“This place was amazing! I would describe the food as artisanal. The combinations of ingredients, and actual preparation was superb. Seriously delicious food. The decor was cool, and there were three rooms with seat yourself tables. (At least three -- we didn't actually go into the "canal room," but I don't think there were more rooms beyond it.) The staff, and other patrons, were friendly in a comfortable way -- not artificial or creepy. We chose this place based on the great Yelp reviews, and I'm glad we did“

“Wife & I were spending Thanksgiving alone so we tried out the Salt Mine's Thanksgiving takeout specials - she got the turkey and I got the prime rib. Both were outstanding! Delicious, large portions, reasonable price and courteous, professional service when we picked it up. Coupled with some great wine, our Thanksgiving dinner turned out memorable. It is so great to finally have a quality local dining establishment. Thank you Salt Mine Public House. We will definitely be back!“

“If you want old school bar/pub that has a band with an eclectic feel, this is it. They are a unique space and welll worth the visit! Many excellent music acts. Tim Woods is a fav bit they have everything from rock to rockabilly. Open mic nights are hosted by Tim Woods and it is a lot of fun!! Lyndsay is the best bartender and Monty takes your cover(3bucks on weekends) but make sure to drop a buck or 2 in the tip jar for the musicians!! If you love music and atmosphere, get here!!!“

“My review is long overdue. I’ve been coming here for years and I can’t say enough good about this place. Keystone Kitchen is truly a community restaurant. You can expect to see the owners working here and coming out of the kitchen to say hi to the regulars and friends of the restaurant. The staff has remained the same for years, which is very telling of how they’re treated. It’s a good idea to check their Facebook page before heading over. They run a very transparent operation and will occasionally close if they are short staffed, rather than give a less than ideal experience to the customer. Support your local restaurants!“

“My fiancé and i stopped at the cool water after our engagement party, I noticed my wallet was missing the next morning, a couple that are regulars at this bar reached out to me on facebook that they found my wallet, as well as Andrea (bartender), nothing was missing from my wallet, cash cards, ect. I even offered to give the couple money for reaching out to me, and they would not accept it.I am forever greatful that there are good people in this world, this bar has the most trustworthy employees and regulars. “This might be one of the best breakfasts in the country! Even if you’re nowhere near Vandergrift, it’s worth the trip! It’s a cute restaurant, big but not too big. The coffee is pretty good and the prices are very reasonable. We had red velvet waffles with strawberries which was very good and the special was this strawberry pretzel salad French toast layered thing which was amazing! They always have amazing specials! Theres a reason this place wins awards - it’s that good!“

“Ajs has been around forever and I can remember going there as a child. The food has always been good. Service is usually good. The 4 stars is due to atmosphere. It's very small and there's always a wait at dinner time. I don't particularly care to be that close to other patrons at dinner but that's just my personal preference. If it weren't for this I'd rate a 5.“
