“I spent 3 days in Lancaster n I went on one bite pizza appt for best pizza in lancaster n out of the top 100 places only 4 places impressed me n Pizza City was one of them n not far from the motel where I was staying at so, it was a no Brainer. I have tried ALOT of pizza in my life n I do reviews. I was really impressed on how good this was a true NY style pizza. Thin crust, well cooked undercarriage, good amount of tasty sauce with just enough cheese with zero grease. Highly recommend it here n just wished it was closer. Also, prices extremely reasonable to where I live.“

“This is a real gem of a place. The atmosphere was nice and the food was so good. We loved the variety of drinks and all of the fresh, heavily veggie dishes. It can be hard sometimes to find veggie focused dishes at restaurants, but the menu had plenty of options (and the options to add proteins).“

I watched them train a new employee to do the same! Pinch and pull the dough- enough sauce, but not too much. “Our first experience at Gibraltar could not have been better. My wife and I had a 5 PM reservation, and when we arrived, three staff members warmly greeted us. A hostess escorted us to a cozy section of the restaurant, where the well-spaced tables allowed for comfortable, private conversation. Within 30 seconds, our server, Josephine, greeted us and offered us a choice of water. Bread and water arrived shortly after, and the service was impeccable from start to finish.
Cocktails - The house Cab is amazing. My wife said the same of her Grapefruit Margarita
Appetizer - The Spanish Octopus was delicate and delicious.
My entre - The Whole Branzino (fillet tableside) was excellent, and the skill of the gentlemen executing the filleting was exceptional.
Wife’s entre - Shrimp Spaghetti was a flavor bomb and the delicate garlic butter parsley sauce was perfect for bread dipping!
Shared dessert - Crème Brule to share was prepared with precision.

• Although the restaurant is full and busy the seating allows private and easy conversation.

“I have eaten here many of times. The food is always so good. I got two pizza's last night and it was really hard to eat because it had a burnt taste to it. I had gotten two pizza's and they both tasted the same. A little disappointing being I have always had great pizza from here. The burnt taste for me was so bad. Felt like I wasted $40 on pizza. I still give 4 stars because of past experiences.“

“Small but great pretzel place!! I got a pizza pretzel which was a hefty croissant shaped pretzel STUFFED with pepperoni, cheese, and pizza sauce. It was soooo good and hearty. I got it on a whim and greatly enjoyed it. I also got a regular salted pretzel that was very good, nice chewy and doughy! I highly recommend a stop in if you like pretzels.“

“I've eaten here a number of times and, I think they switched over to using smash burgers so, two patties is recommended. Today, they had our hamburgers sitting on the counter getting cold until the fries were done, Bummer. Fries were good.“

“Went in to the bakery on a Sunday morning. Spent the better part of an hour picking out treats and having good conversation about community, caring, and pastry. Took the treats home and had a family tasting of all the fun things we found. Can't attest to the restaurant and bar portion, but our tea and bakery interaction was a treat on multiple levels.“

“We have been going there for decades. Generous portions (at good prices) give at least one more meal from leftovers. Rarely have room for the good-looking desserts, but when we do, they are great. Vegetables often disappoint, but a double order of the excellent fries provides potatoes with our eggs the next morning.“

We had fried green tomatoes as an appetizer. That was outstanding. I had arctic char over a peach gazpacho. I wasn't sure if I would like the cold gazpacho with the hot fish but what do I know? It was great. My wife had the spare ribs. She was raving about how tender they were.
The service was also top notch. I don't think you can have a bad experience at this restaurant.“

“We were in this PA area for only about 1/2 hour but I am very glad we chose to stop here! I was curious about shoo-fly pie and was thrilled when we walked in and were promptly offered a free sample of shoo-fly pie! It was delicious! There were plenty of other baked items for sale and the prices were really reasonable. I got a small plate of snickerdoodle cookies and my son got a peanut butter whoopie pie, and they were really good. The prices of the other souvenirs were pretty good too. Recommend stopping here.“

We waited over a half an hour for our food to find after I ask for them to check on our food that they burnt my wife’s steak and made her another one my meal when brought out must of been reheated twice and burnt!!!! “We stumbled upon this gem at a kiosk at the hotel we are staying at and we can never turn down BBQ. 😂 the food was great, the service was great, and everything was fast, hot and perfect. Mark was our waiter and he was amazing. Not only is he a great server (i know because I worked in this industry), he’s incredibly kind and hilarious. We came for my birthday, which he knew. When I said no to dessert he asked if he could bring me a scoop of ice cream with a candle, to which I said “sure, but no singing!” Well when he came back to the table with another employee he loudly pronounced “on the count of 3!” Like they were going to sing and counted down then walked away. It was incredibly funny. Thank you, Mark, for making the night memorable!“

There is a tremendous selection to fit everyone's palate. Our family has been going here since opening day and are never disappointed. One grandson favors his own blend of food at the stir fry, another likes the susi and the grandaughter likes the sampler, a small taste of everything.
