“Great food and absolutely great service. So friendly and attentive. We WILL be back! Party of 6. Apps were very good and included the raw oysters; oyster app and coconut shrimp. Dinners included Blackened Salmon; Salmon Tacos; Burger and special of the day - Barbecue Ribs. They were complimented with fresh veggies that were really different, fresh and yum. Bought a birthday cake. A little expensive but my, it was spectacular! We will be back“

“We had The Bally Hotel cater my daughter’s birthday party on Saturday and the food was excellent and plentiful! The owner was super easy to work with and accommodating with what we wanted for the menu. They provided us with the chafing dishes which kept our food warm until we ate which was almost an hour and a half after we picked it up. The food was also perfectly packed so there were no issues with any spilling during transport. Would highly recommend having The Bally Hotel cater your next event. You won’t be disappointed!“

“We love Gatsby's and definitely recommend! The food is delicious and our absolute favorite, hands down, is the SoulJoel Burger. It's not your ordinary burger and I believe they said it was made with 3 different meats. So juicy and just the best burger I have ever had in my opinion. See for yourself and I am sure you will agree! They also offer games to play at your table for some extra fun for kids and adults. Prices are reasonable too. It's now one of our favorite spots! If you haven't been, check it out!“

“We had a lovely time at the Duck Inn tonight! Our server, Kyleigh D, was so accommodating and didn't even blink when I needed to change an order. The staff all around was lovely, even when some miserable lady caused a scene and embarrassed herself. They handled it very professionally. My kiddo loved going down to the water to see the ducks and stand on the dock. The food was good bar fare and we were seated in a quieter area which worked out well with the kids. All around a good experience!“

“I ordered the chicken cheesesteak with garlic parmesan fries and everything was absolutely delicious. The food tasted fresh and was clearly made to order. The cheesesteak was flavorful and well-seasoned, and the fries were perfectly crispy with just the right amount of garlic and parmesan. Definitely a spot to check out!“

“It was our first time trying the Sumneytown Hotel. Hands down amazing! The ambience was relaxing, and the building is beautiful. The food and service were phenomenal! The flavors of the food just went together so well and the presentation was beautiful! Also, the clams were cleaned thoroughly, not grainy at all! Great wine options too. Our server, Jamie, was very nice and extremely attentive. Her service was top notch. She gave very good recommendations on the food and was very knowledgeable. I highly recommend coming here for flavorful food, a relaxing night, incredible service and good drinks! We will be back! We had: Burrata Salad (Special) Cilantro and Jalapeño Clams (Special) Goat Cheese Bites Sweet Potato Gnocchi Hot Chicken Sandwich“

“Great food served with a side of excellent service! Abby was phenomenal. She has a warm and friendly personality but more significantly, a tremendous sense of humor. When I get the feeling a server can handle my wackiness, when I ask for honey mustard for my fries, I specify “mustard honey.” She smiled and said Sure!
My in-laws got their usual, a White Russian sandwich and a burger. My wife got a French Dip type of sandwich, and I ordered a French Onion Soup with a side of curly fries. When Abby brought out our food she saved mine for last, and she said “here’s your mustard honey.” She sat down a bottle of honey and a bottle of mustard. The four of us busted up laughing because the joker got PUNKED! But yes, I did get the real thing.
As usual our food was served hot and was very tasty. It wasn’t just punking me that made me appreciate her. Abby truly enjoys people, which reflects on the exceptional level of service she provides. Servers like Abby are rare these days, and I trust management will pass on our complements. And I hope I spelled her name correctly because it could be Abbie. Either way she rocks!

“I went to LongHorn Steakhouse in Pottstown on 8/1/26. My server Cassidy was attentive and thorough. She kept checking on us constantly and refilling our drinks when we didn't have to ask. Everything was very delicious! The only thing that was bad the bathroom really smelled and felt like I was going to throw up.“

“Love this place! Akin to a reclaimed biker bar.
Great place for casual meals and drinks, but expect potential wait times for a table on Friday and Saturday nights (during prime time).
Their menu of grilled cheese is off-the-hook! My favorite is the cajun meatloaf grilled cheese, or the Carolina BBQ grilled cheese (with cole slaw). Great rotating craft beers too.“

“At first glance, the Palm looks like what could best be described as your typical country dive bar - which it sort of is, but with some pleasant enhancements. The decor in the bar area is unique, there is a quote regarding the love of music overhead as you walk through to the traditional seating. I can't explain the allure of the place exactly, only that it's got that "slowed down" vibe that seems to be lost in a world of 2025 chain bars/gastropubs. Admittedly, I have always been a sucker for places like this - but the Palm did not disappoint. We were a party of 5, my wife, myself, our three kids (12, 7, 3) and while we were the only family with young kids in there at the time (and my 3-year-old was absolutely post-nap second energy wind) nobody seemed to mind. They have a chalkboard with daily soup specials that looked like someone took the time to make fancy. The food was typical of a bar, I wouldn't say it was out of this world (I had the diablo burger) but it was above-average for a bar setting. My daughter had the kids burger which was sort of lack-lustre, my wife had a roast beef sandwich (complete with sides of horseradish and Au Jus) which was not only massive, but "really really good" and let me tell you she's the food critic between us. I liked that the floors are sort of worn, it aided in the atmosphere feeling like your local family pub. Service was great, and that's considering that the bartender was alone, with 6-8 people at the bar, and probably another 12-15 people seated at the table. She was a rock star and absolutely the reason we will be back. I liked this place, a lot - give it a try!“

“My wife and I went to the Trappe recently. We hadn't been in years because we felt that the food quality had fallen off. However, a friend had recently told me that he had a good experience with their their two for Tuesday special, so we decided to give it a try.
We were pleasantly surprised. My wife got the ribs and I got the salmon. Both came with two fresh side salads of our choice, Cajun corn, and mashed potatoes.
I really enjoyed the salmon in my wife also equally enjoyed the ribs.
We had a nice evening and the prices were reasonable. My wife had a $12 drink and I had a diet Coke and all told with a 20% tip the bill came out to a little over $70 which is not bad in this day and age.
The atmosphere of the trap hasn't changed much over the years, which is kind of charming in its own way.
We will definitely consider going back again and getting the special.“

“My niece Deb and I were there with my friend Violet and her son Matthew for Easter. We all had the buffet, it was very good. We all enjoyed our meals. The waitress was very polite and sweet. My niece Deb and I like to go on Fridays for the soup and salad bar. The New England Clam chowder is Super Delicious!!! All the workers were very nice.“

“We really enjoyed it here. It’s a place we have maybe passed 1000 times and just never stopped in. We are changing that now. The food was amazing. I had the roast beef sandwich and it was amazing! Highly recommend it!
The pulled pork was very good as well!
The waitress was good but could tell she was busy and distracted a little.
I like how this place has a bar and restaurant side. So you can bring kids in and sit down and enjoy eating here or could go sit at the bar on the other side.

“This is easily the best option for food at the mountain. There's a kids menu that is reasonably priced with options like grilled cheese, cheeseburger, ham and cheese. Fountain machine for sodas as well as a cooler with bottled drinks.
For breakfast, the buffet is a good value as it includes coffee and kids 10 and under are free.
The manager Jordan is ever present and super helpful, ensuring the service is excellent. He kindly helped us when my kid dropped his hot chocolate. Even got the kid a new hot chocolate, which was not necessary but very much appreciated. All of the staff here are very friendly and ensure a good family experience for meals.“
