“I recently dined at The Melting Pot and was thoroughly impressed by their Vegan fondue offering. The experience was exceptional from start to finish. The staff provided outstanding service, showing great knowledge and attentiveness towards our dietary preferences. They guided us through the menu, ensuring we enjoyed a delicious and satisfying meal while adhering to our vegan lifestyle. The Vegan fondue itself was beyond amazing, boasting a rich and flavorful taste that exceeded our expectations. With such a positive experience, it's safe to say we'll be returning to The Melting Pot for more culinary delights in the future.“

“Updated review since coming for dinner on a Sunday night when our other plans fell through, and neither of us wanted to cook. We had a GREAT time sitting at a high top by the bar. I enjoyed my cocktail. The kale salad was delicious and so large we got four servings out of it (one each for dinner, and again with our leftovers). Look at hubby mugging over this enormous tower of food that is the Dante's Beak "handheld" with a Nashville hot chicken thigh. (It is very hot--they're not lying.) And then there were the pumpkin gnudi: so soft, so creamy, so pillowy. Alas, they didn't travel or heat up well, but in the moment, they were heavenly. Prices were fair for service, food, drink, and ambience. Men's room is at the back, women's room is on the righthand side of the dining room. We'll definitely return when we're in Regent Square again.“

“Awesome vibes and food! This place was spotlessly clean and well lit, everyone is incredibly friendly, service staff and even the cooks were so helpful, welcoming, and kind! We got homemade meatballs, zucchini tower, and homemade tiramisu and every single single was just to die for!!! Drinks were strong and cheap and the pool table is well taken care of!Kid-friendliness: High chairs available, bar in the front and laid back dining area in the back“

“This was a mixed bag. There were 8 of us. Parking is sufficient, right off 88, not hard to find. Easy wheelchair access. After ordering, you seat yourself. They don't take reservations. Waitresses bring your drinks & food to the table. You order at a cafeteria counter, but the food is upscaled. They smoke their own meats outside in the parking lot. The menu is varied with brisket & pulled pork as the smoked products served in familiar as well as new formats like a pulled pork taco. Smelled great, but I was determined to try the buttered lobster roll. It was amazing! Small, tender bun stuffed with the meat of 1 lobster all in butter, unfortunately I did bite into a small bit of shell. Hubby tried the lentil, ham, veggie soup. It was a pretty large bowl & really good. His entree was a shaved ribeye sandwich, also excellent, although I thought it could have had more meat. Crispy, salted waffle fries were terrific. Others had burger, small plate salmon dinner, crab cake - everyone was pleased. The desserts were not very good. Creme Brulee & cheesecake were good, cookies & brownies were hard, not good.Overall, I would go back again. Next trip I will be trying those tacos.“

“We did takeout and this was some of the best pizza in the area. The calzone we ordered was also delicious. I was hesitant to try the cheese steak, since I love a Philly style cheese steak, but was happily surprised at how good it was. This will definitely not be our last time ordering from Crust.“

“It's alright. The food is on the better side of average, but all said and done, it's a pretty standard Gastropub. Worth it if you are in the area, but I wouldn't go out of my way. Seems like it is more focused on the weekend brunch crowd, and I went for dinner.“
“Went for a girl’s night out, had a few flights and sandwiches. Food was really good and beer was fantastic. My fav is Those Winter Sundays. Reminds me of Andes Candies, very smooth. Friendly bar tenders. All around good experience.. will go again soon!“

“This is a must try if you’re in the area. If you live here, it should be on your short list for lunch take out, lunch meat, catering, quick groceries, bread… the list goes on. The food is absolutely phenomenal and will not leave you hungry. Each item is made with so much detail and most lunch orders come with a side or two. Fresh bread, great looking pastries, and so much more. The staff is friendly and always willing to help. We catered a Thanksgiving with Family Deli, and everyone who we had over was in love with the food.Vegetarian options: Great weekly vegetarian option as well as many things on the regular menu, and made to order.“

“Good coffee. I didn't try anything else. Friendly ladies at the counter. Parking is kind of a pain. It's not horrible, but you have to pay. Even on Saturday. I can remember a time when small towns would help their tax paying businesses by not charging for parking on the weekends. Thanks commiecrats.“

“This place. What a spot, in Pitts for the weekend, stumbled upon this place the first night for dinner. Was so good and our server Nick was an absolute beauty. We ended up coming back again. That’s right, twice in a weekend. Buddy Nick even helped us out with ideas where to go.This is a spot I’ll recommend anyone comes too. Headwiches, smoked wings. And Blueberry beer baby. 100% this is the spot for some good food and drinks.Let’s goo.“

“We decided to stop in this past Saturday on February 3rd, around 7:00. There was one patron at the bar. We had a group of three and sat at a table. The guy working was fun and personable. He let us know all about the food and helped us in making a decision. We had the dry rub Cajun wings, steak salad and pizza. Everything came out quick was totally amazing! They had a decent beer selection. I will definitely be referring people to try this place out as it was some of the best food we've had at a bar restaurant in a long time! The place is super clean also as well as the bathrooms. They did a lot of renovations in here compared to the many short-lived bars that were in this location previously.“

“I read some good reviews about this place, so I stopped in for carry-out for lunch on a Monday. The folks working there were GREAT! Really friendly and they explained how they make much of their food. I was tempted by their chicken tenders, so I asked if they used frozen chicken tenders and they not only said “no” and explained how they made them, they just happened to be making a batch of fresh tenders and showed me the fresh chicken breasts they use to make them. I ordered their Nashville Hot tenders and they were AMAZING! The breading was very light and flavorful and the dry Nashville Hot seasoning was spicy… very tasty!!I also got their Deluxe Italian sub, half size and it was excellent! Very fresh ingredients and the sub came together great… Very Nice!!This place is carry-out only, but they do deliver and they do prepare food rather quickly. Highly recommend! I’ll definitely return!!“

“The food was good (but not great), and the service was generally good, but I do feel like we were "checked in on" more than usual, which was a tad annoying. All in all, a good place for some standard American-Italian fare.Vegetarian options: I love the make your own with mushroom sauce and broccoli! They have some other options, but that's my go-to. Definitely harder to find good vegan options, but vegetarian is pretty decent“

“We ordered on the Toast app. It was easy. We got a large chicken bacon ranch pizza, a dozen of seasoned wings and chicken tenders and fries. The food was delicious and still hot when we got home. “This is hands down the best Thai restaurant in the Dormont/Mt. Lebanon area. Quick delivery, tasty food.I’m a big fan of spicy Basil Leaf with beef and their Tom Yum soup with chicken (appetizer size), but they make a lot of great dishes. My wife loves the Pad Thai with tofu, Crab Rangoons and bubble tea.If you have a cold, try the Tom Yum Noodle Soup Bowl with chicken (dinner portion). You get the broth and chicken separate from the noodles and veggies so nothing is soggy, and there’s easily enough for 2-3 massive bowls of soup — especially if you order extra meat or veggies. A life saver when you’re sick.“

“Awesome hidden gem in Bridgeville. Ordered the Filipino Lumpia egg rolls and the Laurel sauced chicken wings. Lumpia was excellent and fresh tasting. "Laurel" is buffalo with old bay seasoning. Perfectly cooked and juicy. Cool atmosphere with small bar pool table. Great time!“

“First time here. This place had recently opened up. Been wanting to stop here. So we decided to make this our place of choice for dinner. We stopped and I ordered a 12" chicken hoagie, 6" chicken hoagie, side of pierogi, side of chicken salad, 6x6 square thick pepperoni pizza, came with two breadsticks and a chocolate chip cookie. It all came to $24. I was like did you get my entire order and she did. I was confused on why it was so darn cheap. She said 30 minutes.I left to go home and come back. I arrived back and it still wasn't ready. It took 45 minutes. When I seen how small the sides were. Sides aren't a meal of it's own. It was incredibly small. Like 3 inches small round plastic container. You need to have a full meal. Due to this, I had to go and get french fries elsewhere for my daughter. Now how was the food? The hoagie I thought was very good. The pizza was okay, but very small. It wasn't thick at all. It was probably 2 " in size for 4 slices, not 6. Not sure what 6x6 is but whatever. They're starting off and they need good solid business. 2 people were working, maybe the owner and a young lady. They were doing a good job. However they seemed a little distracted and confused at times.“

“While the pizza itself was good but pretty average (and could have used a bit more sauce for my taste), my first experience here was fantastic! I was so so impressed to see all staff wearing masks correctly - everyone, even those not interacting with the public. Aside from the masks and overall cleanliness of the space, I was impressed by their accurate and honest wait times. I called during a busy time and was told it would be about 40 min, and it was really close to that. The staff was friendly, and the pizza had plenty of toppings. Just a great experience! Next time I'll ask for extra sauce and see if this can be a five star pizza stop.“
“This place has become a regular spot for us. It's great to finally have something so close by that has great beer, food, service, and atmosphere. The outdoor seating is fantastic when the weather cooperates. The menu has a great selection of pub style food that hits weigh above its weight class. Everything I've had here has surprised me in a very positive way. It's a great place to visit whether you have a group of friends or a family with kids. On this visit we had the fried pickles, club sandwich wrap, and the citrus salad. All of it was delicious. I forgot to take a pic of the wrap but it looked great and tasted even better.“

“Definitely recommend eating here or getting food to-go! I had just gotten in from a road trip at 12 minutes til closing and they were super nice enough to accommodate me with a to-go order. The food tasted pretty good (not amazing, but it's the end of the day and they gave me extra breadsticks instead of soup/salad). Portions are easily enough for 2 meals. The service was amazing and quick, and I was out of there before they officially closed. The people who worked there were very friendly. My only regret is that I tried to leave a tip for the cooks since I was there late and I learned that is their policy not to tip out cooks. I wish I could buy them a beer or something! Great place.“

“We ordered a large pepperoni while our son was inpatient at Children’s and it was delivered through DoorDash. The pizza was so good! We are from Upstate NY and have lived in Pittsburgh for 7 years and have yet to find anything truly close to NY style pizza, until now. It’s been almost a month since we ordered the pizza and I still think about how good it was often!“
“Exactly what you would expect from a Chick-fil-A! Fast, hot and tasty goodness from a friendly and efficient crew only it is on the Duquesne Campus! Plenty of seating on the 5th floor of the Student Union Building with nice views of the city. Closed on the weekends so get your grub on M-F! And don't forget the Chick-fil-A sauce!“

“I was quite a big fan of the gyros this place serves. Clearly, they make their food with some pretty high quality ingredients. Really fresh and tasty. The prices are also pretty reasonable. Okay menu variety for a food truck. I just tried their gyro with homemade tzatziki. The gyro was definitely well made. Portion was very adequate. The meat was well prepared and well seasoned. Not too spicy, but still flavorful. Pita was relatively average. The tomatoes and vegetables were very fresh and crisp, which I enjoyed. The tzatziki sauce was also so well made. It was super creamy and had an incredible, fresh flavor. Little bits of cucumber. So refreshing, and perfectly compliments the meat. Not too fatty. Great, and they gave you 2 small containers for them, which is a great deal. Clearly homemade. All in all, definitely liked this spot. Homemade, delicious meals with lots of healthy food. I definitely love this spot.Dietary restrictions: Lots of great healthy options, and great options for a Mediterranean diet.“

“This is a nice, clean restaurant with friendly staff and generally good food. (One of my few bad experiences was an unripened avocado on my chipotle chicken avocado sandwich.)My one complaint is they keep the thermostat very low, in both summer and winter. In summer, I’ve been there when they had their fireplace on but the ac on so low to the extent that I had to wear a coat I happened to have in my car. I’ve mentioned this to staff a few times, but it’s always the same. And it’s not just me. I see others eating with their coats on as well. Maybe they don’t want people staying more than the time it takes to finish their food?Anyway, also a waste if money on electricity that they could use for better things than to freeze out customers.“

“Great wings. No batter coating, fried to crispy and juicy inside with a good variety of sauces and dusts available. Fried mushrooms, and loaded fries are also wonderful. They often have sandwich specials but the sandwiches themselves aren't that special. Good selection of bottled and canned beer but no keg drafts. I got there just as the shift was changing and the bar was a mess, sticky, crumbs, etc., but the incoming bartender thankfully cleaned it up immediately. It's a dive bar, certainly not a place to take a date, but it's low key, inexpensive, big screen TV, and mostly friendly locals early in the evening. I wouldn't know about later in the evening though I hear it gets rowdy, we older folk like to be home by 8.“

“I went here with my parents yesterday for dinner. We all ordered Brisket on weck and I got the tater tot casserole as a side. The sandwich its self was really good. The bun was fresh and perfect for the brisket. There was a generous portion of brisket on the sandwich and the brisket was tender and just melted in your mouth. The tater tot casserole was way better than I expected it to be. The waitress said it had tomato's in it so I was unsure how I'd like it but I trusted her judgment and it ended up being so good! Are service was great our waitress was wonderful. The food came out really quick and our drinks were always filled! I'll definitely be back especially when it is nicer out and I can bring my dog and sit outside.“
