“I recently visited Marzoni’s and ordered the Brussels sprouts appetizer along with the chicken parmesan and spaghetti. The Brussels sprouts were very good , flavorful and nicely prepared. The chicken parm itself was decent, but the spaghetti was just okay. It tasted more like boxed noodles and was overcooked, which took away from the overall dish. Overall, a mixed experience: great appetizer, decent main, but the pasta could use improvement.“

“When it comes to the overall atmosphere, THIS OIP does it right! The employees there were also very welcoming and kind. I ordered a meatball sub which was quite good. The breaded mushrooms with Bleu cheese were amazing!

I then decided to try a piece of their pepperoni pizza which was also very good! At this OIP, their crust is a lot thinner (which was different compared to other OIPs), but fine. I also had a cup of their coffee, which was strong, fresh, delicious, and smooth!

This OIP is much better than some of the other OIPs I have eaten at recently. Also, I felt that the prices were reasonable. I'd like to go back again soon and try some more of their subs and salads.“

…….Thats what I call the excellent deal they have on 2 dozen wings at Nardo’s Cafe!

So I was in the area at a close by stationary and copy service center when Nardo’s was recommended. So I walked on over. And as I approached the door I saw a sign that said, “Try our lemon pepper wings”.

Right then and there I knew that there was something special about the cooks taste and abilities! And, in hindsight, one would think that lemon pepper wings would be a common offering. But, despite being familiar with traditional lemon pepper chicken, this was actually the first time I ever saw it offered as American Cafe style wings.

So I waked in and placed a lunch order. Though not for the wings that day. And I did strike up a conversation with the chef about the wings.

Instantly it became clear that this cook was passionate about, knowledgeable and skilled at his craft. And, during the course of the discussion, he mentioned a 2 dozen wings for $27 deal.

So I promised to return in the future to place an order. And it was only a few days till I returned to buy the wings.

I decided on the 2 dozen for $27 deal. And this price is on par and somewhat better than most establishments. Especially considering today’s economy. And an economy which, despite the valiant efforts of late, still may take a little more time to recover once the dust settles from the much needed regime change.

Anyhow, I arrived on time so as to get my wings as hot as possible. And one must consider that, if you are not dining in, you really should be punctual about arriving at the exact time scheduled to pick up your food.

And, to those that are thoroughly ignorant of food sciences, know this: Gravity and condensation are factors that affect hot foods placed in modern take out containers.

This means that, if you take your good old time to pick up an order, sauces can travel to the bottom of the foil and pool. And, in addition, water condensation can also accumulate on the upper surface of modern styrofoam take out containers. Thus, after sufficient time, one could conceivably knock loose that condensation to unwittingly dilute sauces that, again, gravitated toward the foil.

….. thats my personal opinion anyway.

But, as I spoke to the cook for the second time, I perceived that he understood well the genre of the American Cafe, the ins & outs of the business and that, at times, you simply cannot please all of the people all of the time.

But, as for me, I was very pleased with the wings. I got the lemon pepper wings and their hottest offering…..the “Pray for rain”.

Both of these are excellent in flavor and texture. But don’t take my word for it. Go to Nardo’s Cafe and, no pun intended, Judge for Yourself!“

“I ordered the marinara pizza and added their cashew cheese. There were slices of garlic rather than minced garlic, which was still delicious but also new to me. The cashew cheese wasn't stretchy/melty, but instead more like a ricotta or something in texture. Didn't bother me, but I figured I would mention it. I enjoyed my pizza. Not only that, but I ordered some sort of lavender drink (I may have modified it without alcohol, if that matters) and our server was kind enough to let me check to see if the lavender syrup was vegan.“

“The service is always nice, and the pizza is always delivered on time. I wouldn't eat it there obviously but the pizza is always great. They're a little more pricey than other pizza places but the pizza is always worth it. The crust is always great and the cheese and sauce always stay on the slice when you're eating it. Their bread sticks are also awesome and I really recommend their stuffed crust. The pizza is never greasy too so if you're looking for quality the extra price is definitely worth it. “First time eating at Dino's. We called in an order for a large pepperoni pizza (with onions and mushrooms), an order of mozzarella sticks, an order of onion rings, and the combo steak hoagie (large with no green/bell peppers, add, mayo and lettuce). We were very pleased with our order and the helpful staff. My mother walks with a cane and when she went in to get the order, they walked it out for her. Thank you staff! The food was delicious. The steak hoagie is the best I've had since moving to the area 12 years ago. I've tried a lot of steak hoagies at other places and they were not nearly as good. The meat-to-bun ratio was perfect and it was very filling. The bun wasn't soggy with grease and had great flavor and a nice chew. The onion rings were great. They were not soggy and had great beer batter crunch, the same for the mozzarella sticks. We got a large pizza and it was HUGE. The crust had such good flavor. My only complaint would be that they did not put enough pepperoni on it to sufficiently cover the real estate. They could be a bit more generous with the toppings. Pricing at Dino's is on par with other places in the area. I found I spent the same amount there as I did placing an order to Dominos, the difference being I got a lot more food from Dino's. For what I paid to get a large pepperoni pizza (bigger than anything Dominos serves and better tasting), mozzarella sticks, onion rings, and a really good large steak hoagie, I paid Dominos for a large pepperoni pizza, 2 salads and a brownie. The steak and cheese at Dominos can't even compare to Dino's. I'll be going back to Dino's in the future.“

“Mamas is always fantastic, call and check the hours though occasionally they have changed. Avoid the big chains and support this local gem. The atmosphere is great but because of its great food and service frequently very busy both in house and delivery“

“Just had a fantastic little pizza from OIP and wanted to share! I ordered a small pie with extra cheese and extra pepperoni, and it was exactly what I was craving.

The pizza was perfectly cooked – the crust was nice and crisp on the bottom, but still soft and chewy on top. The extra cheese was melted to perfection and gave that wonderful, gooey pull with every bite. And the extra pepperoni? Delicious! There was just the right amount of spice and it was clearly good quality pepperoni, not the cheap stuff.

Honestly, it was the perfect comfort food. It hit the spot after a long day. The service was friendly and the pizza was ready quickly. I'll definitely be ordering from OIP again soon.
