“Found this hidden gem last night! Finally a restaurant that makes good Chinese food! Hands down, the best in Montgomery County. Only complaint is that they do not just stock your bag with sauces or fortune cookies. You need to ask to make sure you get them!“

“We have been ordering sushi here for years. Tonight, I decided to switch things up and try the hibachi. Did not disappoint!! Truly some of the best take out I have ever gotten. The tray was loaded with food, and you get soup or salad along with fried rice. I did chicken and steak hibachi. And will continue to order that.“

“Stopped in on a whim after shopping at Trader Joe’s and thought sushi sounded good. We were pleasantly surprised after not knowing really anything about this restaurant. The restaurant was clean and had an awesome vibe to it - we were seated immediately and it was a Friday night! Server was quick & accommodating…she also gave us recommendations for most popular sushi rolls. Their menu in general is extensive, so much so that we ordered 3 more rolls than we needed because everything sounded so good. We also got one of their ramen bowls (also many options on their ramen menu!) which was TO DIE FOR. We talked about it for a solid week after! All of our food was so delicious, we feel like we found such a gem of a spot! We’ve already talked about how we’ll be making more Trader Joe’s tripped solely to come back to Kumo 🙌🏼 Highly recommend!!!! Wish I took photos to post but we ate everything so quick and our phones were the last thing we were focusing on after one bite. It’s also BYOB which is always nice!“

“This is our **favorite** Chinese restaurant, which is funny because it's in a mall. We're not exactly mall people or around the corner from it, but we'll specifically go to the mall JUST for this place! Michael is always super friendly and recognizes us as soon as we walk in. I guess you could say it's our "go-to" restaurant for "to-go" Chinese food.“

“Their spicy tuna sandwich is sooo delicious! Love this place! I was celebrating my birthday on 11/22 with my aunt, who’s never been there before. She liked everything we had. So much so, that she plans on bringing her crew there for their next hang. We ordered from the lunch specials- eel for me with particularly tasty miso soup- I could smell the smoky scent that tells me it will be flavorful & it was. I HAD to have the spicy tuna sandwich too-it’s still as delicious as I remember from quite a few years ago. My aunt had a beef teriyaki bento box from the bottom of the lunch specials list on the menu & she enjoyed that & everything else in the Boxed Lunch. I let her try my eel and the marinated daikon from the platter & she was surprised at how yummy they both were. Portions were generous too. The staff were very nice, and attentive. We couldn’t have had a nicer experience. We’ll be back much sooner next time.“

“We have, several times now, stopped while walking into Hennings to go eat here because of the delicious curry smells, and get take out whenever possible. Everything is always delicious, the portions are enough to grab boxes, the staff is so nice, and the naan omg ❤️ good choice for vegetarian and GF too“
