“We celebrated a birthday today at Jasmine Asian Bistro. I saw the menu online offered "vegetable" offerings with imitation meats. We were presented with the regular menu and when I asked for the vegetable menu it was presented in less than 15 sec. We all selected dishes from this menu and everything was delicious! This is a gem of a restaurant and hope to return. They also brought a dish of ice cream and cookie and sang Happy Birthday to my son!“

“SIMPLY THE BEST CHINESSE RESTAURANT IN THE AREA. We go all the way from Hatboro to this place because is good. They put lots of different vegetables. It is the best in this area. It is not gourmet but the average Chinese restaurant is the best. The people is super nice. The guy cooking is real Chinese and you can tell that he cares. You go to other places, and they just put a bunch of broccoli with a little bit of sauce and they call it Vegie Mix, here, you get a variety of vegetables. The food WAS NOT salty at all, natural.“

“Got a general tso combo platter. Super fast, the staff is very friendly, and the portion size is easily double anywhere else in east mount airy for a dollar or two less. Downside is the chicken was not crispy, and it was barely in the box for 5 minutes so i know it didnt get soggy that way. Also the fried rice and egg roll were only so so. Because of the huge portion im having some of the chicken for lunch the next day, 100 percent better cold so it isn't soggy.“

“Angie Baker is full of it dude, idk never once had an issue in 8+ years, never once caught a stray order, the worst that ever happened to us with our meticulous instructions is that they gave us the wrong soda, and when I let them know they told us to keep it, brought us the correct one. The general tsos are super good and have a nice flavor and consistency and the wings are also great. I prefer their fried rice as a side to their lo mein but can't go wrong with either. While there's other dishes I love these are the must haves, I highly recommend checking this place out if you're in the area and hungry for some Chinese takeout. Remember though, it's cash only.“

“I've been ordering here since 2007, when I used to live in Silly Philly years ago. This was and still is the best spot to grub. When I am in town I don't hesitate to get my sesame and general tso on, taking some back home as well. Where I live now my spot is called" Asian Yummy ", the only equivalent to " Hot Wok ", but Hot wok will always be first. They need to expand!! I would invest into a chain of Hot woks!!!!“

You can’t expect perfection every time. My mother always loves the General Tso’s chicken and they make it nice and mild for her. With Alzheimer’s, many times it’s difficult to get her to eat, but she will always eat heartily when we get Formosa’s.“

“I have eaten hundreds of jjambong in restaurants all across the United States. I cannot believe the best jjambong I have ever eaten is in a tiny H mart food stall. You can taste the ‘wok hey’ smoky flavor in every bite. Both the soup base and noodles rival that of classic Chinese restaurants in Korea. The quantity of seafood is acceptable for the price. Their jjajang is also very good.

I would recommend the tofu jjambong and jjajang rice that comes with egg omelet.

As someone who is moving to a different city soon, this place will be sorely missed.

I would definitely recommend... it is a perfect place for lunch which I get almost every work day. You can order off the menu or get something from the hot bar... “Jade Island is a staple to the area, it's been around for quite awhile. We used to get sushi elsewhere, typically at restaurants in Doylestown, but JI has rebranded themselves and it is doing them wonders! I highly recommend the Ninja Turtle roll (if you like spicy) and the Pink Panties (for your softer side haha) and don't forget to pickup your seaweed salad!“

Your mind can't even wrap around how good it is! House Lo Mein also good but the noodles were slightly overcooked. Prices are low, portions generous and the staff is friendly. They are open till midnight. You won't find a better spot open this late in the area.“
