“Huge shoutout to the team at the McDonald’s on Hoffman Blvd in Duquesne! I rolled in late with a very large order at like midnight , and they absolutely nailed it. Every item was there everything was fresh, hot, and wrapped perfectly.

What really impressed me wasn’t just that the order was right, but that the staff handled it with a smile and great energy, even at that late hour. They were friendly, professional, and went above and beyond to make sure we got exactly what we wanted.

“Visited this morning for the first time. Got egg and cheese sandwiches, one croissant one ciabatta - both were amazing!! The lattes were delicious and rich. You can really taste the quality of the espresso. They were short staffed (1 employee who was grinding hard!) so I did wait about 25 minutes for two coffees and sandwiches. I didn’t mind that much and it was well worth the wait. Can’t wait to go back!“

The coffee here is exceptional. You can tell that a lot of thought goes into every cup. I ordered a latte, and it was smooth, rich, and perfectly balanced with a bold flavor that wasn’t too bitter. “The Lemon Rose Iced Latte was very refreshing. Perfect combination of two very unexpected flavors. The cinnamon roll with the buttercream was equally delicious . I’m so glad I googled coffee near me while we were at Shadyside hospital.“

“Stopped in on a Monday a little after 7 am, the cafe was empty but has plenty of seating, feels clean and inviting for a solo visit or for different groups. The barista was nice and quick, after handing me my espresso, I asked if they had sugar and such and she pointed me in the right direction (behind me) and asked if I needed anything else. I ordered, had my drink and was out within 2 minutes.

We got the cheapest bread you could buy and steak tar tar to start, both were great, then we shared 2 large entrees - the rainbow trout and the chicken, both were 10/10, probably the most perfectly cooked fish I’ve ever had in my life and again I don’t get wowed often. This is by far now our favorite restaurant in Pittsburgh to go to, hands down a PREMIERE spot to eat.“

“Really cool and sustainable repurposing of an old Moose Lodge. Caught a meeting where the mission was being explained to another group, and it was awesome to hear about the concept. Egg sandwich is incredible, reminded me of the quality of food I experienced living abroad and brought back many happy memories, but at an affordable price- $12 for a large decaf, build your own egg sandwich with double the eggs and a bit of fresh fruit on the side. Was awesome to sit and feel like a person on the two days I visited and the staff was incredibly talented in addition to wonderful energy. Everyone who worked here loved their job and it showed! (To clarify that's exactly what I mean by the quality of food experienced abroad- happy food made by happy people.) Also a really cool co-working space.“

“Really great! I was passing through Pittsburgh and needed a place to co-work for the day. I wanted a place with style and reflective of the local culture. So, no Starbucks-esque places. I spent the day here from opening to closing. Service was great, coffee and food... great. They source as much as they can from cool local vendors, such as their ginger beer and foods. Also, right next door to a vinyl/record shop, so have fun! I was so comfortable there, a patron came up to me on my laptop to ask me a question about the operations here. HA! I look forward to them growing their patronage and more people getting to experience this place. I got a yummy vegan burrito for my overnight traveling to-go.“

“Cozy little coffee shop with tasty drinks. We liked all the drinks we ordered though mine was definitely on the sweet side. Service was great and it is pretty busy with not much staff but they get the job done.
The menu options are standard coffee shop drinks as well as seasonal/ specialties. For food they have sandwiches, bagels, waffles, and assorted fresh baked goods. There are also some prepackaged snacks and drinks. Non food items include candles, mugs, cards, etc. No parking lot so you have to park on the street.“

Plus, the pastries all look amazing, especially the pies, but I’d also recommend the breakfast sandwich, which was one of the best ones I’ve had in awhile! The egg is super fluffy and the cheese they use went so perfectly, every bite was addicting.

“I stopped in last night, there were two young ladies behind the bar that didn't acknowledge my presence. But when I came in there was a young man sweeping the floor because it was almost closing time and he put the broom down and came behind the bar to wait on me. He's the superstar in this story! Even after he got my drink, the young ladies behind the bar never made eye contact with me. Hard to believe you can go to a place in East Liberty and be treated as if you are invisible.“

“Love this little hidden gem, The staff is so friendly and a lot of fun- our barista sort of messed up my drink (literally not the biggest deal in the world, she was busy) but we were all joking about it with a couple we met there and she was a good sport and super sweet, literally great energy. “I booked La Prima to set up a booth at my Sister in Laws wedding as many of the attendants were non drinkers. It was the biggest hit! Everyone loved it, the coffee is the best in Pittsburgh, and the staff was extremely nice and professional.“

“Since I first heard of this opening, I've been wanting to go for a long time. The atmosphere is very nice, not too loud, and the seating area is very beautiful! I was there for quite a while [first met with a friend, then solo reading time], and liked seeing all the slows and rush times within the cafe. All the pastries looked very beautiful, and it was nice to see options you wouldn't see at a big chain. The selections of coffee are very enticing and interesting, but I got a plain latte because of my sweet treat. I tried the Dubai Chocolate Brownie, not toooo sweet and had enough crunch, which paired very well with the plain latte I got. I think it's very nice to have a space with Yemeni influence in its menu, and interior, especially since Pittsburgh is such a growing diverse space and the times we're in currently. As a Muslim person and POC, it was comforting seeing food I grew up with being shared, various different people enjoying this space, seeing people like me have a space, and seeing this cafe gain so much support.“

“I love this place. They staff is friendly and work fast to get orders out. I normally get a large vanilla iced coffee with bacon egg bits. The total is about 9 and some change. The large iced coffee alone is about $4/32oz
I prefer them prefer them over McDonald's and Duncan and day.

If you want a Frappe type of drink then get a a Frojoe. They are so good. I just don't get them as much because I prefer iced coffee more.

They have a large menu so I'm sure you'll find something.“
