“The absolute BEST PIZZA!! But was it just pizza? No, no it was so much more than a slice of pizza. I was dancing in the restaurant while whole heartedly enjoying the slice of one of the best slices of pizza I have ever had! I barely made it to the table before the slice was in my hands! We ate in the restaurant but ment to take it to go! If that’s not an indication of how good the pizza was I don’t know what else to say. Before I could leave out of the door into the snow to let the employees finish cleaning without my dancing and mmmmm’s being a distraction I am walking to the exit with pizza still in hand because I could not put the slice down!!!! All the while calling a friend that lives nearby for him to order pizza for himself ! Would rate 10/10 already have recommended and trying to figure out any excuse to come back from Ohio immediately“

“We got to the breakfast buffett and were seated in Christians section, where he created us immediately and took our drinks order. I want to thank Christian for being so kind to my mom and going above and beyond! The food was decent. Cobbler was delicious. But the service we received from him was nothing short of perfect. He was moving the whole time working and we never had an empty cup. The experience was great!“

“Found this restaurant on line and it definitely lives up to the reviews I read. The food was delicious, the owner spoke with us and we asked for any recommendations of food choice and she advised us well. From our main course to dessert the food was delicious, all homemade. The bread was out if this world! Definitely will be back to visit when I am in the area again!“

“If you’re looking for phenomenal food in the Pocono’s, Tom’s Country Kitchen is it! I only started getting food from here as of recently. I can’t believe I’ve been missing out on this deliciousness all these years I’ve lived here. Now I can’t wait to check their FB to see the special’s. “My husband and I brought a ton of our friends here the morning after our wedding nearby and had a great breakfast! The food was exactly what we needed, so good, the staff was so friendly and accommodating of our bigger party, and the restaurant has a great atmosphere. They put our leftover wedding cake in the fridge and brought it out for us after we finished our scrapple. Can't thank them enough for their hospitality!“

“We ordered fried calamari for an appetizer it was cooked perfectly! Since it was our fist time here we decided to try the Mamma Maria’s Special pizza which was delicious and they definitely did not skimp on the toppings!!! We also ordered a chicken cheese steak with peppers onions and mushrooms had amazing flavor! Last we got two cannolis to go and they were the best cannolis we’ve ever had. Great service and food came out fast! We were only in the area for the weekend if we are to ever return to the area we would definitely come back here again!!“

“I do love their food here—it’s just very expensive. I got a small chicken massaman curry and crab rangoons, and everything was phenomenal. It cost about $25. You could definitely make two meals out of it, but if you’re really hungry, you could easily eat it all in one sitting.“

“I had a wonderful experience from start to finish. Firstly the temperature outside and inside was well balanced and I thought the varnishing of the bar complimented this greatly. This was a good break from finding a room mate at college. I ordered my steak raw and it was delicious. I love eating it raw. Hope to be back soon with my boyfriend and his sons.“

“Our first visit to Derailed Taphouse was fantastic, thanks to our server, Nico. We were a party of seven celebrating a birthday, and from start to finish our service was impeccable. Nico was attentive without ever being overbearing, super friendly, kept great conversation, and made sure every single order was correct. He checked in at all the right times, kept drinks filled, and genuinely made us feel welcomed. He turned a good meal into a great experience, and because of him we’ll absolutely be back. Food was also really good!“

“We’re not from the area and this restaurant came highly recommended for the best pizza around.
We came here on a Friday night. There weren’t many single slices available. But our awesome waitress said we could get a whole specialty pizza and do 2 different types. So we did that and we’re glad we did. We had leftovers the next night! The price was more than fair. About $20 for a specialty pizza and 2 sodas. Wow!!!
We didn’t get to try any craft beer but that had plenty to choose from! Nice atmosphere. We would definitely come back if we’re in the area again!“

“Went in for a cheesesteak with peppers and onions. They were able to make it a wrap for me. It was cooked perfect. It wasn't super greasy, which I do not like. The peppers were banana peppers and I gotta say it was really good with them. They were very accommodating with my order. Will be back.“

“The Frogtown Chophouse was a nice, little establishment that we discovered in the Poconos. It’s only a few minutes away from Mt Airy Casino Resort. The food & drinks were good, especially the crab cake dinner. Our server was also very personable. The dark chocolate sea salt frogs were a cute touch for after dinner. 🐸“

“Been eating here for a couple years now at least. HANDS DOWN BEST OXTAILS WITHIN 90 miles! I eat everywhere- Scranton, Wilkes-barre, Stroudsburg, Allentown, NONE COME EVEN CLOSE. I stay in Scranton area and take the 40 min drive for these $35 oxtails RELIGIOUSLY. And they NEVER DISAPPOINT. Portions are great. Food taste amazing. This place is truly a hidden gem 5 STARS ACROSS THE BOARD. Blessings!“
