There's no fancy decor or seating as it's take-out only but Kyle the owner and mixologist has a welcoming personality so you don't mind watching him prepare your order. We drank most of our smoothies before we walked out anyway. “Addicted to this place. What a neighborhood gem! The smoothies and acai bowls are so fresh. In fact all the food they make tastes fresh, and flavorful. I always get the grilled chicken wrap. The folks who work there have great customer service. It may take a bit of time to get your food because they make it from fresh fruit/from scratch. It is well worth the wait plus the price is very reasonable. I would highly recommend it.“

“A good place to get a smoothie bowl, but it just missed the mark in total. The service was acceptable, and I am impressed with how steady they were during lunch. The bowl itself was pretty good quality for the granola and toppings, but the base was pretty bland and overly frozen instead of freshly blended. Lastly, the seats are terrible. None of them are comfortable, and some of them are weird heights compared to the tables they're at. It's not a place I'd hang out at due to that.

“Food is good and smoothies are very good. It isn't fine food but is carefully prepared. I've been to two of their stores and the staff was very accommodating at both. We ordered our meals with changes to the menu and there was no hesitation to do it. One smoothie had a lot if ice in it. They remade it and when we were leaving and my wife went to buy a cookie, the server said take it since we weren't satisfied with the first smoothie.“

“I absolutely love this place been coming here on and off for about the past four months they do everything fresh, which I love from their salads to the wraps their fajitas and their smoothies top-notch and the value is really great. You get decent size portions, and you’re not gonna break the bank for healthy food. This is no-brainer and the staff is really nice. Great people that work the counter. The place is clean and there’s always parking.

“Playa Bowls really has such a cool and chill vibe, great food options if you want something fun and healthy, and the Wayne/Villanova location has really friendly workers! I tried this place out when I was looking for a healthy smoothie post-workout, and I enjoyed my smoothie and experience so much, that I downloaded their app to get reward points! Going to Playa Bowls is now my favorite post-workout treat. I’m looking forward to going there for breakfast or a midday snack to try out some of their fruit bowls“

“Absolutely love this adorable little tea shop! Today I tried the Strawberry Tea with strawberry popping bubbles. It was delicious and not overly sweet. Last time I had the Matcha Smoothie and it was amazing. Can't wait to visit again and try out their other drinks! The seating area is comfortable, very clean, and has the cutest bunny decor. ?? “

“The food and Boba are so tasty, if you go you must get the chicken gyosas. I rated the food a 4 though because sometimes when I get drinks, they need a bit more flavor. Like the fruity flurry and coffee tasted a but plain, but other than that the food is amazing. On the tack with the snacks, there is mochi too and the chocolate flavor is to die for. All the food is a must-have for a low price. The service is quick and very nice too. The atmosphere is also so great because they have comfy sofas and games to play which is really fun. This is definitely my go to place for a quick drink or a place to hang out with friends.

“I sat at the bar for a quick dinner by myself. The old fashioned was absolutely perfect. I asked the bartender for his quick food recommendation. He recommended the wings in the homey habanero sauce. I got them with a side of blue cheese and let me tell you they blew me out of the water. Fall off the bone goodness. The blue cheese dressing made in house was the perfect addition. Will return on my next business trip to Philly.

Parking: Had to circle the block twice to find a spot but well worth it.“

The space is dark, quiet and not particularly welcoming, but you can order food and you can tell they can cook. It is defintiely better than other spots in the city. Id recommend folks get it "To Go." They have Caribbean drinks to buy too.“

We ordered the 5 pcs chicken tender combo and the spicy chicken sandwich. Both were decent for what it was. They had a lot of special sauces for the chicken. Cool little drink place to hang out with friends and they even have free wifi if you need to get some work done.“

“I have been eating here every Sunday for several years. And then I shop. Everything tastes great, everything is organic, mostly wholegrain and it is 95% vegan and is an amazing bargain! Jammed Yam (sweet potato with quinoa, black beans, pineapple, mixed peppers, jalapenos, cilantro, avocado) has been my go to for a while now, but I do get other entrees from time to time. There is always a special and a soup and if you get there early you might be able to get one or two of their $.99 vegan wholegrain muffins. Yes, you can mix and match any ingredients or pay $.75 to get extra. I also get a kombucha refill in my growler.“

While I waited my kids read some of the children's books on a communal bookshelf. This place is bigger than it looks and I love that you enter through a secret garden of sorts. “A nice place on Chestnut Street near 33rd Street. They have the best dark coffee I ever tasted. I had a toasted everything bagel with cream cheese which was made perfect for my taste. I only wish they had more to offer in the way of food and to have a menu board in sight of the cash register. They only had plain cream cheese too. They need to add more choices and options.“

Many other bubble tea places use powders or syrups which I avoid. For about the same price as others you get a high quality drink with fresh fruit and can taste the difference. The owner is kind with an inspiring positive attitude, and you can see how much she cares about the quality of the food and drinks she serves.
