“The tacos here were great. The view is fantastic as this truck is on the roof of the Plymouth Meeting Whole Foods Market. They have a limited menu to select from but the food is fantastic. Sometimes they have live music on the roof too which is nice when the weather is nice.“

We got the sourdough focaccia, beet salad, heirloom tomato salad, sungold tomato pappardelle, and stuff pepper with romesco. The tomato dishes were my favorite. You can really taste the quality of ingredients, and I love the additional of fermented items. It’s worth coming out of your way for.“

“These are the most generous people I’ve ever had the privilege of ordering from in my life. I’m going through a family crisis and I’m in town for the week. I’ve been eating wawa veggie sandwiches and French fries for over a week now and I decided to treat myself to something vegan so I ordered through grubhub for the first time. I guess I accidentally ordered it to be delivered the following day. So I just called them and asked them if they were able to change the delivery time. They said sure no problem but apparently they couldn’t find a GH driver so the owner drove 20 minutes to deliver it to me and I’m honestly about to cry after the week I’ve had. They will never know how much this means to me. I am a lifelong Boardwalk Vegan fan and cannot recommend them enough!!!“

“I’ve been sober from alcohol for almost 7 years and this was the most enjoyable/comfortable dining experience I’ve had in that time. I’m not a vegan but the meatball parm and cheesesteak tots had me reconsidering. Also, the prices are really fair considering they include the tip in the pricingq. 10/10 recommend. “Philly's got some solid vegan restaurants but in my experience, this is the only one where Dr. Michael Greger may drop in to see Chef Alice and crash your lunch party. But that's not even my favorite part about this place — it's a cafe really devoted to the mission of nourishing health through good food. A lot of the meat-free restaurants in town serve tasty food but aren't exactly in the ballpark of WFPB — whereas Joy is looking to add years to your healthspan... without selling short on flavor! Alice is a quintessential crusader restaurateur. I also appreciate the gluten-free options, and I congratulate myself for the dignity I exhibited last visit when I abstained from eating the paper wrapper of my blueberry muffin in desperation to get every crumb down.“

“I have been eating here every Sunday for several years. And then I shop. Everything tastes great, everything is organic, mostly wholegrain and it is 95% vegan and is an amazing bargain! Jammed Yam (sweet potato with quinoa, black beans, pineapple, mixed peppers, jalapenos, cilantro, avocado) has been my go to for a while now, but I do get other entrees from time to time. There is always a special and a soup and if you get there early you might be able to get one or two of their $.99 vegan wholegrain muffins. Yes, you can mix and match any ingredients or pay $.75 to get extra. I also get a kombucha refill in my growler.“

“This place is awesome. The food, the staff, the service were all top notch. It doesn’t feel like a stuffy 5 star restaurant but your food tastes every bit like it would at a 5 star. It’s BYOB and one of the wine bottle we brought had a cork that disintegrated and they kindly filtered it all out and put it in a decanter for us. Every single course was delicious!! We each got a different appetizer, two different entrées, and two different desserts. Every one of the appetizers was amazing, but I thought the wax beans by far were the best. The carrots were also delicious and everyone really loved the rice noodles too. Each dish was unique and super flavorful!! The steak appetizer was excellent. My scallops were good but not my favorite mix. The desserts were very good and we had to get them to go so I’m sure they would have been even better fresh. I will 1000% be back. “We celebrated our anniversary here and it was by far the best anniversary dinner. the staff was so nice and professional. the staff also went above and beyond with setting up the table(rose petals, a card, and heart confetti) and giving us goodies like champagne, a long stem rose, and even took our picture and printed it out for memories! I’ve tried a few places that just didn’t hit the mark—but AL SHAM in Chalfont is a straight 10/10!! They serve real Arabic bread (pita)—not tortillas disguised as pita like you find at other places—and their homemade Lebanese toum (garlic aioli) is the real deal. One bite of their falafel wrap instantly transported me to a boardwalk in Lebanon, overlooking the Mediterranean—complete with fresh bread, Lebanese pickles, and those perfect pickled turnips. The meat is 100% Halal and you can taste the quality. Flavorful, fresh, and clearly made with care. **This is the kind of spot you want to support. The crust was square deep dish chicago style, very good sauce. tons of cheese didn’t really taste the kale nevertheless, spot on! little on the expensive side.
Thai cauliflower wings , perfectly done, tender on the inside crispy tempura batter on the outside very good sauce
Spicy crab fries need work no crab flavor, kale was there but lacking flavor, plenty of cheese on fries, cheese was cold and the fries were little bit dry and cold.
The Fries are overpriced, thicker cut fries would be better.
The blueberry lemonade and a cucumber, mint lemonade a perfect combo with the pizza
This is a very nice place for takeout. The decor is right on with the whole mission. I read a chapter of the book while I was there Muhammad is inspiring.
I think it’s admirable the way they give back to the community. Hope that they will get some sit down seating in the future currently it has barstool and counter seating, would love to see some outdoor seating. Overall a nice experience, reason for four star atmosphere was a little bit loud hard to talk to my friend.
And as far as the food goes a little bit pricey overall, that’s just a personal opinion if it works for them that’s all that matters definitely will be back.“
