“Very good food.I had a buffalo chicken cheese steak. My boyfriend and his grandson each had cheese steaks and cheese fries. If you don't like your food spicy don't get the buffalo cheese steak. Will definitely be returning and highly recommend.“
“This was my first trip here. The prices were super reasonable! The pizza was very tasty and had a great amount of sauce on it. (I typically have to ask for extra sauce because I am a sauce person.) I didn't even have to ask for extra! The young lady behind the counter was pleasant as well. I will definitely return!“
“I’ve had cheesesteaks from all over, including Philadelphia and Big Bertha’s cheesesteaks are easily the BEST I’ve ever had. Same with the gizmo sub, best I’ve had anywhere. The fries, a cornerstone of every great establishment, are absolutely fantastic! I ONLY wish they’d offer mozzarella cheese for their cheese fries, I swear I’d order here every week if so. “I have been coming here for a few months now and every order is exactly done to your liking. I've said it before they have a special ingredient that keeps you wanting more. I have gotten the grilled ham and cheese (my favorite) as well as their steak gizmo. Everything is delicious and fresh. Salads are great as well and big. Prices are great. “I've passed by May's plenty of times on Penn Ave, and always wanted to try their sandwiches. I went in recently to grab a couple ham on rolls to see how they stacked up to Screpesi's ham on rolls (My fave in the area). Once in, I noticed the shop had a wide variety of other goods that I couldn't resist getting as well. The gentleman that made my sandwiches was very friendly, and informative about the other products they sold outside of their menu. While the subs were very high quality, they're just shy of beating a Screpesi sub. May's is closer to me however, and tasty enough that I'll be back in again. Thoroughly recommend.“
“Very friendly and prices are extremely reasonable. Don't let the humble atmosphere fool you, the decor is old, but the tables are clean. This place is like walking into a friends house to sit down with their family casually to eat. “I was at Dynamite subs for the first time yesterday morning. Even though they just opened they were able to take care of everything in a quick and thorough matter. “I love this place! Now truth be told I've never actually been there. But it's right down the street from work so I grubhub sandwiches from there quite frequently. Never has my order been messed up. Not once! They are very fast as well. Sometimes I forget to order my lunch on time. Yet somehow my order is still on time! I usually get a turkey sub and it's amazing! Never a soggy mess. Vegetables are always fresh ! They always a appear to be assembled by someone who actually cares what they are doing vs just "throwing it together" like you get at many other places! It's very small limited seats but it seems like when we're there it's a lot of take out. We just choose to be in the environment for a change of scenery and people watch. “I do not live in the area but was out that way at Fairgrounds Farmers market to get Italian sandwiches at Monte Lauro and their stand was closed for vacation and I remembered hearing great things about Oliver's so decided to give it a try. Our sandwiches were amazing and the staff were so friendly!! We will definitely be back and spread the word to others who may not know about this spot. Will still patronize Monte Lauro but it's awesome to find great Italian sandwiches in berks county as I am from Philly. They are both excellent. Also whatever rolls they use hold up nicely. I ate my sandwich over several days and the roll didn't get soggy at all even with the oil and vinegar on it.“
