“The staff from greeting to bussing and service were "on point." Jonnie was very knowledgeable, kind and aware. Reading other reviews... this is a very kid friendly buffet with some parent friendly options. Food was good. If we wanted steak cooked to a different temperature al we had to do was ask. They had a live action pasta station, this was a nice touch and convenient way to "expand their offerings." Price is appropriate if you want buffet style dining, otherwise there are other options on property. They had mocktails for the kids. Someone put some thought in adding this upgrade for the kiddos, good awareness!“

“Love, love, love this place! The question should be what don't I recommend and the answer is NOTHING! We stayed at the b&b so had the opportunity to have several breakfasts, plus we ate dinner here a couple evenings. Mark is a fabulous chef with a grasp of fun and tasty food combinations. Breakfasts offerings were from traditional to comfort to just plain fabulous. The dinner menu is compiled weekly by Mark and it makes you want to eat here several times in order to try the various dishes. On separate occasions we had a couple of the lemon cocktails, the fois Gras appetizer, curry soup, sea bass (phenomenal), lobster pasta, prosciutto flat bread, chop and both desserts. Everything was absolutely delicious! We needed a few more nights in order to sample more of the menu! I highly recommend eating here, and if possible on more than one occasion!“

“My family has been a multi-year patron of Andrew Moore's Stone Bar Inn. Most of our dining visits. whether a table for two, or my entire family together at one time, have been top-notch first-class dining. We've enjoyed both the indoor and outdoor dining experience. We've enjoyed trying out each room for dining. We even did the old "kitchen experience table" many years ago as a birthday gift from my family. We, DW and I decided to celebrate our 43'rd wedding anniversary this past Thursday evening. Everything was once again "top notch" as we had hoped. Adn we even helped Bruce at the bar enjoy his 88th birthday! Table snacks and rolls? Perfect! Drinks? Very very nice. Apps and dinner were just as hoped for. Cooked perfectly and served hot and right on time. The music man started laying at 6 and was a ton of fun and I complimented him for his playing and singing "in tune"! Just to repeat; this was The Stone Bar Inn at it best and our servers and dinners and atmosphere choice (sitting in the bar area) made for a perfect 43rd anniversary celebration. Our 45-minute drive was not too far to go for the evenings experience, and we will do it again soon!“

“Absolutely blown away by the food! Probably the best restaurant I’ve visited this far. The food was exceptional. I ordered the Chilean Sea Bass and the chocolate cake. They sat us right next to the water, which I loved! We had an amazing view of the sky turning pink as the sun set. Our waiter was also very sweet and ensured that we were taken care of.“

“Of all the places you can eat in this area & Poconos, make sure you make your way here! Trust me.? This was my favorite restaurant . The first time was for dinner & everything was so delicious that we came back for brunch another day.? the ambiance & atmosphere is beautiful. Great decor.? our waitress was amazing. Always had a smile on? our favorite dish was the jerk chicken Mac & cheese! It’s made perfectly. Got it 2X!? the Sage cornbread was delicious! Loved the strawberry butter.? Aprils steak salad was great.
