“Visited this morning for the first time. Got egg and cheese sandwiches, one croissant one ciabatta - both were amazing!! The lattes were delicious and rich. You can really taste the quality of the espresso. They were short staffed (1 employee who was grinding hard!) so I did wait about 25 minutes for two coffees and sandwiches. I didn’t mind that much and it was well worth the wait. Can’t wait to go back!“

“Stopped in on a Monday a little after 7 am, the cafe was empty but has plenty of seating, feels clean and inviting for a solo visit or for different groups. The barista was nice and quick, after handing me my espresso, I asked if they had sugar and such and she pointed me in the right direction (behind me) and asked if I needed anything else. I ordered, had my drink and was out within 2 minutes.

“Love the food, delicious, fresh, authentic. Atmosphere is really cute. My only complaint is the service is typically exceedingly slow- think up to 30+ minutes for a sandwich even without a line. Best way to go is to order online well ahead of time if you don’t feel like waiting for a while.“

We got the cheapest bread you could buy and steak tar tar to start, both were great, then we shared 2 large entrees - the rainbow trout and the chicken, both were 10/10, probably the most perfectly cooked fish I’ve ever had in my life and again I don’t get wowed often. “Here, you can get farm to cup coffee. The owner’s dad actually runs the farm in Columbia where they source their beans and roast them locally around Pittsburgh. The staff is so kind and friendly and they brew amazing coffee that is about as fresh as you can get unless you are in a growing region of the world. The shop is small and simple but clean and polished with a great vibe.

Got a cappuccino and it was top notch. They know what they are doing with coffee here. Definitely worth going out of your way for this one.“

“Really great! I was passing through Pittsburgh and needed a place to co-work for the day. I wanted a place with style and reflective of the local culture. So, no Starbucks-esque places. I spent the day here from opening to closing. Service was great, coffee and food... great. They source as much as they can from cool local vendors, such as their ginger beer and foods. Also, right next door to a vinyl/record shop, so have fun! I was so comfortable there, a patron came up to me on my laptop to ask me a question about the operations here. HA! I look forward to them growing their patronage and more people getting to experience this place. I got a yummy vegan burrito for my overnight traveling to-go.“

“Really cool and sustainable repurposing of an old Moose Lodge. Caught a meeting where the mission was being explained to another group, and it was awesome to hear about the concept. Egg sandwich is incredible, reminded me of the quality of food I experienced living abroad and brought back many happy memories, but at an affordable price- $12 for a large decaf, build your own egg sandwich with double the eggs and a bit of fresh fruit on the side. Was awesome to sit and feel like a person on the two days I visited and the staff was incredibly talented in addition to wonderful energy. Everyone who worked here loved their job and it showed! “Cozy little coffee shop with tasty drinks. We liked all the drinks we ordered though mine was definitely on the sweet side. Service was great and it is pretty busy with not much staff but they get the job done.
The menu options are standard coffee shop drinks as well as seasonal/ specialties. For food they have sandwiches, bagels, waffles, and assorted fresh baked goods. There are also some prepackaged snacks and drinks. Non food items include candles, mugs, cards, etc. No parking lot so you have to park on the street.“
