“This was my first experience with Yemeni food. I ordered the saltah which came with one piece of the bread. I loved the flavor and having the bread was perfect!

I thought the portion size for the price was good. As other reviewers mentioned, you do need to pay for water.“

“Some of the best Indian food in the world (outside of India) is located in the United Kingdom and in this Kingsessing restaurant. Usually, Indian food found in the US tends to be served in a very thick, heavy sauce. This place took me back to the UK joints I loved in 2019 and 2024. The chicken curry sauce was a perfect blend of spices and broth which meshed nicely with the basmati rice and naan. This is my first time eating their food but will certainly not be my last. EXCELLENT JOB!!

I’ve tried a few places that just didn’t hit the mark—but AL SHAM in Chalfont is a straight 10/10!! They serve real Arabic bread (pita)—not tortillas disguised as pita like you find at other places—and their homemade Lebanese toum (garlic aioli) is the real deal. One bite of their falafel wrap instantly transported me to a boardwalk in Lebanon, overlooking the Mediterranean—complete with fresh bread, Lebanese pickles, and those perfect pickled turnips. “Went to Khusbu today and got the Kala Bhuna along with Beef Tehari. The food me reminded of my mom's cooking back home in Bangladesh. It's pretty rare that you get to see Bengali food sold anywhere. I decided to come where with my friend the moment I saw the items. The owner was really good and personable he gave us Malai Tea on the house for us. I recommend you to come here for a taste of Bengali food along with Indian food if that's what you prefer.“

“Saad’s has one of the best cheesesteaks in the city. Yes, you heard that right. The halal nature of their cooking means they have the finest meats, cheese, and bread. The steak was very flavorful without the greasy mess that a lot of others have. The fries are amazing, too. The place is a little small so getting it to-go is recommended. All-in-all, you can’t go wrong here.“

“I got the lamb over rice with salad (came with a drink too). The food was good enough. Definitely not someplace I’d go out of my way to come back to, but also not a place I’d avoid.

Gentleman who took my order did not have a good grasp on English, so he didn’t quite understand my request for modifications. But he had the food ready insanely quick (like less than two minutes). And he was patient with my hearing impairment and seemed overall sweet.

“I loved my food! It was cooked fresh when we ordered, and was delicious -- and plentiful for the price. We were greeted warmly by the kind gentleman/chef. He showed us our platters when they were ready, so we could indicate exactly how much of each sauce we wanted. The falafel was nice and crispy on the outside, and seasoned beautifully. The rice was also delicious, and the salad was fresh. My partner equally enjoyed his chicken and rice platter. The interior of the truck (which is what matters) appeared very clean and well kept. This was our first visit, but based on our experience, it will not be our last! :)“
