“I stop for dunkin every Friday as a treat for myself, I love coming to this one because the employees are so nice! I’ve worked at Starbucks, so I understand the busyness that comes from working with coffee, and I think this dunkin does a great job getting through the long lines!“

“Visited this morning for the first time. Got egg and cheese sandwiches, one croissant one ciabatta - both were amazing!! The lattes were delicious and rich. You can really taste the quality of the espresso. They were short staffed (1 employee who was grinding hard!) so I did wait about 25 minutes for two coffees and sandwiches. I didn’t mind that much and it was well worth the wait. Can’t wait to go back!“

“Stopped in on a Monday a little after 7 am, the cafe was empty but has plenty of seating, feels clean and inviting for a solo visit or for different groups. The barista was nice and quick, after handing me my espresso, I asked if they had sugar and such and she pointed me in the right direction (behind me) and asked if I needed anything else. I ordered, had my drink and was out within 2 minutes.

We got the cheapest bread you could buy and steak tar tar to start, both were great, then we shared 2 large entrees - the rainbow trout and the chicken, both were 10/10, probably the most perfectly cooked fish I’ve ever had in my life and again I don’t get wowed often. This is by far now our favorite restaurant in Pittsburgh to go to, hands down a PREMIERE spot to eat.“

“Here, you can get farm to cup coffee. The owner’s dad actually runs the farm in Columbia where they source their beans and roast them locally around Pittsburgh. The staff is so kind and friendly and they brew amazing coffee that is about as fresh as you can get unless you are in a growing region of the world. The shop is small and simple but clean and polished with a great vibe.

Got a cappuccino and it was top notch. They know what they are doing with coffee here. Definitely worth going out of your way for this one.“

No bad aftertaste when getting any lattes compared to other more mainstream coffee shops. Small location that is best hitting the drive thru, but does have a walk up window. “Cozy little coffee shop with tasty drinks. We liked all the drinks we ordered though mine was definitely on the sweet side. Service was great and it is pretty busy with not much staff but they get the job done.
The menu options are standard coffee shop drinks as well as seasonal/ specialties. For food they have sandwiches, bagels, waffles, and assorted fresh baked goods. There are also some prepackaged snacks and drinks. Non food items include candles, mugs, cards, etc. No parking lot so you have to park on the street.“

“Great cafe with lovely food and drinks! The coziness of the interior makes it a great spot to relax, study/work, and hang out! Plus, the pastries all look amazing, especially the pies, but I’d also recommend the breakfast sandwich, which was one of the best ones I’ve had in awhile! The egg is super fluffy and the cheese they use went so perfectly, every bite was addicting.

Definitely will be coming back to try some of their pastries, and a crowd favorite especially for students, love it!“

“I stopped in last night, there were two young ladies behind the bar that didn't acknowledge my presence. But when I came in there was a young man sweeping the floor because it was almost closing time and he put the broom down and came behind the bar to wait on me. He's the superstar in this story! Even after he got my drink, the young ladies behind the bar never made eye contact with me. Hard to believe you can go to a place in East Liberty and be treated as if you are invisible.“

“Since I first heard of this opening, I've been wanting to go for a long time. The atmosphere is very nice, not too loud, and the seating area is very beautiful! I was there for quite a while [first met with a friend, then solo reading time], and liked seeing all the slows and rush times within the cafe. All the pastries looked very beautiful, and it was nice to see options you wouldn't see at a big chain. The selections of coffee are very enticing and interesting, but I got a plain latte because of my sweet treat. I tried the Dubai Chocolate Brownie, not toooo sweet and had enough crunch, which paired very well with the plain latte I got. I think it's very nice to have a space with Yemeni influence in its menu, and interior, especially since Pittsburgh is such a growing diverse space and the times we're in currently. As a Muslim person and POC, it was comforting seeing food I grew up with being shared, various different people enjoying this space, seeing people like me have a space, and seeing this cafe gain so much support.“

“I love this place. They staff is friendly and work fast to get orders out. I normally get a large vanilla iced coffee with bacon egg bits. The total is about 9 and some change. The large iced coffee alone is about $4/32oz
I prefer them prefer them over McDonald's and Duncan and day.

If you want a Frappe type of drink then get a a Frojoe. They are so good. I just don't get them as much because I prefer iced coffee more.

Honestly as someone who started drinking coffee and going to coffee shops in Madison, WI (and other hipster towns - Seattle/ Portland Oregon, New England)- where there was lots of decent coffee for reasonable prices, I don’t know one coffee shop in Pittsburgh that really makes me feel at home or really is a destination (the deck at biddle’s escape is a destination, but not the coffee).- this place is great, for Pittsburgh - and is average/ a little stuffy and a little pricey for the entire Midwest and most of the country. I think the owner is/ was legit gorgeous (from memory) however, which probably hasn’t been bad for business. Solid 4 star place. Five stars? Getouttahere. Forgetabaatit. What five stars? They didn’t have fresh coffee / drip coffee today, is that five stars? You know I make a coffee ten times better than your best for like $.80 with my pezzetti at home, right? Organic. I feel like maybe the other reviews are not … SUPERTASTERS (like me, as referenced in the song by TMBG), and they simply don’t know any better.“

“Hands down this location is my favorite Starbucks in the Pittsburgh area!

Staff are always super friendly, helpful, and quick with making drinks. Compared to other locations this one makes drinks better, in my opinion. Plus, I’ve found this location to usually be clean inside and outside.

Great opportunity for premium people watching at this location, if that’s your thing. Also the indoor space has lots of seating so there’s usually space to sit down and chill out.“

“I was in the area and searched quickly for a coffee near me and this place popped up. I’m so glad it did! It was such a cute, unique space and the coffee was delicious. The barista was super friendly and my orange mocha was excellent. I’m always hesitant to try flavored lattes because I hate super sweet, syrupy coffee but this one was perfect. It was flavorful without being syrupy. With oat milk it was around $8 and while I do agree that’s pricier than I’d like to pay for coffee, it’s definitely very on par with all of the other coffee shops I go to.“

“Went with my niephling (Nephew/Niece) once before the mall starting closing all of its businesses. At the time, just two people there, very polite and respectful. Amazing coffee and tea, and I am very, very picky on both. Didn't get to go here again because of what the mall is doing, but I have found other locations less far from me. I just kinda liked the staff from here the most.“

There’s plenty of seating, and the large tables are perfect for group study sessions. Just note that outlets are limited, so charge your devices beforehand.“

“The employees here are always amazing. Last week I received notice of a death in my family while I was in the drive thru. The girl working the window handed me an ornament filled with coffee beans and I broke down crying. She took a minute to ask me what was wrong and wished me well hoping my day got better and that she would keep my family in her thoughts. The entire experience made my day so much more bearable. “Loved the sandwich I tried here last weekend! It was the vegetarian option on focaccia bread. Really delicious. Large enjoy to have shared it, but I was provided a box to take the rest home. The chai latte was tasty too, though a bit too sweet for me. (My bill was $21.75 for the sandwich and a chai tea latte w/o the tip.) The only downside is the amount of space one has to chat, sip your beverage , or eat...you either sit at the bar along the wall or along the counter. There are some tables, but very few. A minor inconvenience, but they do have takeout options.
If you go with a friend you could end up sitting shoulder to shoulder for conversation and not facing them. The acoustics are not great and for those with hearing challenges, it may not be the best choice. It did get very loud inside. Overall it was a good experience. The jazz playing in the background was definitely a perk!“
