“We had a solid lunch at Fireside Restaurant during our stay at Great Wolf Lodge in the Poconos. The cozy, north woods lodge vibe with the fire elements is perfect after a long day at the waterpark. I ordered the Honey Salmon (without the bourbon) and it was excellent…nicely grilled, flaky, sweet honey glaze, and paired perfectly with the buttered brown rice pilaf and fresh seasonal vegetables.

Our server was friendly and attentive. Prices are typical for resort dining (a bit high), but overall a tasty and relaxing experience. We’ll be back next visit. Highly recommend for families.“

“Jen’s food is beyond incredible. It’s FRESH, hot and delicious. I order trays of them twice a year for family gatherings - no one has ever been disappointed. The dessert empanadas are so tasty, and the perfect sweetness. If you’re lucky and she’s making zeppoli, get those fast!!

But the rice balls. The rice balls. Holy moly, the cheese in the middle is gooey and melty, and add that marinara sauce 😍 I wanted to drink it with a straw.

Follow the train. Go to the outlets. Whatever way you do - eat Jen’s empanadas and rice balls. They will not disappoint“

“I went to this diner with 9 of my friends. We had reserved a table which was set up for us when we arrived. Orders were taken for our drinks immediately and after looking at the menu (which is extensive) we ordered. Our server was phenomenal!! The food came quickly and was a combination of breakfast and lunch orders. No mixed up orders and hot food. Our drinks were refilled without asking. I ordered sausage gravy and biscuits which was delicious. Everyone complimented the chef. The orders were huge and most left with boxes. If you are looking for a really good place to eat that is very reasonable definitely go to this diner.“
