“Patti's Pasticceria is a family-owned Italian-American bakery. Its menu includes breakfast pastries, cookies, cupcakes, rolls, specialty cakes (e.g., wedding, anniversary, birthday, and graduation), and even non-baked goods such as soups and espresso drinks. Prices are reasonable. For Easter, my family purchased a chocolate cake, a white cake, a strawberry pie, and lady-lock cookies from Patti's. My family members and I thought that these desserts were fresh and tasted good, but we prefer the flavors of desserts from a few other bakeries. I would feel happy to try many of Patti's other desserts, including her cinnamon rolls, pecan rolls, apple strudels, cold-dough apricot cookies, s'mores cookies, cheesecake, carrot cake, sfogliatelle, etcetera. Please note that some desserts must be ordered in advance, and catering is available.“

“Great long time employees that work hard. Alot of new employees that come nand go quickly. Prices are average and they sell gas ice,alcohol , a madr to order grill with good pricing for portion size and u can refill ur propane tanks get gas doomed milk tea coffee or energy drinks and a snack. They also sell gift cards of you need a quick gift.“

“Came here today 3-26-24, on a bad rainy day I got a hot chai tea. Probably the best I've ever had. Caution it's super hot drink slow but makes it easier to enjoy lol. Nice foam on the top pretty color, sweet, nice spice. Was 4.50 for a 12oz which for how good it is they could easily raise it another 1.00. Definitely recommend and will be back!!!!“

“Visited this morning for the first time. Got egg and cheese sandwiches, one croissant one ciabatta - both were amazing!! The lattes were delicious and rich. You can really taste the quality of the espresso. They were short staffed (1 employee who was grinding hard!) so I did wait about 25 minutes for two coffees and sandwiches. I didn’t mind that much and it was well worth the wait. Can’t wait to go back!“

“my favorite place for lavender matcha lattes! great drink selection, they have a ton of flavors and special drinks. they also have pastries, coffee beans, and some snacks (e. g. bars) for sale as well. they're a pretty solid study spot. though the tables are small and it can get pretty loud and crowded (lots of people lining up for drinks, especially in late mornings), there's free wifi and outlets. the workers are all really friendly too, which is always a plus!“

“I had a great experience! Went with ladies from my moms' group, and this was such a joyful environment for it! Run and staffed by very good people who clearly have a sincere intention of really seeing every person in front of them and trying to be a bright spot in their day. And that attracts other good people, too! Everyone was happy to see my friend and I's babies, and we weren't the only ones there with little babies, at all! Very tastefully decorated, yet not too minimal. Nice, clean bathroom. Love the logo and idea behind the whole place! I had a refreshingly smokey iced coffee and a buffalo chicken pizza roll -- genius culinary idea that I want to try! Should've taken a picture of my baby with my coffee or something, for this and the memories, haha. Highly recommend!“

“After moving back to town after being gone for a while, I was so happy to find out there was finally a coffee shop in the community! I got the peanut butter cup latte and it was phenomenal. “7/10! Ive been here 2 different times and each time the customer service was so so. They did not seem interested in helping you/giving suggestions and just weren’t as friendly as I would expect a local coffee shop to be? I think they are in the process of remodeling so the inside of the shop is mostly blocked off from use except for 2 tables. The first time I was there they had the old bank vault open with the lights on (really cool), but the second time I was there it was all shut off (pretty bummed as I was trying to show someone new the coffee shop).I’ve had a couple different lattes and all were pretty good. Nothing extraordinary. Their sausage egg and cheese breakfast rolls are AMAZING and I would come back just to eat these every day lol“

“This is my absolute FAVORITE coffee shop, I think....ever. Their coffee is such high quality, delicious, & made with so much love. Also, their cold foam never dissolves, so you can enjoy it for hours (unlike most other locations - but drop the names if true). I'm obsessed with their chocolate almond iced coffee, but they also have so many other unique & delicious drinks. It is very clear that the barristers there are passionate and knowledgable about the ingredients they use/drinks & food they make. They also have cashew, sesame, & almond milk. I have even had people stop me & say "where is that coffee from?? it looks fire." IT IS. I also got this cute little art piece from there too!“

“I had two lovely visits at Friendship Perk & Brew this weekend. It's clean as a bean with plenty of caffeine! I had iced lattes both visits and also had two different sandwiches, one on a toasted croissant with bacon, egg and cheddar cheese and another also really good one with English muffin spread with avocado, feta cheese, spring mix and buttery fried egg. There is space to social distance. Highly recommend!“

“I stopped in last night, there were two young ladies behind the bar that didn't acknowledge my presence. But when I came in there was a young man sweeping the floor because it was almost closing time and he put the broom down and came behind the bar to wait on me. He's the superstar in this story! Even after he got my drink, the young ladies behind the bar never made eye contact with me. Hard to believe you can go to a place in East Liberty and be treated as if you are invisible.“

“I love the Chai milk tea with traditional tapioca boba! Amazing experience and drinks at Julie's Bubble Tea! Today, my husband and I got to meet the owner, Dave, and he was very kind and helpful! We got to learn more about him and his family, and we are overall in love with this small business. We will be frequenting here more often!“

“We come regularly to paint pottery. The staff is always very kind and accommodating. The coffee and muffins are always good, but we do miss the breakfast sandwiches they used to serve! I recommend making a reservation online if you would like to paint pottery.“

“I've actually never had an actual crepe before, so when I heard really good things about the crepes from this cute little cafe in Shadyside, Pittsburgh, I decided to come check it out for myself. I came here on a Sunday around 11AM for brunch. The wait time was over 30 minutes, but it was definitely worth the wait. Here's what I tried: Super Belgium (a sweet crepe): * Filled with belgium cookie spread & dark chocolate; topped with strawberries & bananas; and comes with a side of cream * The belgium cookie spread tasted like biscoff cookies but in liquid form -- it was sooo smooth and yummy * The cookie spread and dark chocolate was warm & smooth and paired so well with crepe and fruit -- it melted in my mouth so well and was so satisfying * Crepes were thin & had such a nice, soft texture * A bit too sweet and filling to finish the whole thing alone, so I recommend sharing with someone else! Alaska (a savory crepe): * Filled with spinach, pesto, & herbed cream; topped with smoked salmon; comes with a side of salad and I added avocado on the side for an additional $3 * The combination of everything together was so flavorful and yummy & the avocado just topped everything off...A literal chef's kiss, I don't even know how to explain in words, you just have to try it for yourself * If I had to choose...I'd say I liked this crepe more than the Super Belgium, because I prefer savory items Freshly Squeezed Orange Juice: * OMG this was the best orange juice I've ever tasted. YOU MUST TRY IT. I'm literally drooling dreaming of drinking that OJ right now * Not sure how they managed to get oranges that were that sweet, but it was amazing * I only like orange juice that's freshly squeezed because I don't like the added sugars and bitter artificial taste in the non-freshly squeezed OJs, so I was so happy to find out they have a juicer here I am definitely coming back to try all the other variety of crepes they have!“

“Friendliest staff and management. Beyond super nice. The coffee is also literally some of the best I've had in the States. Plus, it's bird friendly! You hear a lot of banter about supposedly eco-friendly products. Ask them about it - this is actually eco-friendly in a way that is beneficial to the forests, wildlife, and humans alike. “It was a rainy day. But, hey, what a cool and unique place Biddle's is! It was easy parking, but I'm thinking if it was a brilliant day, parking would be tight. PS. All tables were full. But, we got one, and spent 2 hours talking. A latte lasted a long time, 2 hours, which might say a bunch about the coffee. It wasn't memorable. The water was good. The food looked good, but I wasn't feeling hungry.An eclectic and semi-Bohemian atmosphere...very cool outdoor tent with a cozy seating setup. “They were friendly and efficient. Reasonably priced. I had the toasted marshmallow latte, a regular glazed, and chocolate glazed donut. I loved all but the chocolate donut. It may be someone’s cup of tea, but it wasn’t mine, which is okay. Definitely will return for the coffee!!“

“I have been coming here since they opened about 8 years ago. It instantly became my favorite place. It’s a Lawrenceville staple now. When people ask me what my favorite restaurant is I say “well it’s actually a brunch place, but Geppetto Cafe! Trust me!” Great atmosphere, food, and people. There are few places I’m a regular, and this is one of them. Their iced black coffee is my all-time favorite too. We just had our engagement party here, and they were so flexible and accommodating. It was really special, and many of our guests said “you WOULD have your engagement party at Geppetto”. They loved it. Everyone thought it was super cute and that the crepes were delicious. Highest recommendation for brunch, coffee, or a special occasion!“

“Wonderful place to see and interact with the cats & kittens. $7 per person for a 1/2 hour. They time you. We were going to have lunch there 1st, however, they are not set up to serve food. You must wear a mask, which it did not say on the webpage, so we had to buy masks across the street. The cats and kittens are very happy and lots of toys to play with them. You can’t pick up the cats. Very sweet place & glad they have this.“

“Paid a brief visit. Great study space, solid espresso. Paid 27$ for a 12oz bag of Kenyan coffee. While at this price it is not quiet competing with, say, Sey, I would still prefer to see price breakdown on the bag and, well, an airtight seal. SO coffees seem to lean towards medium-light, the bag I got with "cherry coke" as the first promised taste note indeed had caramel first and acidity second in my brews.“

I think the place could use some acoustic treatments it's a nice place to do work but it's a little loud if one person is loud. The menu was also really small and hard to see!!! You guys should make the font bigger. I also missed your special lattes board bc it wasn't on the menu, but on the small board by the reg. I would probably have ordered one of those. “Its a nice cafe don’t get me wrong, but nothing really stood out for me. The space is large and bright but somewhat boring. The are a bunch of wooden benches and chairs both indoors and outdoors where you can enjoy the sun. There is free wifi so you can work from there. It was pretty busy on a Tuesday afternoon but the service was quick. Both the baristas were really sweet and welcoming. I ordered the matcha latte and it was pretty good. The barista whisked the matcha in front of me and I asked it to sweetened with honey and they happily agreed. I only wish, they had proper mugs for people having drinks in the cafe instead of serving everyone in disposable mugs.“

“Wonderful staff, favorite Starbucks in all of Pittsburgh. 4 stars for the food only because they occasionally get my drink wrong, which is a menu drink with one alteration. But at least it's always ready for me way before the "ready by" time!Parking: Only 8 of the 12 space parking lot is meant for Starbucks customers - beware. You'll likely even get a "move, or we'll tow" sticker if you park there and go across the street (I was just getting a donut from Dunkin). Never made that mistake again. Parking on street only free on Sundays.“

“FIRST OFF, I DO NOT RECOMMEND MIXTAPE!! When Mixtape closed, it hurt. There really wasn't a place that was chill with all types of Dope people. It was a place to bring friends or just a date night. The music was good late 80's and 90's Hip-Hop. They understood what, by definition, is a Mixtape. Google it and see of Indi-pop pops up... Nope! I've hoped that someone would buy it and bring that vibe back. It was successful. I was excited to see that new owners had announced soft openings last month. There were soft openings that advertised Indie Pop and David Bowie? Not to knock either, but at Mixtape? The new owners found old plans that made Mixtape a dance lounge, so now you can dance there? The reason the original owners didn't go with those plans because it was better as a lounge. They had it right. The new owners, NOT AT ALL! The old Mixtape seems to be gone and like most things in that area, there is a new common theme. Out with the Hip Hop and in with the Indie Pop. Thanks for taking the soul out of Garfield...“

A wide selection of traditional teas, some hard to find products in the States, and unique blends make Gryphon's a stand out experience. Combine that with the warm and welcoming staff, it's a hard to beat store.“

“This is a great spot for brunch! There's a nice patio outside where you can sit in addition to the indoor area. The portions are pretty big and prices are reasonable. I didn't realize how big the portions would be so I got both a savory and sweet crepe. I ended up needing to pack the sweet one to go since I could barely finish my savory crepe. I got the salmon crepe and it was nicely balanced out by the sweet tangerines in the salad. It also comes topped with creme fraische. My bf got the ham and cheese crepe and I think that's probably my favorite so far. It's packed with cheese and very flavorful. “Pink Box is always run by the sweetest staff! I used to get deliveries from them after my sister and I discovered them online, but now it's an extra treat to go in and browse for myself. The staff (including the owner, who seems to be around pretty often!) are all very sweet and knowledgeable about the goods they sell. “This is for the La Prima store at Smallman street near the convention center. They have great coffee choices. Service is quick. There are also some pre made breakfast items in a cooler. You bring them to the counter and they will heat them up for you. It's an excellent and inexpensive espresso bar and breakfast counter. Highly recommneded.“
