I’ve been disappointed with the soup at several other restaurants in the area, but Wild Ginger’s version of it is PHENOMENAL! Loaded with wonderful stock and truly having a sour taste with a subtle kick of spicy. (It’s surprising how many restaurants do not have both.) I could have made a meal out of it. Crispy outside, juicy inside like something that you'd see in an advertisement - but you actually get it. I had the steak, tenders, broccoli casserole and mashed. “We went on 2/8/25. Staying at the Hampton inn for a dance comp. Our waiter, unfortunately l, didn’t catch his name was absolutely AMAZING! More people kept getting added to our party, he, without hesitation, added more tables and chairs. He took our orders and separated the checks without us even asking. Becky’s Kitchen is truly one of the homiest, most welcoming little eateries you’ll ever step into! I had been here for lunch a few years ago, but my husband had never experienced it, so we decided to stop in for breakfast—and wow, am I glad we did.

The menu is wonderfully abundant for such a small, quaint place. Everything we ordered was fantastic. The pancake was the fluffiest we have ever had. The egg scramble—mine was the chicken, ham, and cheese—was absolutely delicious. The breakfast potatoes with onions were super flavorful and cooked perfectly. The staff is incredibly friendly and makes you feel right at home from the moment you walk in. And I absolutely love the self-serve coffee and tea bar—such a cozy touch!

We also peeked at the lunch menu and already know we’ll be back soon so my husband can try it out next. Becky’s Kitchen is a must-visit spot, whether you’re local or just passing through. Highly, highly recommended!“

Fast forward to last night: I stopped in for happy hour with a friend, and we grabbed seats at the bar. It was surprisingly comfortable and not overcrowded at all. The two bartenders were fantastic—warm, funny, and attentive. And the cocktails… OH MY GOSH. Just try them. You’ll thank me later! We ordered the calamari and crab risotto small plates, and they were so good that we immediately ordered a second round of the exact same thing. “This was a great find for a Friday night when we were trying to eat out with a group. The menu was extensive and we had several items we wanted to try. I had the French dip sandwich and fries and it was delicious. We also ordered the salmon, burger, and the grilled crab and cheese sandwich. All delicious. The burger was a bit overdone as it was ordered medium, but still tasted fine. Service was friendly and attentive and food came pretty quickly for a busy night. We would recommend!“

“My family eats only organic and very healthy. Bake our own breads organic from scratch etc. at home. We rarely eat out because most restaurants use junk ingredients. When we do eat out we eat pizza and subs. We travel to Angelino's in Philly, Franks in Baltimore, NJ, NYC we travel to eat the best pizza places known period. York County is not a desirable place for good pizza. However they're serving real flour here to make their fresh bread daily, make their pizzas etc. Unbleached and potassium bromate free. This makes the elasticity harder to work with which is why most pizza shops around here cut corners and use crap flour. I do recommend ordering the pies crispy for the absolute best presentation and taste. All the wood fire pizzas are very good as are the regular pies. Their cheesesteak sub which I tweaked to have provolone, chopped ribeye and fried onions versus white American is very good as well. Made with their fresh daily baked bread. Gold Crust always had the best cheesesteaks in town, they may have just gotten knocked off that block. Probably the only place we will eat pizza around here ever again for these reasons. Good job guys!!!“

“The Cove has been one of our top 3 restaurants for years. No doubt I would still recommend them to anyone BUT we were there on Friday and I was SO disappointed. They changed their fries! They used to be so crispy and good, double fried (I'm guessing) in peanut oil. Now they're just ordinary. I'm not generally a big fan of fries, but I loved theirs. I so hope they bring them back! ❤️“
