Catfish mac and cheese cabbage sweet potatoes deviled eggs cornbread pineapple upside down cake let me tell you something. I am so happy. Happy happy everything and I mean everything is absolutely delicious. I'm so glad I went. I've been wanting some soul food for a minute. Finally got it. Thank you. Southern side kitchen. “This is the only Caribbean stall in the Fairgrounds Farmer's Market. I (obviously) ordered their ox tail entree with a side of rice and mac & cheese. The ox tail were the most tender I've had in this city so far. The rice was decent but I was slightly disappointed by their mac & cheese. It wasn't the elbow pasta that I'm used to (I believe it was penne) nor was it as yellow and gooey as I like it but it wasn't bad overall. Also, they give you a side of beans to go with your meal and they were delicious. I'll definitely give this spot another try when I go back to the market.“
“Across the board, Chick-fil-A is 5 star, but the Exeter PA location is just different. We get food here at least once a week. They are always fast and on point. I know there are certain ways the employees must respond to you, and many times, those responses seem to become robotic. Not at Exeter Chick-fil-A. The employees are always upbeat, and it's almost like a big family in the kitchen on a sunday morning, making breakfast and enjoying life. It's an absolute pleasure to get a meal from this location. “Off the beaten path arises a fried chicken place like no other in this part of the country. It's located in a convenience store so you only have takeout. But if you like fried chicken with the tiniest hint of spice this is your place. The chicken is very juicy and flavorful. They even manage to keep the breast moist. My big drawback with white meat is that it's dry and definitely gets worse when reheated. This chicken is dripping with moisture fresh and if you reheat it in the oven, it's very much like it was when fresh. Even after 2-3 days in the fridge it still heats up exceptionally well. Oh, the sides are great too.“
“We were here yesterday for lunch. My son has been collecting the current books that you get with the kids meals and was really hoping for a new one. We received one he already have. While we were eating. The Team leader I believe his name was Dave or David came over to offer us refills and ask if there was anything he could do for us. I asked him if they had any of the remaining books our son was missing (there were 2) from the collection. He went to the back and looked through all books and he found one of them! We were thrilled! Then 5 minutes later he came back and told us he found the last remaining book we were missing. My son was so happy when he found out we could complete the collection. Dave really went above and beyond our expectations and made our day. All of the food and service there was great. The children's play place was great and we will absolutely return.
