“Went into dine in and took my name and number and told us that it would a half hour wait to go back to our car then we waited an hour and 20 minutes and still never called us and within that time they took 5 families right in and seated them. 😡 Especially when I had my child to feed and then had to go somewhere else to wait even longer because was basically lied to and forgot about. “Growing up a few blocks away, Dad often opted for hoagies and sometimes treated me to cream soda pop. Interestingly enough, I didn't like pepper when I was young; but, the sweet onions worked well w/ the black pepper on the subs, and I never turned down the subs. They tasted good to me.“

“Great little mom and pop pizza shop! The bread was soft, crispy, and delicious. We got the spaghetti and meatballs, ravioli, a cheese pizza, and French fries! The French fries were some of the best I’ve had. They were so kind, so inviting, and so attentive. We had three little kids and 4 adults and they had us seated, watered, and fed quite quickly. The waitress was so patient and kind.“

“This restaurant was the real deal. Pulling into the parking lot I noticed the firetruck theme complete with ride-ons for the kids. We were greeted and waited on rather quickly. Upon ordering we just took in the ambiance. I had some of the best cream chipped beef on toast ever with a side of home fries. This place would be perfect for date night, dinner with the fam or even a quick solo brunch. Give it a try it's sooo worth it❤️

“Service was ok. They only had one person working the counter and kitchen but he took care of us really well. The Italian subs and stromboli were dynamite. Simply prepared but the flavors were great.

“We arrived there by chance while passing through the area, our dinner was excellent. we were welcomed after closing time, we ordered spaghetti with sauce and meatballs, delicious Alfredo pasta, macaroni with ham and cheese, all very good. Our hostess was friendly, great service. Good wood-fired pizza. The pub is very nice and clean. Highly recommended!

Both pizzas weren’t fully cut.It made it hard to get them separate.The dough was soft and reasonable compared to most that we have had from there before.The delivery driver Emily was very polite.The time with delivery was good.“

“I ordered the marinara pizza and added their cashew cheese. There were slices of garlic rather than minced garlic, which was still delicious but also new to me. The cashew cheese wasn't stretchy/melty, but instead more like a ricotta or something in texture. Didn't bother me, but I figured I would mention it. I enjoyed my pizza. Not only that, but I ordered some sort of lavender drink (I may have modified it without alcohol, if that matters) and our server was kind enough to let me check to see if the lavender syrup was vegan.“

“The service is always nice, and the pizza is always delivered on time. I wouldn't eat it there obviously but the pizza is always great. They're a little more pricey than other pizza places but the pizza is always worth it. The crust is always great and the cheese and sauce always stay on the slice when you're eating it. Their bread sticks are also awesome and I really recommend their stuffed crust. The pizza is never greasy too so if you're looking for quality the extra price is definitely worth it. Plus they always seem to bundle a deal so it seems like the staff isn't trying to make you pay anything unnecessary which is great.“

“My go-to OIP when I’m in Altoona. Hasn’t disappointed me yet! Pizza comes out super quick but still perfectly cooked. The crust is chewy and crispy and sauce is always perfectly seasoned. They serve alcohol and have a vast enough menu to satisfy everyone. Staff is always friendly.“

“First time eating at Dino's. We called in an order for a large pepperoni pizza (with onions and mushrooms), an order of mozzarella sticks, an order of onion rings, and the combo steak hoagie (large with no green/bell peppers, add, mayo and lettuce). We were very pleased with our order and the helpful staff. My mother walks with a cane and when she went in to get the order, they walked it out for her. Thank you staff! The food was delicious. The steak hoagie is the best I've had since moving to the area 12 years ago. I've tried a lot of steak hoagies at other places and they were not nearly as good. The meat-to-bun ratio was perfect and it was very filling. The bun wasn't soggy with grease and had great flavor and a nice chew. The onion rings were great. They were not soggy and had great beer batter crunch, the same for the mozzarella sticks. We got a large pizza and it was HUGE. The crust had such good flavor. My only complaint would be that they did not put enough pepperoni on it to sufficiently cover the real estate. They could be a bit more generous with the toppings. Pricing at Dino's is on par with other places in the area. I found I spent the same amount there as I did placing an order to Dominos, the difference being I got a lot more food from Dino's. For what I paid to get a large pepperoni pizza (bigger than anything Dominos serves and better tasting), mozzarella sticks, onion rings, and a really good large steak hoagie, I paid Dominos for a large pepperoni pizza, 2 salads and a brownie. The steak and cheese at Dominos can't even compare to Dino's. I'll be going back to Dino's in the future.“
