“I love Dunkin’s donuts and their coffees, and my experience today was superb. The donuts were super fresh and the coffee tasted wonderful. The only sad thing is that their scanner didn’t work so I couldn’t scan my offer off the app, but things happen so it’s okay! :)“
“Clean and colorful, all-gender friendly, delicious coffee cakes, very nice owner. He really has a sense of community and is using his space to do good in the community through neighborhood clean-ups, chess events for all levels, and more. Check it out.“
“Espresso and egg Benedict’s were ridiculously good. Highly recommend. The eggs Benedict remind me of New Orleans they are so good. And it’s always nice to find a place that has good espresso. They made the perfect real macchiato(not the Starbucks abomination)“
“The coffee is absolutely delicious as are the various snacks they provide like cookies and muffins. The owner is very knowledgeable and helpful for suggestions on what you'd like. I don't drink coffee much and she matched me to the perfect type for me. The store is a cute hole in the wall you won't regret going too. Love it!“
“Patti's Pasticceria is a family-owned Italian-American bakery. Its menu includes breakfast pastries, cookies, cupcakes, rolls, specialty cakes (e.g., wedding, anniversary, birthday, and graduation), and even non-baked goods such as soups and espresso drinks. Prices are reasonable. For Easter, my family purchased a chocolate cake, a white cake, a strawberry pie, and lady-lock cookies from Patti's. My family members and I thought that these desserts were fresh and tasted good, but we prefer the flavors of desserts from a few other bakeries. I would feel happy to try many of Patti's other desserts, including her cinnamon rolls, pecan rolls, apple strudels, cold-dough apricot cookies, s'mores cookies, cheesecake, carrot cake, sfogliatelle, etcetera. Please note that some desserts must be ordered in advance, and catering is available.“
“My mom & I love to visit different coffee shops and this one was definitely one we will come back to! The atmosphere is cozy from the moment you walk in with different homemade local arts/goodies to browse. There are lots of different options to choose from as far as coffee/tea flavors go. I ended up getting the Baristas Choice of “Caramel Brownie Latte” and my mom got the Seasonal “Luck Charms”. Both were so yummy!! Would recommend and will be back again ?“
“A hidden gem in Morningside!! The owner is a really sweet woman who puts her whole heart into the delicious food and drinks that she makes. Ka-fair is a full service coffee shop with tasty lattes, matcha, smoothies, pastries and breakfast foods. Try the egg toast and the seasonal strawberry matcha when you’re here!“
“Very quiant & charming little shop, super cozy! Aesthetically pleasing atomsphere. Service was exemplary! The Cinnamon Honey Latte was the best tasting variation of that drink, I've ever tried! Too delicious! Will most definitely be back!“
“Redhawk in Sharpsburg is hands down, my favorite coffee shop in Pittsburgh. I have been to many others in the city, and I have not found any other place with such consistently good espresso and friendly staff. The staff go above and beyond to make me and my family feel welcomed every time we visit. They gladly fill my reusable cup with any drink I order, sell us glass jars of milk to take home, and they even have some toys and books for kids to occupy themselves for a bit. While food options are limited, they often have pop ups on weekends. The space can get busy, but if you do get a seat, it is a nice place to relax and people watch over some coffee.“
“7/10! Ive been here 2 different times and each time the customer service was so so. They did not seem interested in helping you/giving suggestions and just weren’t as friendly as I would expect a local coffee shop to be? I think they are in the process of remodeling so the inside of the shop is mostly blocked off from use except for 2 tables. The first time I was there they had the old bank vault open with the lights on (really cool), but the second time I was there it was all shut off (pretty bummed as I was trying to show someone new the coffee shop).I’ve had a couple different lattes and all were pretty good. Nothing extraordinary. Their sausage egg and cheese breakfast rolls are AMAZING and I would come back just to eat these every day lol“
“I don't know how I'm just finding out about this spot (Thanks, instagram!). The place is bright and cute. The workers are welcoming. The coffee was delicious and so was my avocado toast. I love that everything seems homemade, high quality and mostly healthy! I hope they get impossible sausage patties in the future so I can order a bagel! I'll be coming here often now“
“My favorite pittsburgh coffee shop! Great prices for great coffee and friendly service. They are always quick with my order and helpful with recommending new options to try when I cannot decide. Highly recommend stopping here over any other coffee shop when on Walnut street!“
“What a charming little shop! So much character in the space - a collected, homey feeling, with interesting fixtures, warm colors, and lots of sunlight. I ordered an americano and raspberry turnover and both were delightful! I love that they were served in real dishes instead of paper or plastic. The service was prompt and attentive! The seating is quaint but a little uncomfortable. Will definitely return next time I'm in the neighborhood.“
“This is my absolute FAVORITE coffee shop, I think....ever. Their coffee is such high quality, delicious, & made with so much love. Also, their cold foam never dissolves, so you can enjoy it for hours (unlike most other locations - but drop the names if true). I'm obsessed with their chocolate almond iced coffee, but they also have so many other unique & delicious drinks. It is very clear that the barristers there are passionate and knowledgable about the ingredients they use/drinks & food they make. They also have cashew, sesame, & almond milk. I have even had people stop me & say "where is that coffee from?? it looks fire." IT IS. I also got this cute little art piece from there too!“
“It's a really cute coffee shop. Their coffee and lattes are delicious. They have some homemade syrups for lattes. There are also different kinds of biscotti. We were visiting Oakmont and looked it so much we decided to go here every morning.“
“Coffee shop with breakfast and lunch options and a dining area with a super nice atmosphere... fireplace, exposed rafters and well decorated. Order at the counter and they bring it to your table. I had a delicious spinach omelet, which came with today and well seasoned home fries and toast. Owner is friendly and welcoming. Great place for coffee and a meal.“
“We come regularly to paint pottery. The staff is always very kind and accommodating. The coffee and muffins are always good, but we do miss the breakfast sandwiches they used to serve! I recommend making a reservation online if you would like to paint pottery.“
“Julies is a cute novelty bubble tea shop, great for a treat. I don't stop here regularly because it's a bit pricey, but that's all bubble tea shops, not just this one. The inside is bright and colorful and the people that work here are super nice. They sell merch for the local school as well as bubble tea plushies and a few other cute things. They don't have a ton of parking, there's usually some spots right in front of their storefront, but it's a busy strip and since it's right on Rt 30 there isn't much room to maneuver and go through the lot again. This is a major complaint of mine, no fault of Julie's at all of course, but it is something that might keep people from stopping by. I've liked pretty much every drink I've gotten from Julie's, when you order ask for less ice, it's still enough to keep the drink cold but the normal amount of ice is just way too much ice in my opinion, and it makes it hard to get all the bubbles out of the bottom. Also, I am not a fan of the brown sugar syrup or whatever it is, I got it once and never again, it was sickeningly sweet and very grainy, the drink I had it in wasn't bad, but the syrup just sat at the bottom and never got dissolved in the drink. The tea itself was good but I couldn't finish the whole thing because of that syrup. Last time I came in I also got a breakfast sandwich, it was pretty good for what it was, but it was really plain. I like some tomato and/or tomato on my breakfast sandwiches, and I didn't see those as an option, so I don't think I will get a sandwich again. Like I said though, it wasn't bad, so if you like a plain breakfast sandwich you would probably like this one. And if they started adding a few topping options I would probably get it again. Overall, I'm glad we have a cute place like this in the area, I always have a generally positive experience here, there's just those handful of things I'm a little critical of.“
“The food is really good!! There are gluten-free options for the French toast and regular sandwiches!! They also have vegan and dairy free options. It gets busy in the morning tooDietary restrictions: Dairy free, vegan, gluten free options & mixed“
“Very kind staff (who have remembered my usual order after only having been to this location a few times!), really good food, excellent coffee.Get the chicken and grueyere crepe, it comes with the best salad vinaigrette I've ever had, and I jones for it every time.Love the new bloomfield spot, I loved the one in Lawrenceville but this feels more homey while also more spaced out.Vegetarian options: Plenty of non meat options. Not sure about dairy free (vegan) but lots of good savory and sweet crepes.Parking: Can park paid on liberty Ave or park on one of the residential streets for free. I've never had an issue finding parking.Kid-friendliness: My kid loves the sweet crepes, especially the Nutella with banana and strawberry.“
“We were passing through town and searched for coffee shops with roasters and came across this cool store. Love that they’ve chosen to focus on birds and then assign different species to different coffees - all “bird friendly”. We got a decaf latte and a regular americano to go plus a couple of bags - their one decaf (a Peruvian) and a Colombian that I found to be on the darker side of medium and ok for lattes. Next time we’re through town I’ll want to try something lighter roast. Their cafe had nice seating areas and they had typical coffee store merch. Do recommend.“
“What a stunnnnnnning coffee shop/cafe!!! Loved the historic building, stunning natural light soaked lounge area, plants & allll the vibes! Seriously, beautiful! We stopped in for an oat milk latte and it was out of this work! Perfectly frothed, creamy & strong espresso! So happy we stopped in here! It was such a vibe & the best coffee! ☕️“
“My first visit to Pigeon Café in Pittsburgh was filled with pleasant surprises. Despite the initial wait due to the café's cozy policy of allowing only five patrons in at a time, the experience inside was worth the brief ten-minute line. The highlight was definitely the food: my bagel with fig and honey schmear was an absolute delight, striking the perfect balance between sweet and savory. Not to be overlooked, the snickerdoodle soft cookie was a standout treat, making my visit memorable. Pigeon Café delivers great food in a charming, intimate setting.“
“Golfers are familiar with The Oakmont Country Club.Well for those who are not familiar, allow me to introduce you to The Lot at Edgewater an OUTSTANDING RESTAURANT with OUTSTANDING CUISINE also OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE and OUTSTANDING CIGAR LOUNGE UPSTAIRS!!!!!Does it seem like I am over exeragating.... trust me....I am not! While you're at it order the Tomahawk Ribeye..... it will change your life! The Disabled Vet“
“Food and mixed coffee beverages good. Straight up coffee...bad. I gotta support local and they do get their beans roasted locally ...sadly they are from Nicholas where everything tastes either like hazelnut or burnt Panera coffee. Not a place for black coffee connoisseurs but definitely a nice place for an iced tea, lunch, or excellent latte.“
“Fantastic little coffee/tea shop tucked away in the Pittsburgh suburbs. Baristas are friendly & helpful. The hot coffee I had was fantastic. The cold drinks I saw that others purchased looked like they would be tasty. Cannot wait to go back and try something else.“
“As another patron noted, the staff didn't seem all too keen to indulge in free-chat. I too felt a bit burdensome for no apparent reason other than being older than the common lot. But the space makes up for it and some of the beer was very good. I definitely look forward to returning. It seems to me that there's a lot of weird class resentment in Pittsburgh. You can be a bar owner but feel somehow threatened by someone who speaks in an educated manner, even if you're economically far less off.“
“Yinz Coffee is an asset to Bloomfield. I love that its open a little later than a lot of other coffee places. The staff are always friendly, quick and make great coffee. Love that they support local artists and welcome everyone in the community through their doors.“
“Paid a brief visit. Great study space, solid espresso. Paid 27$ for a 12oz bag of Kenyan coffee. While at this price it is not quiet competing with, say, Sey, I would still prefer to see price breakdown on the bag and, well, an airtight seal. SO coffees seem to lean towards medium-light, the bag I got with "cherry coke" as the first promised taste note indeed had caramel first and acidity second in my brews.“
“Can't rate the food, since it's (atm) just a small coffee machine, but the atmosphere and service are FANTASTIC. The owner is deeply passionate about making sure these cats get good homes, and it's incredibly therapeutic to spend time with these lil' fuzzballs.“
“Wonderful staff, favorite Starbucks in all of Pittsburgh. 4 stars for the food only because they occasionally get my drink wrong, which is a menu drink with one alteration. But at least it's always ready for me way before the "ready by" time!Parking: Only 8 of the 12 space parking lot is meant for Starbucks customers - beware. You'll likely even get a "move, or we'll tow" sticker if you park there and go across the street (I was just getting a donut from Dunkin). Never made that mistake again. Parking on street only free on Sundays.“
“I think Google has the wrong photo for this restaurant. It was a smaller building with a wraparound drive-thru. My breakfast sandwich and latte were delicious and fresh despite the long line of cars ahead of me. I assume the wait was because they make everything to order and because it's popular. If I'm in the area again I will definitely try more of their breakfast food.“
“Little bit bland inside but the coffee wasn't bad. I could see it being a good spot to study for a bit but definitely not cozy. Much more industrial feeling, almost like Dunkin donuts but yellow. A lot of their baked goods and pastries looked super awesome though so I want to try them out next time!“
“The siren on the sleve resembkes the benchmark at the point with straightend hair.REMEMBER: THE SIRENS LED SAILORS TO THEIR DEATHS...Estar: to be. We are all stars and theyd tryn buck us off our plantet sinc3 we are lije a cancer upon it. Every littke thing counts.kiss ur kids ,say i love u often and burn ur relics and photos in an offering to put positivity back into the atmosphere.“
“Amazing collection of loose leaf teas with the best prices around. And always wonderful customer service every time I visited. I've since moved out of the area but still place orders online monthly and they always arrive promptly and well packaged.“
“I’m a bit of a coffee snob and this place far exceeded my expectation. I stopped in on a whim, it’s nice it’s down further on Butler and a off the crazy busy stretch. I easily found parking. I got a salted caramel iced latte and chai, both were amazing. The salted caramel flavoring was perfect- didn’t have that alcohol taste that syrups/flavorings often do. Im kicking myself for not getting a larger size. I will definitely be making a note to go back. Super nice it’s close to Butterwood which is one of my favorite bakeries.“
“We are in town for a quick getaway and is right around the corner from where we are staying. The coffee is magnificent, the food is delicious (seriously try the vanilla bean chai scone or the breakfast handpie) and the staff has been very friendly and welcoming. It’s also very queer friendly which we enjoy!“
“It's hard to describe how great Gryphon's Tea is. The time and passion that goes into selection is evident in every product. A wide selection of traditional teas, some hard to find products in the States, and unique blends make Gryphon's a stand out experience. Combine that with the warm and welcoming staff, it's a hard to beat store.“
“Exceptional flavors and creative dishes! The fusion of Asian cuisines here is truly remarkable. Each dish is a delightful journey of taste and texture. Definitely a memorable Easter take-out experience. Highly recommend! The crispy eggplant and fried eggplant with cow horn pepper dish were my absolute favorites and more than likely going to be my must haves every time from Yoka Kitchen moving forward now! ?Thank you for cooking my Easter dinner! ??“
“Excellent, excellent, excellent - this is the best ice cream/custard in Pittsburgh. The hours are a little tricky but absolutely worth it any chance you get. Flavors are always delicious and the texture is phenomenal. And the italian ice is wonderful as well!“
“One of my all time favorite coffee shops. The staff is always super nice and welcoming, the building does have a tendency to fill up quite quickly so grab a table while you can. Outlets are also a bit hard to come by, the best place to get a table with one is near the back next to the study room. Also make sure to grab a cold brew when you visit!“
“We just ordered a crepe and the Italian breakfast sandwich. Both were excellent. Also ordered the sausage roll and cappuccinos. The food is outstanding, but the customer service was even better. Both workers this Saturday morning were extremely pleasant. Will definitely be stopping again.“
“Had a wonderful experience purchasing a record online from Long Play Café. Brian reached out to me personally to ensure the package was sent to the correct address and provided prompt service and a tracking number. I'll be sure to pop into the shop in person if I'm ever in the area!“
“This has been my favorite coffee spot since college. There’s been only one unpleasant incident: I had something bitter in their blueberry muffin — after I let the staff know I was given a one dollar voucher so it wasn’t that bad. They don’t really make the food from scratch so I don’t consider it their fault. Otherwise, it’s always been a pleasure to get a coffee and get some reading/homework done in this place. Once I placed the wrong order and upon getting my whole milk matcha and doublechecking if it’s oat milk, the barista immediately made another one for me. I also enjoy their nut and seed bar a lot, a very healthy treat when you crave sweets.“
“I've been wanting to go here for a while so I'm glad I finally got to. It was cool inside they had like an 80s night going on which was cool but because of it we had to pay a $10 cover charge which I didn't want to do but the drink I got, the woo woo was so good and the prices were cheap for that so that was good. The staff was really nice and the music was good, we really wanted food tho and they didn't have any but it was late so that's understandable they have a cool vibe with the pin ball machines right when you come in“
“Extremely knowledgeable barista helped guide me to a great coffee. Iced orange blossom latte is subtle but fragrant. The espresso tonic is also very interesting but really good. Tastes like a sparkling coffee!!! Huge space- great for coffee dates, meeting a group or sitting solo to get some work done!“
“My boyfriend and I were visiting my mother in Pittsburgh for Thanksgiving, and for her birthday. We are from Florida. I personally love tea, and he loves coffee. The Coffee Tree Roasters offers a wide assortment of specialty roasted coffees, and a smaller selection of higher quality, non plastic, bagged tea. We were so impressed with the wonderful atmosphere of the workers, and how clean coffee tree roasters' interior is. Lastly we were specifically helped by Jacob, and he deserves all the tips in the world. We came by a few days in a row, and I asked for a cup of ice on the side to cool down my tea faster. By the third day, Jacob already remembered my cup of ice, and I did not even have to ask for it. This coffee shop is beyond incredible, and I highly recommend for anyone that is in the area to stop by, relax, and to check it out!“
“Definitely the best donuts I've had in a long time. So light and fluffy! I really enjoyed the donut with raspberry jam. Unfortunately the other donuts didn't last long enough for the photo lol! My MIL picked these up and mentioned they have wide variety of pastries, cookies, coffee and other items including pizza slices! I live nearby this bakery so I'll definitely be making this a frequent stop. Yum!“
“You can eat at the breakfast bar. But it's not necessarily a specialty coffee shop. It's more a corner convenience store with fresh donuts, coffee, and hot food made to order. It's easy to pass if you don't know what you are looking for. Amazing customer service and donuts.Kid-friendliness: My kiddos love their drink, ice cream, candy and snack selection. Not to mention the donuts!“
“Quick and easy. Only thing was earlier I was a little bit hungry, I went to try to get a pizza. And the kitchen was closed. Seems to be a common thing as of late, places are closing early . Can't seem to find any reliable help to make the stores run smoothly.“
