“I love this bar. I’ve visited for years, since I moved to the area. It’s a quick lunch spot and a great place for late night refreshments. And the soups!!!! The patio was a beautiful addition that I have really enjoyed the past few summers. This year’s addition of palms and tiki umbrellas has created an even more relaxing environment. All of the employees are incredibly friendly and quickly get to know you. It’s welcoming. Also, I feel safe going here alone. The owners are generous in supporting their local community and neighbors. They have helped me on multiple occasions host fundraisers for various charities I am involved with or they have made donations. Truly a locally owned small business/gem of Dunbar that you should try. If you’re new to the area, you just might make new friends. If you’re stopping through, you’ll be welcomed. I almost forgot, this is my favorite place to feel the holiday spirit. Halloween is an event and Christmas is a popup bar/holiday vibe. Seriously, the inside is covered in Christmas lights. Multicolored. You’ll love it.“

“Love the new ownership, really turning the space around. They finally have a fully stocked bar, new food menu. The same great wing deals, and amazing sauces. The new Manager is friendly and welcoming. The new owners are so welcoming, so friendly. They greet everyone that comes in and introduces themselves. The new changes to the bar really create a great atmosphere. Definitely recommend giving Rumors a stop and see what the talk is all about! Finally feel like we have a safe space again, I travel from Morgantown. It’s good to have a space run by community members who care and want to have a good time!“

It is impossible to find another location in town that comes close to approaching the quality of food in the first place, but the sheer variety of food means that you will always be coming back for more.... and just when you think you know the whole menu, seasons change and they bring in even more goodies. UBC has been my first choice for a nice dinner for years now and I can't see them losing that spot anytime soon. Top marks.“

“For a small roadside bar the food is really really great! I'm a wings snob and the wings here check ALL my boxes! Friends also enjoyed the burgers. We have been twice and service was great. Last night there was one bartender and live music so it wasn't slow, but the bartender (sadly, I didn't get her name) was ON TOP OF IT! We NEVER waited for a refill and she often checked in on our large group to make sure we had all we needed. We WILL be back!“

Fries with a little brown: ITS ALL IN THERE! A great mix of all kinds. WOW, did they nail this where so many fail. We hit this place on a Thursday at 1:00 specifically looking for a burger and they KNOCKED IT OUT OF THE PARK! My Wife and I both had a burger and fries which was the thursday lunch special for $6.50!!!! I had a half and half tea and she had an incredibly refreshing fountain coke. I think with tip were were out of there for a little over $20. Finding either the perfect medium cooked burger or the perfect batch of fries is rare enough but DAMN!, when you find them together, you have hit on something. Look UNIONTOWN, forget fast food for Thursday lunch! Get your butts in here and keep this great local business going. I live 150 miles away and I will be back. UNIONTOWN, you have something special in this place. BURGER UP!“
