“We loved the food at the Tom X pub! It was delicious The cons; the bartenders during the day are MIA and the place was dead. Not one occasion, BUT two. And two different bartenders. One bartender forgot numerous items we ordered. Another time, a bartender was doing shots with customers at the bar. It’s a shame because the food is so good, but due to the lack of good service, we probably won’t be back.“

“How am I just discovering this place now? Had food delivered last night (and then again tonight) and it was FANTASTIC. I don’t say that lightly! The Korean Bulgogi beef tacos are amazing, the sweet burbon bacon burger is incredible along with the sweet plantains and the sticky boneless wings!! So glad we found this place! Keep the great food coming!!“

“The Frogtown Chophouse was a nice, little establishment that we discovered in the Poconos. It’s only a few minutes away from Mt Airy Casino Resort. The food & drinks were good, especially the crab cake dinner. Our server was also very personable. The dark chocolate sea salt frogs were a cute touch for after dinner. 🐸“

“My husband and I really miss Friendly's. We saw the sign and said let's get lunch. They nolonger have the parry melt, my favorite and my hubby love mozzarella sticks. They used to have tiny ones that were fantastic. The new mozzarella was good. The food was good, the service was slow and it was freezing inside. The bathroom was clean, that is always a plus. I would go back again and bring my winter coat. 😆“

“I made a Complaint last week regarding our Dinner on Monday, Well I received a call from the Manager Scott about our complaint and told me he would like us to come back and have a Dinner on him and Shawnee to make Amends, We did go back Wednesday and met Scott, who I think is a Very Good Manager, and we had a Very Good Dinner, I would recommend Shawnee River Room Restaurant to my Family and Friends, come and see the Famous Shawnee Golf and Resort and All it's Beauty , you won't be Disappointed“

“I have lived here for 5 years and finally made it to this place for Mother's Day. All I can say is: YOU ALL THROW DOWN! I was impressed by how well you treated my mom by giving her the Au Poivre with a medallions of perfectly cooked filet mignon. And the steak sauce was so silky and rich. She also really enjoyed the Margaritas and the service. My entree was a Cobb salad (watching my carbs) and it was absolutely perfect, with tons of blue cheese and bacon. Thank you for a lovely Mother's Day 💙“

“We had an enjoyable dinner with my wife, college roommate and his wife. The atmosphere was enjoyable, just enough noise with a great looking room. The service was outstanding, and the food was highly enjoyable. The French Onion Soup was delicious with a unique puff pastry topping. The house salad had a mixture of greens, blue cheese, cranberries, nuts & seeds with a mild vinaigrette dressing; overall it was fantastic. Finally, the entrees were varied, large and enjoyable. This is an absolute gem and well-worth visiting. We will be back when we are in the area again.“

“I had a wonderful experience from start to finish. Firstly the temperature outside and inside was well balanced and I thought the varnishing of the bar complimented this greatly. This was a good break from finding a room mate at college. I ordered my steak raw and it was delicious. I love eating it raw. Hope to be back soon with my boyfriend and his sons.“

“If I had to choose a last meal on earth it would be from here. So what if you have to sit by the side of 209 - look the other direction. This food is love. My favorite is the brisket with greens and sweet potato fries. The portions are so big there's seconds and thirds. And it's so damn good every time.“

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ every time I visit my son we order food to be delivered from this restaurant. Well slice delivery driver took it to the wrong place and delivered it, and it went missing! Well, this restaurant owner felt so bad that they actually made us our food and delivered it within 15 minutes and made it right and I think that’s highly honorable! Their food is so delicious! From now on we’re ordering directly from them, no more middleman!“

“Great food and service. Terri our waitress was very friendly and attentive. The prime rib was very good as was the French dip sandwich. My daughters also enjoyed their Caesar salads and French Onion soup. We would have ordered desert as the selections sounded delicious however dinner was too filling. Prices were very reasonable for the portion sizes and quality. Would definitely visit again the next time we are in the area.“

“My wife and I travel around the country living in vacation rentals. While in East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, we came across this Diner. It's more like a New York type Diner than any place we've been in our travels. My wife have the French onion soup, and I had fish and chips. The French onion soup was very good according to my wife, and the Fish and Chips were okay. I asked for the french fries to be well done, and they were barely done. The fish however what's good.
The environment was what you would expect from a diner, so no surprises there. The service was very good, we were seated immediately, ain't that plenty of time to review the menu. The prices were pretty good as well.“
