience and you get a lot of food!“

“FRESH sushi poke bowls and ramen dishes on a limited menu are fabulous. The quality of the sushi is exceptional, as are the portions. The service is wonderful and accommodating. Located in Whole Foods on the perimeter between the exterior walls and check-out registers, this is a wonderful option and addition to an already top notch source of quality food!

There’s also a fantastic selection of non-sushi options from the kitchen, perfect for anyone in your group who isn’t a sushi fan. The restaurant is clean, beautifully presented, kid-friendly, and, above all, serves truly exceptional food!“

“Great place to eat at Assi Food Plaza. Quick and relatively cheap during these times of inflation. Lots of options to choose from. Really love their Donkatsu and the Curry Rice. The peanut dressing on their salad is top tier. Most things cost around $10 to $20. ?“

“I visit Kansai at least once a week. The sushi is great and the staff is friendly. Prices are reasonable. Friends I take there always love the sushi.“

“Koi is an amazing place! It is some of the best sushi my husband has ever tried, and it comes complete with a special design by their sushi chef. This family owned restaurant has multiple member of their family, and it truly adds a personal touch. Joey was our server last night, and it was great to learn more about the restaurant - plus he made us laugh and just made our experience even better! “We love Yuki! They have outstanding food, from appetizers to a large selection of Sushi. We've never had a bad meal or bad service here. We have been ordering delivery once a week since the quarantine (min order of $25 to qualify). They are offering credit card payment over the phone, and the delivery man safely passed off our order from a distance while wearing gloves.
