“Decided to go to the train station for our anniversary. Food was good. Waitress pleasant. Hostess very sweet. Ofter our dinner we were told our meal was paid for by a couple who already left.so we just want to thank them and let them know how grateful we are for a wonderful evening.and we will pay it forward. “Stepping through the door to all the beautiful decor, is out of this world. There is so much to look at. The food was absolutely delicious! Can’t wait to go again and try something else. There are so many food options. Dessert was also phenomenal. (Chocolate peanut butter cake) Staff was extremely nice. If you never been, or just driving through…highly recommend a stop in!”

“My friends and I found The Wabash by accident,, we were chasing the Reading & Northern 2102 last Saturday Oct 25th 2025.. We were looking for a place for lunch and a few beers.. The food was good and prices were right,, and I got the last bowl of French Onion soup.. The woman behind bar was very nice to talk to,, putting up with us,, the Train guys... Next time we are in Tamaqua,, we will stop at The Wabash,,... Pat from Massachusetts...”

“I never leave reviews for places but I have to for here. the staff last night were so kind and compassionate, and I wish I caught the name of the employee who offered my husband and I some coffee after our accident. Though we couldn't eat from our nerves, I'd definitely stop in again just off the kindness of the staff alone.”

“After 25 years away from Hometown Market, we ventured up to stroll through all the vendors and decided to purchase a few goodies from this shop.
Each item is labeled with ingredients and the pastries are really good, tasted like I made it myself! 😘

“My family and relatives dined at Basile's today for a funeral lunch. The food was amazingly delicious! The portions are big and right for the price. It is a modern atmosphere and the private party room was beautiful. I would recommend Basile's to anyone! Great food and nice atmosphere. The waitresses were very friendly and accommodating. I was super surprised it was smacking 🤤 i’m the only one in my house who eats this kind of pizza so I don’t get it too often I got to eat it for two nights in a row and I enjoyed it down to the very last slice 10/10 if you like white pizza ricotta yum yum yum highly recommend”
