“On a rainy Friday we arrived and the free parking was welcomed. The waitress was very nice, accommodating and knowledgeable. The food was very good. We had pizza, wings, cheesesteak, artichoke sandwich, deep fried onion rings and the apple crisp. Only complaint, a bit too noisy. Hard to have conversation across the table. Cost of pizza a bit pricy. Would definitely return!“

“Have been going to Machs Gute for Saturday lunch cheesesteaks for years, and loved it. Had the need for a function and it had to be at Machs Gute. Peter and staff were great to work with, easy to plan and very attentive to our needs. Day of the celebration was great, got tons of compliments on the food and service. Can’t say enough! “Lived in Easton my whole life, stopped in here for the first time after a round of golf. I ordered the Delmonico sandwich not once, but TWICE because it was that god damn good and I needed one to go (I ate half of the 2nd sandwich on the way home). I don’t know who is cooking back there, but I’ve been here 27 years, and I can confidently say that is that best sandwich I’ve ever had in Easton.I’m telling you, get this if you're looking for a hearty sandwich: Delmonico sandwich, medium cooked steak, sautéed onions and American cheese. It’s absolutely phenomenal.“

“We were visiting from out of town and saw this place had karaoke so we went. Everyone was so friendly and the drinks were a good price. Service was fantastic. It reminded me of the little dive bar we have back home that closed down. If you're looking for a low key place, I definitely recommend this one. Maybe go bowling and stop here after!“

“Excellent food and drinks. Our favorite spot to go to, however, they have the worst service ever. The girls will come once and literally vanish for the remainder of the night. I usually have go up to them while they sit at the bar chitchatting to put in a new food/drink order or get my check. They need better wait staff, other than that best spot in the area for sure!“

“First time here, went based on great reviews. I had the cheesesteak with sauce, fried onions, sauce and banana peppers. The roll was excellent, full of seasoned meat and not overly sauced. I like to eat and would have been happy to stop after eating half but..I ate the whole thing...?‍♂️“

“My husband and I had dinner there last night. He had the Shrimp with garlic. I had the Vitello Dolce Vita which is running this month of April. Both were absolutely fantastic. Coupled with the homemade pasta they were both served over made both dishes so delicious. Pasta was light as a feather. We also had the calamari for an appetizer and it was cooked to perfection which is so hard to find at times. Huge portions! Service was great also! If you like Italian food and homemade pasta give them a try!“

“Love Porters’.It’s the great welcome to the west ward. Perfect in summer for sitting outside cozy and winter for hunkering down. One of the beating hearts of this part of town that’s really thriving. Plants and coffee cafe, Pesca Peru, Mystery Box games. It’s totally worth the walk up Northampton street.“

No salads or rolls came with the dish which were priced higher then other similar restaurants in the area. Beverage prices were also higher. Parking (metered on street) could be a problem depending on time.Overall experience was good but not worth their pricing.“

The tastes are on point here. They have a vegan dessert as well. Gluten free options are somewhat limited, but you can get a burger, nachos and tacos. (Tacos are only on Tuesdays sadly).“

“Folks will say this is a dive bar and I will tell you those people have never had a drink before eleven a.m. Joe's is a welcoming place no matter who you are or how thick your wallet is and it's probably the best place on the north side of Bethlehem that tourists haven't ruined yet. Best cheesesteak in Bethlehem and my wife swears by the Caesar salad. Also, don't sleep on the soups. They are gourmet and put the soups at higher priced and more pretentious places to shame. The staff is friendly and attentive and kids are welcome. Only things to know is its cash only (low fee ATM inside) and bring quarters for the novelty vending machine in the men's room.“
